The biggest difference is that it won't run GameCube games like a normal Wii. Glad I found your Goodwill video, I'm enjoying your channel! Edit: I guess yours won't run normal Wii games either, lol

Major props for recycling them back to Goodwill after all that driving and gas. I would've probably selfishly organized them on a shelf never to be played again. Props.
Saying that Borderlands 2 reminds you of Apex Legends should be a criminal offense. However, introducing the world to the Bass Fishing tackle box music made up for it.
The Kamen Rider game is based on the show Kamen Rider Ryuki! Its on Tubi for free; I recommend it so much. It gets pretty dark, and the action is so cool.
And unlike Saban's terrible attempt at adapting Kamen Rider Black RX into Masked Rider, Dragon Knight is actually pretty decent for the time it came out. Sure, it feels like a lesser Smallville, but it was fun.
We Ski is by far one of the best Wii Games you picked up. You didn’t really give it a chance, there are tons of hidden areas in the map, many side quests, and an open world map with a multitude of friends to meet along the way.

I found this channel earlier today with the goodwill vidéo and was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a part where the games were played. But then I just got surprised with the follow up video on the same day 😄
that family guy back to the multiverse is rare. it was removed from steam. I see used copies going for $70 on console. Try getting some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to clean the discs. Well seen you dropped it all off at the goodwill so nvm.
Only a few years ago I first played Heavy Rain with a PS3 I bought super cheap, I was just so intrigued with it. I will 100% recommend it to anyone, it is just so cool lol
What a great follow-up video to the Goodwill hunt. Would love to see you do this for other different thrift stores like mom & pop owned ones around Florida or even visiting every GameStop in Florida and getting a single game from them.
I like that you not only gave goodwill a chance but also played every game you purchased. As far as finding entertainment in the form of video games from goodwill, mission accomplished!
There totally was a perspective shift when you switched to third person in that Star Wars game. Watch closely, and you can see the space rock or whatever that is shift slightly when you press the button. It's not a dramatic shift, but considering how relatively far away it is, the perspective shift wouldn't be that dramatic. Anyway, great video!
As a Melee and 64 grow-upper, Brawl is eeeeehhhh. Project M, though? Excellent. It let me play as Buster Blader. I will concede that Brawl easily has the most appealing single-player story mode. Also, really enjoy they used Miis in Madden Wii.
I want to actually believe he didn't know what prop hunt was, but honestly, it was everywhere in multiple different games that are "too old" now, so that was probably just a quirky jab.
Now I know why he had that disclaimer at the beginning; He crapped on every single game here, but two. I didn't expect in depth reviews of every single title, but if you're just going to be doing first impressions, maybe don't be as anal about taste.
Just getting started but had to make a quick note. I've heard soooo many good things about the Lego games, particularly the Lego Star Wars, so I felt really bummed when I picked up Star Wars TCS and the games felt so samey. And I couldn't believe there's literally no penalties. So now seeing Lego Pirates is almost the same as Lego Star Wars and I'm glad I didn't buy any of the others.
I used to play tons of LEGO games but eventually I hit a point where I felt super burnt out & just sorta stopped. Yeah, I was more into the 2010’s games where the characters started to talk & they slowly brought in some new mechanics to each new one, but it wasn’t enough to keep me from getting tired eventually. It certainly was a problem with those games, but I know that many kids really enjoyed them :)
The fun in those games come more from finding collectibles and unlocking characters, as the intended audience is young children so the challenge level is always kept to a minimum. They're good, but formulaic and repetitive.
@@theidiotchildren agree with you and bluedash. They still are fun but I guess I was just hoping better and over 6 games that some mechanics would change a bit more.

No third party I bought ever even came close, despite modifying the spring strength and other things myself after buying them. The biggest problem I have with the Wii gun games is that you can't actually aim down the sight, it aims more in the arc of a grenade launcher, you're always pointing way off from where the shots would actually go from a real gun, and I grew up on the NES Zapper which used plastic iron sights that actually functioned like a real gun for aiming. Other than that though, it captures a lot of the fun of arcade shooters with those big plastic guns, and it's much more compact and functional than the Super Scope. The Wii Zapper is the final evolution of the light gun in modern console terms, and it deserves your respect.

If you end up getting into the kamen rider franchise would love to hear about that (which isn't easy given most of it you have to rely on finding fansubs for but there are a small handful of series that have legal free and official subtitles)
Far Cry 3 is great. I couldn't stop playing it back when it was relatively new. I never played any of the Far Cry games before that, or after. When you defeat an enemy base, then the friendly NPCs take over. Sometimes I would make my character a "psycho killer" and then annihilate the friendlies. ha haha ha! This process is a nightmare, I played every AC game when I was little, from the first one up to this one. And even as a 15 year old I noticed just how slow this game was, the "old guy in the past" prologue part can take you as long to complete as an entire playthrough of the first game, I wish I was kidding.
