Mach 1 emblem, please! Love the video! I just snagged a sweet 2001 Ranger 4x4 for $775 from Copart. My wife & I swapped bumpers & a tail gate from a wrecking yard from across the street, and off we went!
The engine in my challenger came out of a car just as bad and the intake and so on same deal... water in the intake valves, but runs perfect. The no water in the oil pan was a good sign.
Wow you guys are amazing at making great content. I just loved the chip challenge, I could not stop laughing 😂 that car was smoked. Keep them coming as we love your videos in the UK
Jeez back in the mid 70's friends of mine were wrecking Mach 1's! Looks like nothing has changed! Back in 03 I rebuilt a totaled 03 GT Mustang! Fast forward to the summer of 05 and it had a close encounter with a 1 ton truck! This time there was no rebuilding it or even thought of rebuilding it because it was bad and the engine was stuffed into the firewall. The bright side of the deal was I walked away with no lasting injuries! I bought another new Mustang and in in 07 I bought a Parnelli Jones Mustang that I still have with 12K miles. I have had great luck with Mustangs as far as surviving the wrecks so I am a fan!
I'm jealous. I've always wanted to get ahold of one of those. I had a 2007 GT in Grabber Orange. I turned it into a Twister Special tribute. Fortunately her fate has been brighter than the poor car in this video even though I no longer own her.
@@katieandkevinsears7724 Kevin back when I was a kid riding my bike in my neighborhood and there was a local Guy who would drive by in a new orange Boss 302. I was ten years old back then then in 1969. Right then I promised myself one day I would get one them. Anyhow even though I owned some cool cars over the years I never did get my Boss 302. So when I first saw my Parnelli Jones Mustang I decided I had to do it. It now has 12K miles after all these years. And it is original right down to the tires & the window sticker. I was just out to the garage to check the batter maintainer and all is well. So one day maybe in a couple of months I will take it out for a cruise! I wish you luck on finding your dream Mustang.
Wow! What a major bummer. I got smoked on this one too. I put too much hope initially about the Mach 1 and I really thought that the motor would be good. I'm curious about the crash that killed this car. What the heck happened? My lord the car must have been going extremely fast and rolled end over and end and finished with rolling on the side for a few more barrel rolls. RIP
The 4 Coyote engine is an all alone of engine block with steel sleeves. For the pistons, these pistons can be replaced along with the other intarnold parts. The crank shaft. Everybody has to take measurements on these parts, including the rod's Manes and And make sure that it can be useful even when this engine is showing some cracks. It can be repaired, but it is up to the person. To either make the repair or a scrap room. The engine slaves can be reinserted. Can be purchased anywhere. You can also purchase the entire bottom in assembly and the cam shaft. Wherever you want from the aftermarket. Every internal part and external part can be purchased in the After market. The expense you're gonna experience is the expense of 4 cam shafts instead of one. This requires a certain amount of technical know how that makes sure the cam shafts and the rotating assembly are working in perfect timing order. In assembly. The assembly is still worth money. The camp shafts are still worth money. They're worth money because you can send these out to the aftermarket and get a new grind on all 4 camp shafts. Saving money, this is a selling point. As long as the camp shafts have not had any bad reports from any examinations. From any machine shops to get these examined is should be a very affordable price and it should be done. I'm clear in the ground, including the measurements of the intake and exhaust lobes and its separation in between intake and exhaust lobes. The timing chain is also gonna be pretty much good. Condition once it's inspected and examined for chain stretch. It's including the guiding parts of the timing chain assembly in the Ford Coyote, the 8, which is the 302 modular V8. Is the Ford module V8 and 302 cubic inches is the most popular Ford engine that they have ever produced except for the Ford effi Big block and small block ethy blocks. The 302 modular Coyote VA was a demand from the African market. And it's fans of the 302 small block withe single camp shaft and then lifter assembly. This makes it much more popular to have 4 cam V8. Then the 1KMV8, you know, 4K M can produce up to 2000 horsepower or more. For all out Drag Racing, this would not be a small tire setup for street car. This would be a large tire Drag Racing car. But this engine is really popular. It just needs examination of all the parts to make sure nothing has fractured, not fractured. The cam shaft not fractured any other parts in the bottom in rotating assembly, including the rotating assembly of the camp shapps, including inspection of the lifters and lifter assemblies and Springs. And further inspection into the vows. This engine also can produce this horse. Power and be a very potent small block V8 with a available aftermarket. This forward module of the 8 with 4 cams and lightweight vows can really move down the road and down the track, being the street and strip car that someone always wanted. In a whole new way with his traction control systems.
I would part out the engine. Or buy an engine with worn rod bearings and damaged crank. Fix that one with the crank and most likely 2 con rods of your engine. Bring the heads to a machine shop to check them and/or repair them and sell those to somebody with a broken distribution. The damaged cilinder block becomes a nice table for your man cave😉.
Its funny that I knew it was a Mustang at the start of the video, funny part is I was like Yep that's a 2001 Mustang can tell by the body.. wait, its a 2021??? I've seen a lot of wrecks, I can tell quite easily that car was airborne and flipped end over end, probably coming to a final stop on its roof, speed would've been the biggest factor in this wreck.

As a happy owner of a '21 Mach 1, I can say with authority, the front fender gaps on that salvage are still better than the gaps on my front fenders.
Depending on how deep the damage is to the cylinder wall, will determine if you can bore and hone it or if you have to sleeve it
Could’ve saved the cams and maybe the heads and a few of the pistons/rods

In bad wrecks the frame flexes and pulls the motor mounts resulting in cracking the block.
