This video was filmed right around New Years 2016. Jesse from DND gave my number to Stza from Leftover Crack. They were looking for someone to do a music video for them, and of course I was down to do it. So they flew me down to Louisiana and I joined the tour for a few days. Once I had finished all of the Leftover Crack video, I started filming this one! This was all filmed in their hometown Houston.

I love the lyrics "where will I be in 10 years? Will I be homeless and buries or have children and be married, or will I be stuck standing right here" with that last option sounding the most hopeless and destitute. Beautifully written. Bravo.
Man I agree but also I dont, it's the option between de-evolution and re-evolution. The terrifying prospect of both and the terrifying prospect of choosing neither. I would rather stay the current mess that I am than become worse but bettering myself seems so much scarier
as a 16 years old punk that don't know what he want to do in life and don't have a lot of hope for the future, those lyrics hit hard
@@theogaming2328 hey man love what you do and do what you love, I'm 28 and if there's one thing I could tell myself 10 years ago it would seriously be to not get so caught up in my own bullshit. To articulate, I went from a punk to a raver to stranded on my ass realizing I thought what was going to be my life ended up just being .... idk that phase, that night, that high, whatever it is, it doesn't last forever. Every time i told myself this was it, but man life is longer than yoh thinkg..Nothing wrong with it if you want that life, but if you dont - don't let your social connections slip away before you realize you're being left behind.
Make good friends who you can trust to support you and be by your side. The friends you want to have will want to see you succeed.

-Mccafferty if you want some depressed teen punk shit, even if the singer is an asshole (he was amanipulative and an asshole in a general way), it's still really great
-Black Beach is some boston garage punk that is one of the best recent garage punk music i found, their best album is shallow creatures
-Local News Legend for some folk punk with acoustic guitar only and the singer/songwriter who have pretty good lyrics
-A.F.K for some harcore punk, and when i mean harcodore it's the most hardcore music i've seen
Fauve is a french spoken word/indie rock band that talk about a lot of depressive stuff (if you understand french it's a pleasure to hear)

I miss NOLA. I've been blessed with seeing so many good bands hit the Cypress/Highgrounds when it was still around. And outside of that running into the Crust punks that changed my life just by looking me square in the eye. It was a fucking trip.

Folk punk with trumpets will always hold quite the place in my heart. Songs like Hair and Bile by Foot Ox and even Post Party Depression always have that special twang from the trumpet.

I love all music but mostly heavy stuff mostly BUT Days N Daze are one of my all time favorites and thanks to my daughter I know them. We just saw them in Brooklyn and I’m 50 and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Not only are they great but very humble.

Thanks. At 3 months I went to see ramshackle glory. Holy shit that was so fucking hard. needles and that delicious sweet/acrid smell in the air wafting up from tinfoil and determination. I almost gave up right there.

I find that funny when ramshackle was his recovery album, but then again i doubt that would've phased Pat. Maybe the answer is to travel. Be that crusty kid hitching down the coast, drink in every small town, and find the answer to the reason you spiralled in the first place that's what ive been doing. slip or two but im at about 6 months

They randomly came on when I was reminiscing on some old Against Me on UA-cam with autoplay on and I have listened to them more in the past few days than I have slept. A lot of not so great things have happened in the past 6 month and finding Days N Daze has been a breath of fresh air in my lungs. You guys are fucking awesome.

Found these guys through a hole in the wall late night show in my town while they were playing as Eacape the Zoo. Incredible show, never seen a turnout like that before or since at that venue. Amazing performance, crowd work and vibe. Since then I've become a huge fan of the earlier work and the modern. Y'all are incredible performers, artists and writers 👏👏👏

Been having a real hard time these last few years. Lost my mother, both my grandparents, and my cousin sadly took his own life. Struggling with depression and anxiety but this music makes me feel something. It helps me get through my days N daze (sorry for the bad pun lol). You absolutely rock. 2 years ago, on a trip to Mexico for 2 weeks, I booked a day layover in Houston... it was the absolute highlight of the trip,, I came the day after Houston won the world series in baseball.. town was still hung over starting celebrations again from it. Then a couple took me to Notsouh, the most amazing bar I've ever been to... Then told me about this band. I have been hooked ever since, and it'd be a dream come true to see them live in Ottawa Canada
