Thank you for explaining WHY blanching is important. So many videos saying "you can freeze it without, or without even shucking" but this tells me why I should blanch. Im using your method. Thank you!
Great video I'm glad I found this. I blanched corn many years ago. I just needed a re fresher. Thanks mate well done.....👌
Thank you for your help and taking the time to share your skills with us.💖🤗
I'm blanching some Corn now. I've always frozen my Corn using that method, on and off the Cob. Not only that, but I freeze my Peas and many other vegetables using the blanching method.
Do you blanch the Corn on cob first then remove the kernals off the cob after blanching? Or do u remove corn kernelss off first and then blanch?
@@chrbx13 I remove the corn from the cob first, then blanch it. I also blanch the corn on the cob also.
are you still monitoring? I d like to steam my corn to blanche it before freezing. Any idea how long?
I want to freeze the sweetcorn kernals. I have 🌽 on the cobs and confused on whether I should blanch the full 🌽 first before removing the corn kernels... Or should I remove the corn kernels off of the cob and then blanch that way? Before freezing?
Easy to understand...
I notice you didn’t remove the silk after shucking
Nah I don't bother
