Todd is so calm and zen since well, what he describes in "Nigredo". He used to be the joker on stage, he's settled down but he's still amazing, he's like how I wish more people were, there's this good vibe coming from him (I saw him in real life, live, at shows with 60 people during the Less Talk latter part of the tour when John had quit the band), not just from video heh. He's quite the counterpart to Chris who seems to be getting more and more pissed off (in the productive way) live.
I want someone to ask him if there will ever be an I-Spy reunion? To me, that band is the epitome hardcore melodic punk! Some of the coolest guitar breakdowns.
That was a great interview! This is my first time seeing you interview someone and so, this may be par for you, but I want to personally say Thank you, Dan for having a real conversation with the man and not "Broh! X-Games!" schmucky
My favorite thing about Todd: he'll kind of be chugging along on bass, then all of a sudden decide he wants to totally fucking lose it, and go absolutely out of his mind with a riff. Legend.
We programmed us to self-police very effectively. There could be one actor you really like and everyone has a great time with, and suddenly a hate-mob rolls over him on Twitter because of something he once said and suddenly he is the face of evil. We're so occupied with judging everyone else that we don't even know what's happening to ourselves. Great interview and views!
Indeed, too bad they didn't play eastern Canada that often in their very long career (I got their first 7" in 1982, "Real Men Don't Watch Quincy"), I remember though, this 2 bucks big festival we had in QC, the first fest I went to, scene on a baseball field, of course the sound wasn't that great, but man the atmosphere...and when the acid kicked in, oh boy, Cannibal Corpse had just left the stage and SNFU came in and they drained everyone of their energy and the following band which was an okay funk-metal band from Montreal kind of seemed lame even though they had a lot of fans. It was when SNFU released Fyulaba, which is my favourite LP of theirs, that and "If You Swear You'll Catch No Fish" back in the 80's too, 2nd LP..their first LP I could enjoy more if the drums were just not so badly recorded. Lol at Chi Pig now, haha, he didn't look like that back in '97 at that festival, just was wearing a scottish dress and had bleached hair, everyone had bleached hair back in '94-'98.
I mean this respectfully but the interviewer needs to get checked for diabetes if he hasn't already. His dark eyes suggest he may have it and isn't receiving treatment.
Inarticulate? This is one of my favorite interviews on UA-cam to come back to. It starts off with him recognizing a roommate from 30 years ago. There's nothing inarticulate about this.
Todd is fucking awesome, always having a good while playing. Fuck i love this band.
He rips bass intensely. I love his playing style and parts he writes and he is amazing live and his tone is tuff!
I could watch a 120-minute interview of this band and still want more.

So inarticulate! Interview chis instead! I thought he’d have more to say!
