      People process and handle grief differently. He may also be on medication or have similar sociopathic personality as his father . He is probably most concerned about what money he will be able to inherit after all the civil suits. That’s why he sold all the Tractors , atvs , farm implements etc for cash as soon as his dad was arrested

      I cant believe yours is the only comment about this. That stain is all I thought about during the video. I'm not sure people realize what those stains are. They match the crime scene photos... and that darkest spot is where his brain landed and had to be scraped off the sidewalk.

      @@Punnoosia yea I thought the same thing. No one even knows. Alec looked traumatized when the witnesses went into detail about this point of the murders. You could tell he was reliving it in his mind. The look on Paul's face after he shot him has to be burned into his memory forever. Glad the jury came back guilty though. This was such an insane case.

    No way would I live that far in the boonies. I can see why getting wifi would be difficult. I also find it odd that they have no security cameras on the property. I understand why Maggie preferred to stay at the beach property rather than this desolate place.

      Marian said on witness stand Maggie had found a house she loved in Blufton had her parents& her view it. She was so excited. Had borrowed $650K to completely renovate the Edisto beach house which was nearly complete when she was murdered. Then Alex said No! Due to pending civil case over boat accident death.

You'd think that with all the millions upon millions upon millions of dollars he made plus stolen funds, she should have been able to scrape up $650,000 just by looking down the couch cushions, seats of the car, return/sell a few high dollar purchases, and have a yard sale over the weekend! Amazing how much money he had and yet he STILL lived going hand to mouth and paycheck to paycheck as though he lived in poverty. Pretty sad existence living a fake showy life but not having two pennies to rub together. I wonder WHAT he REALLY did with all that money!!!

      Absolutely. It looks like a horror movie. There killing doves 🕊 for chrissakes!! Alex would not have been so fat if he gardenened instead of driving around in a golf cart shooting at animals. Do some gardening!!!! I have seen actual cattle and pig 🐖 farms in Massachusetts that were much cleaner and inviting

      The property is dried and in disrepair now.
      His son has never been back there he said.
      It was perfectly manicured, maintained and watered before the crime.
      It’s an incredibly poignant visual metaphor for that family and the ruin it is now.

This, to me, is how you treat a resource, not something you care about. Its a shame to me that people find animal conditions like this unquestionable.     I think this helped the States case to come and visit murder site. To see how far out in the country it is. No reasonable person would think someone would come onto a property at dusk with dogs, guns, maybe camera's, and kill a mother and her son. The risk out weights the means. Any criminologist would say the same thing.

      Buster did not gave his father a headache,I believe Paul his son is being litigated for the death of one of his friend in the boating accident and that would have been money liability for Alex to pay also.So he did not want to pay potentially million in damages.His wife Maggie being dead and if he got away with it.He could sell his house or that property in millions with no one to share the proceeds except him.He get all the money from the sale.Plus saving his face or embarassment from his wife or family from all the financial crimes it was about to unravel.So he wanted Paul and his wife out of his life by killing them

    There’s no way anyone could’ve entered that property, undetected, and killed 2 people before they had the chance to react. How would the “5’2 inch” killers know Maggie & Paul would be at the kennels, and how would they be able to find the kennels (the property is 1700 acres)?

      It is not unusal for jurors to visit the scene of where a crime occurred. If I were a juror I would want to see where the crime occurred to give me a better perspective of things.

    There isn't a doubt in my mind that he wouldn't have heard 2 shotgun blasts and 4 AR15 shots in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Those shots would've rang and echo'd for miles. Just one of the many reasons I'm assured of his guilt beyond any doubt let alone reasonable doubt.

    Having been to the property, the jurors must have crossed out the feasibility of unknown assailant/s lurking behind the bush undetected, which was implied by the defence.

      It is sad that someone they trusted did such a horrible thing & neither deserve it! , but they weren’t innocent in life it self! Buster has a suspicious background following him related to killing Steven, Paul for killing the Beach girl, & his mom somehow in the falling of the housekeeper. Mom knew that Paul had a drinking problem & she alone with Alex chose to look the other way! & just cover up All of his wrong doings & bad choices! Buster allegedly gave a copy of his id to Paul so he could buy alcohol! So Yessss it’s Sad All around! All of the lying & covering up started with daddy Randolph!
      This family thought that they could say & Do whatever they wanted to Anybody they wanted & continue to get away with it, like they did for generations!

      The dog did speak...it was Bubba in the video that Paul took. Bubba had the ginny in his mouth...which made Alex speak and said aloud "Bubba"
      That is how we know that Alex was at the crime scene.

      @@rosiegirl2485 Did they ever bring up in the trial where Bubba was when LE got there? Obviously he was loose during the video, but did AM put him back in the kennel after the killing? Dogs are close to their humans so I can imagine it would have been hard to get him rounded up after seeing his human "family" members murdered. Is that why the kennel cleaner guy (cant remember his name right now..) mentioned about the hose not being put back up correctly? I absolutely think AM did it; I am just amazed at how quickly he was able to get everything cleaned up in the short amount of time. Had to have been premeditated..

    It looks dead here. Alex collapsed the house of cards. He ran a muck for yeeears and was probably just like Paul (ROLIP) when he was young. It's all captivating. Next, the mom will die....
    That family is ruined. I'm wondering if they'll move out of S.C.

      If the property was in good condition would be different but outbuildings look like they'll need to be replaced in a couple years. No caretaker obviously. Overgrowth vegetation needs clearing. New owner must not live nearby perhaps out of state. As it is very haunting looks like time stood still after murders.

      It’s the acreage , hanger and runway that make it valuable . It’s a 5 million dollar estate with multiple barns , ponds and two separate homes not shown one across the street . also worth nothing they had a house on edisto island and numerous other properties on the coastal waterway

    I appreciate this video showing the relationship of crime scenes to one another;however, it made me weep. I have two children in their 20's, and I can completely understand why Maggie ran toward Paul. I can only pray that within the 5 seconds before she died she didnt realize what had happened to her baby. and who had murdered him. Alex Murdaugh is one of the most evil people to come along in a long time. My heart breaks, very especially, for Maggie bc I relate to her as a mama. Alex should have gotten the death penalty. Period. Pure evil should not be allowed to exist in our world.

      Yes, pure evil. When I saw the "prison photos" of him just last week, relaxed, smiling, yawning, it reinforces that belief. There is no grief in this man. I seriously doubt if he even thinks about the son he killed in cold blood. In fact, I think he despises his son even more than when he shot him because of the cell video Paul recorded capturing his father's voice at the kennels. Honest to God, that kind of evil is terrifying.

    there is a small house at the side would be interesting to see if there are security cameras and if so if they record the vehices on the street. Those would also have recorded the hypothetical murderers that came from outside.

      I think that's where the senior lady lives who wore the heart shaped sunglasses to court on Valentine's Day. She said she watched Buster Paul grow up told them kindly but often not to shoot deer on her property. They wld laugh say no not to worry we won't. She also said their dogs wld get free they'd come over ask if she had seen them. Said Maggie was a sweet lady.

    Mom had to witness what he did to their son. The HORROR she must have felt. The description of them both was horrendous!!! OMG! Also hearing the steps they made hiding from him I guess was eerie...what they were doing MOMENTS b4 brutally assassinated.

    Such irony, little metal cages for dogs; now Alex will live in one, but without the nice scenery. You can see from the Google earth pics, opten people would take a driect route across the field straight to the kennels (on ATV?)

      Didn't know the trees blocked the view &I thought the house sat higher up and looked down on the kennels.

      I think this made a big difference for the jurors to see it. I live on a 5-acre mini farm and I can easily hear people on another road when they target shoot. So, this idea that Alex had the tv on and couldn't hear, is not believable.

      @@mtngrl5859 even in city living, we hear gunshots from another street, especially on New Year’s Eve. I can hear gun shots from around the corner miles away

      @@monicarenee7949Yes, that is true. I'm actually referring to many people who have commented on other channels, who were surprised at the verdict. Being someone that lives semi-rurally, I always know when a stranger is approaching my property. I have multiple dogs, they actually can detect by just the sound of the vehicle, is it a car they know. I think the visit to the property helped the jurors and judge, see how close everything was.

    Could those two guns he used fit inside that pale wooden doghouse?
    Because wouldn't it have alerted the two victims if he came driving up in the golf cart with two guns?
    Seems as if he had stashed those guns ahead of time, somewhere.

    I felt really sad when I saw the house. You see remnants of Maggie still there with rocking chairs on the porch and flower pots, ect. Just too sad for words.

    That is an insane amount of land. Me, looking around and thinking about all of the great things that could have been developed on this property. I hope the new owners have some vision. It needs some sprucing up but if put to good use? It can support a large family, some of the neighborhood.
