this band has brought me back from the brink a more than once. i quit playing music after almost 20 years, countless bands that went nowhere, venues and show promoters fucking me and my bands out of money countless times. and then i heard DnD. they showed me a whole new kind of music and ethos that i had never encountered before, and at a time where i was near the end of my rope, lyrics that i identified with pulled me back. i once traveled 18 hours to have the privilege to meet them and they made time to hang out with me even though they were extremely short on time and had to fly out of the country that evening. most down to earth people i have ever met, they might not remember it at all, but this band right here keeps me going.
