Something about this song makes me feel like talking. Think it's ten years from now. Back in days when it was parties and drinking all night with friends I wouldn't have considered I'd be here now. Thought I'd be dead or off wandering the roads. Instead taking care of family, wondering what I'll do when I'm done. Build a house on the land? Hit the road? Try to relive the party years? All seem good options but its been so long since I've been that free that i almost don't believe i will be again
2 years ago, on a trip to Mexico for 2 weeks, I booked a day layover in Houston... it was the absolute highlight of the trip,, I came the day after Houston won the world series in baseball.. town was still hung over starting celebrations again from it. Then a couple took me to Notsouh, the most amazing bar I've ever been to... Then told me about this band. I have been hooked ever since, and it'd be a dream come true to see them live in Ottawa Canada
Currently experiencing some post party depression and because I get invited to parties and hangouts once a fucking blue moon this shit hits about 7x harder. God my 20s are being wasted

I would loved to hang out with you amazing people, I love your music and how you guys are so damn cool if you were here I would buy you all a beer and hang out

Found these guys through a hole in the wall late night show in my town while they were playing as Eacape the Zoo. Incredible show, never seen a turnout like that before or since at that venue. Amazing performance, crowd work and vibe. Since then I've become a huge fan of the earlier work and the modern. Y'all are incredible performers, artists and writers 👏👏👏
Hey comrade. Thanks. I think you are correct. Thanks. At 3 months I went to see ramshackle glory. Holy shit that was so fucking hard. needles and that delicious sweet/acrid smell in the air wafting up from tinfoil and determination. I almost gave up right there. I didn't. But I knew it was going to be a while. Looking forward to it.
I find that funny when ramshackle was his recovery album, but then again i doubt that would've phased Pat. Maybe the answer is to travel. Be that crusty kid hitching down the coast, drink in every small town, and find the answer to the reason you spiralled in the first place that's what ive been doing. slip or two but im at about 6 months
Sounds excellent. Stay safe and dry out there. Slips happen, no big worry, get up and keep going, so on. I'm personally done with most of my wondering in search of Krustopia, but I've met many folks and have a few stories.
I miss you, Dylan. I miss you so much. Everything just changed after the world lost you and I haven't been the same since. None of us have. I listen to your favorite bands and I think of you. Thanks for showing up in my dreams a couple weeks ago, it's how I know you're still around and still think of me. Until and if we ever meet again, my friend.
Love it. Happy New Years in 2021 and blessed are those who speak their own truth. I started listening to this band last month and it was perfect for all of the shit I was going through and helped me put things into perspective. Of all the music I do listen to, Days N Daze allows me to just be me, no pretentiousness, no garbage, just the straight dope.

I didn't know anything about this band until about a year ago when I saw them at Punk in Drublic fest in France after driving over 1200km mostly for NOFX. Probably one of the most fun shows I ever witnessed.
Currently have wrists which are degrading in strength every day, but I just got invited to play my first gig as a solo act. So right now, I'm fighting through the pain on my guitar, just trying to learn this one so I can play it live. I hope to do it proud and that my wrists don't completely give out during my act haha. It's just too good a song to pass up playing
My life was and is the bipolar opposite of this and I have never felt more connected to anyone. It’s just raw and real. And I feel that. Been awhile since I listened, just felt the urge. RIP Chad and hope Grant is doing ok 😔

You're fuckin' awesome don't you ever forget
[Modified Chorus]
'Cause when the fire dies down
What the fuck will you do?
When the man comes around
What the fuck will you do?
Who's gonna be there to catch you
When your plans all fall through?
When you were flyin' your white flag
Who never gave up on you?
[Verse 5]
Build up your confidence
Will lead to have a breakdown
And every morning that you wake up's just a let down
Find yourself a comfort or two
Adjust until your face down black out fucked up
Just to help yourself forget
The world we live in is a terrifying place
Who will be ones who are there
When the rest have gone away
The ones who've turned their back on you
They're staggerin' off the plank
Come back a fuckin' cannon
Blow 'em away
And watch them sink
[Chorus] (x2)
Tell me when the fire dies down
What the fuck will you do?
When the man comes around
What the fuck will you do?
Who's gonna be there to catch you
When your plans all fall through?
When you were flyin' your white flag
Who never gave up on you?
Tytyty 😊
Since I came across this band I haven't stopped listening. So glad punk is back in my life.
This is a certified hood classic
I just read that in the voice without realizing 🤣
sometimes i just sit and listen to these songs and have a good cry, makes me feel grounded in a sense
A friend introduced me to Days n Daze and now I can't get enough! Love your music!
My friends don't like this type of music ;((
Got them to like Ajj luckily
its been years now
i never thought a song could mean so much to me
b r o. this comment is me.
these are the only people who make me feel no alone . Kicking back beers chain smoking cigs and crying . Thanks for the therapy
Fucked up part is I was there too a couple weeks back. No surprise, here we go again!
Currently experiencing some post party depression and because I get invited to parties and hangouts once a fucking blue moon this shit hits about 7x harder. God my 20s are being wasted
Saw these guys with leftover crack, they killed it!
Circa 2015 , I was just kicked out of a halfway house in SA and my brother Blake picked me up and we B lined it to a backyard show downtown .and These Beautiful people where playing . After party was at Autumn’s apartment they where there too , hahah y’all where there
U guys understand me. And getting goosebumps by listening to your songs. Means your voices and messages, text are awsome really emotional damn good shit. Love you all
I was hanging out with my mom and showed her AJJ, and autoplay did its thing. This song started playing and holy shit, I stopped dead in my tracks, and just listened. I had such a big, genuine smile on my face. I dont know what it was but right when I heard it I loved it and was put in an absolute trance.
I would loved to hang out with you amazing people, I love your music and how you guys are so damn cool if you were here I would buy you all a beer and hang out
For the price of a pizza a bag of weed and a warm place to sleep you can have sex with anybody in the band!
Even though I have never met the band in person, or its members, some of their music has gotten me through some tough spots, I consider them an extension of family.
Came here for postpartum depression somehow this is exactly what I was searching for
Found these guys through a hole in the wall late night show in my town while they were playing as Eacape the Zoo. Incredible show, never seen a turnout like that before or since at that venue. Amazing performance, crowd work and vibe. Since then I've become a huge fan of the earlier work and the modern. Y'all are incredible performers, artists and writers 👏👏👏
Being 13 months off the needle... I miss these shows, but I can't go, because I was so fucking high when I did... Man. Bummer.
keep it up friend
you'll get to a point where its been so long where its just a distant memory in a year or two and you'll be able to go without relapsing
New Days N Daze video YAY!!! LIke/Favorite and might I add more Days N Daze videos please :-D
WHEN THE FIRE BURNS DIES DOWN WHAT THE FUCK WILL YOU DO
Jesus this reminds me so much of me and my friends
Insomnia + UA-cam found this gold. Fucking outstanding
I love this band soo much, they love each other and their fans. Its soo refreshing.
one of the best folk punk bands
I am an old punk dude cheers to you for picking up where we old farts left off.
Love this! I just met Megan yesterday and she's amazing!
"the man" came around and stomped on my fuckin neck. 3 years probation over some shit that happened 2 years ago. remember when i lived a similar life to what is represented in this video, missing it every single day. doing whatever the hell me and my friends felt like, just making ends meet, fucking shit up when we felt like it, GOD I MISS IT. RIP to my brother who showed me that life... RIP to my freedom
cant wait til friday gonna be going to the show in Dallas Texas with my dad!
i love this song so much. I long for a community like that
i love this vid the vibe is perfect for the song! so excited to get to see you guys in amsterdam
Still here In 2024
First concert was them an leftover crack back in 2015 Orlando ❤️🖤🤘
I've been sober for ten weeks now and this still sounds good to me. I guess I do just have bad taste.
Thanks guys you brought the tears back I haven't been able to cry since my mom died I'd love nothing more than a bum picnic somewhere someday
Thanks guys -red
Would love to kick it with this bunch. They seem like my kind of people. Sadly we are states apart and im too broke to ever follow them around. (I'd love to meet them folks, Itd be a great first concert; never been to one before.) And to chill with them after would be epic. A man can dream( im using a friends account, my name is Luke.)
did luke ever meet them?
I love playing this song on the ukulele! These people are wonderful.
kinda like a dirty kid version of streetlight manifesto
just enough brass to make the comparison
wondering if you've only heard their sort of christian album. their other stuff isn't universally awesome but they have some good songs.
I thought the same thing! Especially the breakdown part, I heard so much influence from Streetlight there.
Or a dirty kid version of Coffee Project. The side project of one of the dudes from Less Than Jake.
kinda like a punk band like a punk band like another punk band that was inspired by another punk band
you have a promising career in music journalism, Johnathon Smithery
Got to see Days n Daze in New Orleans a few weeks ago. One hell of a show, can't say enough good things about them! Something special about this band.
Its been a minute that this has been up and it still breaking my heart, this song, these fine folks, standing in front of a "budlight" logo... there was a time when this would of be the deepest lie ever told over a pipe. I miss you
Don't know you guys personally, obviously. Though at some of my lowest points you guys have always been there. Thank you.
I'm surprised the video wasn't sponsored by steel reserve
dragon nighthawk hahaha omg..😂😂😂😂😂⚰️💯💯

That Switch in Tempo was really really suprising and good. Just like this whole song
When you're at the show but no where in the video, smh
+Misanthropicdouche Sorryyyy I was there mostly to film LoC
This was on new years in Houston? I was there too haha
Check out the new Leftover Crack vdieo, they used the same show, and I'm actually in that one.
Awe poor baby.
I didn't know anything about this band until about a year ago when I saw them at Punk in Drublic fest in France after driving over 1200km mostly for NOFX.
Probably one of the most fun shows I ever witnessed.
Awwww yeah dnd and shibby are at it again!!!
DnD is *great*, really glad Fat Wreck signed 'em.
My life was and is the bipolar opposite of this and I have never felt more connected to anyone. It’s just raw and real. And I feel that. Been awhile since I listened, just felt the urge. RIP Chad and hope Grant is doing ok 😔
The morning after one strip of good acid and a whole box of nitrous helped me truly understand this song.
Dudeeeee, I felt this
Nice
Sure dude its just a song u can feel that way about anything u do on that drug lmaooo
When ever I see a folk punk music video every one looks like there having so much fun
I just listen to this song to remind me of my brother who was taken too soon and cry. 1st fucking st. Partricks day home without him
Must admit Ive really found a home in these songs. Thank you
Those lyrics hit like a truck
Kinda makes me bummed out that I've managed to miss all these shows here at home lately.. it's ok though, because the happiness it brings me is much greater!
i can't stop listening to rogue taxidermy tooo good.
Amazing how much cleaner, safer, and loving, the dirty scene has become

Loved seeing yall in LA thanks for letting us in backstage and smoking with us! Also still have my jacket yall signed! And kudos to playin on that broken leg girl! Love yall! Come to Chicago please
Verse 1]
Peel the mask away
Drop the masquerade
Lose the tough guy facade
The world's a scary place
Everybody's afraid
Whether they'd like to admit or not
It's the truth
[Verse 2]
Sooner or later this party gets busted
And all your friends stumble back home
But you're the loose cannon
That could never be trusted
So you'll hide from the cops all alone
Again
[Chorus]
Tell me when the fire dies down
What the fuck will you do?
When the man comes around
What the fuck will you do?
Who's gonna be there to catch you
When your plans all fall through?
When you were flyin' your white flag
Who never gave up on you?
[Verse 3]
The future is terrifying
It constantly plagues my mind
Where will I be in ten years
Will I be homeless?
Or buried?
Or have children and be married?
Or will I still be stuck standin' right here?
[Verse 4]
Either way it's been a privilege
To have had time to spend
With my wonderful family and friends
So I'll toast to all of you
And to all that you do
You're fuckin' awesome don't you ever forget
[Modified Chorus]
'Cause when the fire dies down
What the fuck will you do?
When the man comes around
What the fuck will you do?
Who's gonna be there to catch you
When your plans all fall through?
When you were flyin' your white flag

I come through every now and then, this song makes me feel stuff. Thanks.
Do you guys think you'll ever be able to come to Vancouver, BC? Or somewhere in that area?
July 1st and 2nd @ Venue Nightclub
Any chance you guys will be coming to Northern California? You have almost single-handedly turned me onto sooo much in this life... I was blind before. A show with you guys would mean so much more than words can describe. =)
The closest will be Portland, Oregon on July 6th @ Bossanova Ballroom
+Shibby Pictures Damn! Looks like we'll be going across the country at some point to see them. I have to at some point in my life. Thanks for being you. =).
we just played 2 shows up in vanvouver!! wonderful city!! -je-C
Thank you for helping me out when I'm having a shit day.
"I drink a toast to you and all that you do; you're fucking awesome don't you ever forget"
