Thank you very much for this brilliant video. I did my TB and BS belts a few months back and installed a manual tensioner too. I did not however change my crank seal or the BS seal. They're both weeping and it's driving me nuts. I'm gonna get them both done over the next couple of months and put less tension on both belts while I'm at it.
I too am a bit surprised you didn't remove the oil pump to replace the 2 gaskets on on it. I'm also surprised you didn't put the front balance shaft seal retainer on. It's an oem part that Honda made after the seal would walk itself off. Part # 06923-P0A-306
You don’t need the balance shaft belt? Damn I just bought one….thank you for the whole video though, I wish you did some oil pump work though I think mine is leaking from its old Honda bond
I believe the oil pump pickup has a gasket that can be replaced, but I didn't mess with that. Did all the other seals on that engine though. Oh - and make sure to do the cam cap seal on distributor side - have to open up my valve cover in order to do so...
Great detail and video! Any plans on painting the block? That's the only thing I wish I would've done before finishing my H swap. Took the motor out painted it and it made the engine bay loos so much better! Can't wait to see that cb9 going!
Thanks. I'll do some cleaning on it, but not going to paint the block. Not really looking for a showcar engine bay. I've seen a lot of re-painted transmissions and engine blocks and some can look really awful and an afterthought.

Love from Morocco brother ❤
The most detailed video I've seen yet (the best). Awesome job! I've learnt so much from you man.
Great video, very well explained and implemented.

I opted not to use the balance shaft belt. The seal was replaced but that shaft will not be turning anymore.
Great video again can u tell me where do u get all u gaskets
Also, how did leaving off the balance shaft belt work out for you please?

Hi! How did you remove the crank sprocket? Mine doesn't budge
