Former Met DCI “Cannot Comprehend How It Takes 12 Officers” To Investigate Angela Rayner’s Case

- TalkTV's Kevin O'Sullivan and Alex Phillips are joined by former Met detective Mike Neville to discuss Angela Rayner’s case, after the police launched an investigation into multiple allegations against the Shadow Secretary of State.
It comes after The Sunday Times reported that her former aide said there was “no doubt in my mind that this was Ms Rayner’s family home” when he visited her at what she says was her husband’s address in 2014.
Police are investigating whether Labour’s deputy leader broke electoral law after Tory allegations that she may have given false information about her main residence a decade ago.
Ms Rayner has promised to resign if she is found to have committed a crime over the accusations, but said she “followed the rules at all times”.
Mike Neville: “I cannot comprehend how you can employ 12 officers for a week, on a case where you say 'show me this letter.”

How many officers do you get if you’re burgled. Ah. None !
We may have been burgled , by her!
We did when we got burgled. Had 4 turn up and they helped us out no end.
I recommend you spit out the media lie.
Be lucky to get a crime number.
@malcky630 A lot of Rayners so called friends like Lammy.Starmer,Reeves and all the rest have backed her up if she isn't a clean as she suggests perhaps there judgement needs looking at especially if they are going to run our country 🤔
12 officers = IQ of 48 to solve this complicated case.
Lol 😆
Perhaps the rabbit hole goes much deeper than we've been led to believe? I don't believe for one second that the police would devote 12 officers to a minor electoral roll infraction and 1500 quid capital gains tax underpayment
12 officers equals nothing to see here is the outcome
Are Police Scotland on the case ?.
12 manchester police iq is 12 possibly 11
It takes 12 officers to find a way of letting her off
12 Diversity Hires = 1 Good Huwhite Male
The kneeler starmer will be calling some favours in just like he did with his party.
What if she is innocent?
@@jeffsuter344 DO you think she is innocent?
letting her off what?
and you wonder why the RESPECT FOR THE POLICE IS LOST
Disgraceful if starmer cant handle raynor he cant handle being PM
Angela Raynor is a nauseating multiculturalist but what about investigating the nearly £50 billion spent on the Track & Trace app that never worked and nobody used.
Don't you mean 50 million? No app costs 50 billion
@suemcgregor9248 Actually, it was about 50 billion, not 50 million - look it up, Sue.
What about an inquest into the gr**ming scandal where Brown, St*rmer and Co covered up 1000s of crimes so as not to offend certain minorities. 😅
@@suemcgregor9248Don't worry Sue. He's word blind. It was not all actually spent anyway. The system was set up by people who were being paid anyway. It wasn't extra money.
After watching PMQs today Angela sat there with a smug grin on her face the police won’t do anything
You have to be an actor when you're an MP!
"She doesn't pretend to be something that she isn't" well she's certainly doing that now!
....and yet no police turn up when you're car gets stolen or you're mugged!
Get Miss Marple on it
Yes - Miss Marple - she’s a Tory in a nice middle class area. She would see it as if her scullery maid had stolen from the poor fund when she has money in the bank. That’s how I see her at any rate.
Labour for the working class? That's a new one!
What i don't get, she keeps saying ive got proof that ive done nothing wrong, but she won't show it to anyone.
Why should she. If she has got proof I would make them wait for as long as she wants. The police should never be involved. Parliament has its own ethics committee and the tax have their own investigation team. Total waste of public money. Conservative Party are clutching at straws
Ah you’re a supporter of the Islamist Labour Party so obviously you’re supporting the ginger growler. I would not be surprised if you are a stone kisser 🤷🏽🇬🇧🇮🇱🇮🇳
@@karlowens5632 not Tories at all the ordinary people of this country that have to play by the rules . Iff they did the things Rayner has been accused of the tax man & the council would drop on you like a ton of bricks.
@@DavidEdwards-uf5lg they would not involve the police. And once the sale had gone through the council would not be involved either. The tax have their own investigation team and parliament has its ethics committee. No police should be involved at all. The tax will be investigating and so will parliament. They will release facts when ready. And yes it is the tories clutching at straws as that is all they have left

One to investigate her crimes, eleven to figure out how to sweep them under a rug.
Another one with a grudge. I wonder why?

How many police officers are needed to change a light bulb 😂😂
at least six as they are to small to reach the light on the ceiling, could be wrong though.
Caretakers job.
One.
It takes 12 officers to take notes , 1 to hold the pen and 11 to move the paper around .
I am selling a property which I used to rent out. If I claimed that I had lived there to avoid capital gains tax the the inland Revenue would be on my back.
She's been on her back already, against the wall.
Look at Rishi he's still trying to figure out how to stop the boats what a joke
When your next move is to Vote Labour I wouldn't be so smug. 😅
12 Police officers -- ALL from Durham Constabulary? 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Crooks investigating crooks!
end result
NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
Takes one to know one.
They're doing their best and maybe a light bulb had to be changed which required some forward planning before continuing with the investigation.
1 Officer is from Afghanistan and the other 11 are all interpreters.
12 officers all looking for a reason not to prosecute 🙄
How did a home carer amass a three million pounds to get that amount after tax you would have to earn double that to allow for tax .Something is not adding up.I think her expert adviser must be magic.🤔
the Police put on a dog and pony show so they can say it was manpower intensive and they investigated thoroughly but didn't find anything.
Don’t deflect if she has done wrong then let it be known
I’ve just watched a video of a pro Israel supporter being arrested today in front of the Houses of Parliament because he had a placard stating “Hamas are terrorists “ and there were nearly 20 Metropolitan Police officers escorting him into a Police van. Despite this there were many Hamas supporters waving flags and holding banners including Labour MPs on a platform there criticising the Government for being pro Israel and the police ignored them.
Don't forget the apple earbuds to go with her apple laptop
it takes one to say nothing wrong here , and the other eleven to agree with him
I cant comprehend why you dont see this as part of the cover up…
Ridiculous.
Thats the first thing that came to my mind..12 officer's!!
It's an OJ Simpson tactic! Confuse the issue with as many lawyers (police in Rayner's case) and end-up getting of the hook completely scot-free?
Never trust anyone with MP after their name.
..of the Metropolitan Police?
@jamesfield4858
Never trust any copper that goes without saying.
Why did he say there would be pressure to have a woman replacing Rayner , wouldn't you want the best person for the job ? That was a sexist remark wasn't it ? In Scotland that would be a hate crime ?
I think (along with others) that there's overkill on officer assignments so that when the inevitable 'No wrong done here' outcome arrives, they can pretend it was hugely thorough.
Rayner must be guilty, for her not to disclose the documents.
I see Ed Davey is now squirming to get off the hook over the Post Office scandal...but he was directly responsible for ignoring the evidence . Bit like Starmer and the grooming gangs..he was the Minister in charge. They shout and scream about the Tories but they are the same...all as bad as each other
when has Starmer actually been Minister of anything? You may be referring to his years as head of the CPS and the Director of Public Prosecutions. Which isn't an elected role.
Starmer has never been a minister, and he didn't ignore the evidence. The Police give the CPS cases that might warrant prosecution hundreds of times a month. If the local CPS think a particular case is worth following through the Police go ahead and prosecute. The head of the CPS dose not look at individual cases.
If there is 12 cops involved there must be something to investigate
Are these the same police who originally said there was nothing to investigate.
Keep in mind that Starmer has friends in the police force and Starmer's connection with the CPS.
Police do not investigate Tax avoidance/tax evasion issues....it is the responsibility of HMRC.....so why on earth are 12 police officers employed on the Rayner case
It doesn't make sense at all
Why was she sat at PMQs. She should be out of office
6 offices to hold the hands of the other 6 and defend them against hurty words.
Those Council estates can be brutal places for a policeman who has never been out of the police station in his career.
Like bojo had a bring a bottle party while we was locked up
It is a mini beer and curry party
Raynor might escape prosecution but she will be forever tainted as a hypocrite and a liar.

Q. How many police officers do you need to change a light bulb?
A. 2 to order the bulb, 2 to find a step ladder, 2 to turn off the light switch, 2 to hold the step ladder, 2 to check the risk assessment, 1 to supervise the work and 1 to change the light bulb. Simple!😂
How many officers for Michelle Mone?! Obviously Angela Rayner has ruffled Tory feathers!!
Starmer doesn't like her one bit. she has always been an embarrassment to Labour who need to appeal to middle ground voters . A swing voter is not going to vote for a hard liner who calls opposition scum
@@rolandhawken6628they are scum though . How the truth hurts eh
It reminds me of those "how many men or women does it take to change a light bulb?" jokes
12 Officers looking into Angela Rayners case.
Hey,
Sure you don't mean
12 officers looking into
her briefs...
just in case!!!!! 😆😂
I couldn't help myself..
Nobody can comprehend why MET took over a year to give Boris 1 ticket for five COVID parties when met protection officers witnessed them all 🤔
I have faith that Sir Keir will save her and shut down all complaints against her.
Former Met. DCI from the old school Met. who have been cleansed after all that corruption. I saw it all from the inside, particularly the CID.
A team of 12 for such a high profile figure seems perfect considering the scope of the enquiry. 5 teams of 2 plus 2 supervisors. A Sergeant and an Inspector or even higher. The Commissioner will be updated daily. All perfectly normal.
12 officers. Of course. It's more difficult than policing hurty tweets. And when that's all you're capable of, when something different comes along, there has to be some hand holding. Imagine all the pitfalls.
Especially when they don’t know what crimes been reported
It's not 10. They will have added a telephonist who may have taken a call, an office junior who may have looked up a file, in fact anybody who is remotely connected to the case. WHY they have said it's 10 people is the question ?
They need a full compliment of the diversity and inclusion brigade plus one person to hold the pride flag
I thought the police were short of officers. Wasn’t that supposed to be one of the reasons they apparently have no time to investigate shoplifting, burglary, mobile phone theft by vicious thugs on e-bikes, car theft etc?
The reason that the Met is sending in so many officers is that they are all eager to investigate the ginger growler. It's dangerous work so safety in numbers
Its a simple case. Did she live there or not? Neighbours say no. 💥
She made money from lies?
💥
Ciao. 😂
Possibly 12 PSOs all lefties nothing to see here.
But it'll take 12 officers of the modern Police Force to find the door!
They are all trying to work out what the hell James Daly is on about.
The 12 police might be better used to investigate the non dom status of the
millionare MP who started this waist of police time.
And what are they investigating? The person who raised the complaint, what was in his letter to the police?
Surely, it's HMRC?
No, potentially electoral offences, false accounting etc, who knows until you do it thoroughly.
Wasnt she lucky gdtting a council house
Also ask Angela Rayner about Lady Jane's massage club in Failsworth, Manchester.
12 police officers they are definitely covering their backs
This is what hate creates in Northern Towns.
12 modern cops = half a Sherlock. I think they will need more cops, no cameras no grass what do they do.
It takes 12 officers in a shift to ring HMRC and for one of them to get the phone answered by anyone. Never mind one of them being lucky enough to have someone from HMRC that actually understands the question. You sure won't get an answer other than.... Let me put you on hold! Oh guess what the phone has gone dead.
Well I guess we need to either half the police since 12 police to investigate an address redicolulous. When my neighbours man died they never sent out anywhere near 12 police when a man next door to me has been trying to kick my door in from 2018 & assaulted me harrassed me they sent 2 & jt took years to get him charged & she's getting 12 were obviously way down on crime & they've nothing to do which I can't see that especially England
What's the difference between a fiddling politician and a politician? One got caught
Cell site analysis is the process of reconstructing the general location and movements of a mobile telephone. This can show if a phone was in proximity to a scene of crime at a specific time, or not!
The old bill need to employ inspector CLOUSSEAU
They are shown to be inept
Have they spoken
To her neighbours
That is all that is
Required
Because it's a doddle , easy and lucrative and they can spend most of their time at home doing their personal business . Whose to know ? And anyway what do most "detectives " do with their days ? Not a lot is the answer !
Your joking only 12 ,the met had double that investigating a cake during lockdown.
The police arent that busy right now, obviously.
No stabbings, political rallies every weekend, burglaries, thefts, muggings at all in London.
They obviously cleared all that up. Nothing to see here. Get back. Get back....😢
Looks like this is a drama. No investigation than investigation and than say what they plan
The jury is out..😂😂
Eddie Murphy only gets 48 hours to solve a case.
Depends on the extent of crime
I don't know what the fuss is about ,you need two officers to get the coffees in ,another two to get the sandwiches from Tesco ,two to answer the phone in case AR rings them . two to shuffle the papers ,two to check the spelling on reports . But who is going to drive the motor ? I am amazed they can carry out such a complex investigation with only 12 officers
Go for the rest of them their all bent.
I to investigate 11 to look for nasty words
In a Labour run city we have left wing police investigating the Deputy Labour Leader’s financial wrongdoings. Originally the police said nothing to investigate. The Deputy Leader said done nothing wrong and have letter to prove it, Leader says I believe her but I haven’t seen the letter, Deputy says not showing the letter to anyone but I’ve got it. Nothing fishy here.
are these clowns sure they are talking about Rayner they seem delusional.
i do hope talk tv and gbnews are happy for the police for taking 12 officers from doing there job investigation from there duty
