Mine keeps coming loose and making my truck sound like it has something wrong with it.
thank you so much
Didin't anyone notice that car is Air Conditioned?
Hi, Great video, my exact truck. Can you confirm you applied LLumar brand and that it was 20% Ceramic? According to their site now, there is no Ceramic tint available in 20%. It would be great if you can post the tint line, i.e. FormulaOne Pinnacle. I want my truck to look as good as yours, Thanks!
@@nicksimon7255 CTX series 20% ceramic it looks like based on the wall display at the tint shop.
@@randomrebuilds Thank for the quick reply to a 1 year old post. The CTX display shows 50, 35 and 15 to illustrate the differences. Maybe you got 25? Don’t mean to belabor but I’ve had two tint matching experiences go very badly.
I have the same issues in my house. Thanks for that information!!
Any engine noise after installing all equipment?
@@bryanbroyles2472 no engine noise that I can hear. Just a clear stereo.
Since I want to do a 5 lug swap on my cb7 with the same 98-99 accord rotors. Do you know if the RL Brake calipers will fit with the V6 accord rotors? Or will I need to get the odyssey rotors ?
consider getting the locking nuts for the wing as well because the nuts it comes with from factory are easy to remove by anyone that wants to take your wing
You guys buy a lot of cars… just saying
Most of those plastic housing drain tools are threaded so you don’t have to hold it, don’t always work though, but the concept of what they do is great
Looks better than the bodies that replaced them until the new grill design. Puts all X6 and 3 series GTs to shame. Both of the those 2 are wastes. The greenhouse is too tall.
Had an ‘92 e34 525i. Great driving machine . Did deal with perpetual oil leaks from filter housing, engine oil pan, valve cover…. Need to also keep on eye on the cooling system - radiator and water pump.
Did you need to do alignment after?
Yes - alignment was way off.
Wheel locks are for wankers and 🐈
Fort these cars to be so expensive, just to end up in a junk yard and not parted.
Cost to much to repair
Dealers want you to finance with them due to they markup the interest rate that the bank offers and make money from there
NRA FTW ! Lots of good advise... 5.39% for 72 months and below MSRP. The only thing i do not agree on is dropping $35K down payment as you can make that money work for you in investments and can generate passive income for you. Plus gives you the flexibility if you need the cash. Can confirm that even on a full coverage insurance its anywhere between $100-110 per month
The original vtec solenoid looked in better shape and im pretty sure they're exactly the same part but the jdm just has a block off bolt for the vtec pressure switch hole, might be worth seeing if you can just take that bolt off and thread in a vtec pressure switch into the JDM vtec solenoid housing to anyone whos doing this swap!
Overall, is it OK to keep driving with her whiny power steering because I don’t want to fix it. I don’t have much money.
These small mods make a big difference for the interior protection .
Sad
They were part of the kit (not purchased separately). Might I have the blades upside down?
That’s such a great feeling
That is a nice tradition to surprise each other with new cars - your parents seemed happy and surprised. Families enjoying each other's success is important.
My blades appears to scrape against the plastic mold. Any ideas? All OEM parts from the dealer
I’d guess that the blades are a hair too long
Please do a 6 month update on those floor mats. They look pretty good, I hope they hold up.
Added to the list of video ideas…
Just got back from taking mine out for a weekend drive. How did you mount the front plate to the grill? Did you buy something or just make something work?
Why not do what you did to the 2nd O-Ring at 8:07 in like you didn't to the 1st O-Ring?
I feel like the grey will hold up better over time.
Might as well get a locking lug nut for all 5 per wheel! 🔒
Overpriced and low power car for the money
To each their own. It's the ultimate front wheel drive car and always puts a smile on my face when I take it for a drive.
Mad cause you don’t got a nice car like us 😂
326 horsepower on a FWD car that’s reliable and practical to do errands on the weekdays and have fun on the weekends. For reference: This car is about as good as an R32 - R34 Skyline GTR stock… in a 4-cylinder. Honda is justified with the MSRP as they’re shifting towards hybrid and electric vehicles. So making this Type R was out of the way for them.
First 😂
I love the new series on the CTR
I should have had you grab the speedometer as well! The speedometer is a 91 wagon only! The 55 coloration is beautiful!
how is the daily driving on the CTR? Im in a similar situation; looking to buy a manual sports touring for daily use but also really love the wide body design on the CTR and I would really love to own one... the pricing situation is what's holding me back and it's quite a bit more money than I can afford at the moment.
I’ll have to do a video on the ownership/driving experiences down the road. But the ownership and driving this car has been amazing so far. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase.
@@randomrebuilds Awesome, looking forward to that video. Also, do you do your own maintenance or do you take it in? If so, how much would you say you have spent on maintenance?
What yard is that
I almost cried 😢😢
O ya
Probably the least desired trim level, but looks like a lot of good parts
My 2002 RSX type S and I have been together for 20 years. 240k miles so far. Premium white pearl with all the upgrades. Love this car so much and still have fun driving it everyday.
this is almost exactly my CB9 to the tee minus the flares and mine has '92 integra gsr wheels
Also grab the 3rd brake light cover if complete. The clips fall out easily!
Definitely grab that cluster! Those are very hard to come by. Would be a perfect swap for your CB9!
Sir i want 1993 headlights both buamper back lights sttering weel munanal gear lever & dashbord and degi paking ?
That shouldn't be there. Someone needs to buy this and give it a second chance. H swap it or something
this is going to be me in about 8 years from now, another midlife crisis to buy another sports car lol
Junk when new...
Passenger airbag went off but the driver’s didn’t? That’s a first for me
Cool vid and great tradition of surprising each other with new car purchases. I bought a Champ White FL5 2 months ago. This car is so much fun to drive and always puts a smile on my face. Your parents are awesome. I used to own a 2001 RSX TYpe S. Man I loved that car. Don't ever let it go unless it dies.
Shouldve grabbed those rims
