Everybody talks about making sauce from frozen tomatoes what about just eating them in a salad. Which is why I grow them in the first place.

we usually always go and pick tomatoes from local organic farmers or grow them and cook them into to sauce which we then can them, but it always ends up being to much work. So this time i picked my tomatoes i tried your method. Today i just pulled a bag out to make sauce for chicken Parmesan and tasted fresh as it was from the garden loved your tips especially the straw tip. thank you.

AWESOME VIDEO. So excited to know i can freeze tomatoes whole instead of having to can them and lose that nutrition. I am a new gardner and watching videos like crazy to get up to speed and minimize mistakes my first year.... then on top of that I thought i had to learn how to can foods too. SO GRATEFUL that i have an easy way to store my first harvest. Thanks you. Just love all of your videos.

You REALLY froze the first tomatoes? You weren't tempted by the Kelloggs Breakfast? You are much stronger that I am.

Take a blender craft, fill it full of fresh tomatoes. Add basil, garlic, sweet pepper, and 1 oz of Olive oil. Puree well, pour onto parchment paper. And dehydrate, turns out like a fruit rollup. I do this and when I cook eggs. I'll rip-off a piece and add it or making a Sandwich. It is a great way to use up those extra tomatoes. And they'll last just about a year and you don't have to refrigerate them.

I have always heard that you shouldn't refrigerate or freeze tomatoes because it 'turns off' the flavor components. Do your frozen ones lose flavor over your fresh tomatoes? Is there an advantage of freezing over traditional canning methods other than just speed? Are the flavors comparable?
