- Smoking Ban:
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is pushing for a major crackdown on smoking in the UK as MPs have agreed to support the government's plan to create a "smoke-free generation" and decrease the number of deaths related to smoking.
The ban primarily targets the sale of cigarettes rather than the act of smoking itself. Under the new law, the legal age for buying cigarettes, currently 18, will increase by one year annually,, meaning that those born in or after 2009 won't ever be allowed to purchase cigarettes legally, effectively banning them.
Current smokers won't be affected, but to combat underage sales, the government plans to introduce £100 on-the-spot fines for shops in England and Wales caught selling tobacco and vapes to minors.

Angela Rayner is under investigation for several allegations, according to Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Stephen Watson, saying there are multiple claims to thoroughly investigate.
Rayner, who serves as Labour's deputy leader, faces accusations of improperly declaring her permanent address on the electoral register, which is considered a violation and concerns have been raised regarding whether she should have paid capital gains tax on the sale of her former council house.

It’s up to me if I want to smoke, drink, eat meat, chocolate, drive, not you or anyone else. Keep you noses out of what I want to do to my body. I have to work 12hr a day and nights this is bad for your health but you don’t say I am going to make it illegal to work 12hr shifts do you because the industry will shoot you down. Yet agin do gooders interfering in our rights how to live how we want.

I can't not see the tremendous hypocrisy behind all of this nonsense. Sunak is saying how concerned he is because of the deaths caused by smoking.... while completely disregarding the deaths caused by stress, suicide and so on because of impossible living conditions, low wages, high taxes, homelessness and the extreme pressure on the majority of society. I believe that the deaths resulted as a consequence of stress related diseases and suicide because of social injustice is much higher than the smoking related deaths, but he is not talking about that because he is part of the cause for those deaths.

Rayner is as guilty as hell. Her neighbours have said so, her personal aide has said so, her ex partner has said so and she, herself has said so on her social media accounts. And it has now been revealed that Angela Rayner's eldest son was listed on the electoral roll at a property in which she claimed she did not live!! It’s going to be interesting to see what the 15 police officers tasked with investigating her reveal in their report. It’s very much like beergate this.
