Can you record without the screen information i had my first flight with this set up yesterday. Great fun but couldn't get just the video footage without everything on the goggles screen
One major limitation flying with motion controller and goggles is the limited video recording on m3 pro. It wont use your regular settings and you cant record in D-Cinelike or 4k. These options are there in goggles menu for Avata, but not for mini. Makes no sense to me but if i were sceptical, i think its because it overlaps too much with Avata and if you can fly your m3 pro 30+ mph in fpv mode at 4k 60, why would you want the Avata.
I agree... this is not meant to make anyone look like a pro. There is huge potential if they let us use the controller and all that the Mini 3 Pro has to offer.
Sounds like DJI has some work to do for a smoother integration. I tried to get Kelly's Mini 3 Pro to link up with his Goggles 2, but since he hasn't purchased the motion 2, I can't seem to get very far in the process. Strange that the message on your phone doesn't show in your goggles too.
Hey thanks for the cool video. Did they do any updates on this or is it still as buggy? Also I’m guessing you can’t use any of the mini pro 3 quick shot features with goggles on? Thanks from Scotland 🏴
You may need to di fcc hack on your goggles if you're cutting out at short range. It is very easy. Rotor riot and mads tech both have explanations and the file you will need. I did my integra goggles last night. Mine were in CE mode with only a few channels. Now in fcc and a bunch more channels. I am using mine with 03 units but i have a mini 3 pro and have had them connected before. I recently got my goggles and have not experimented yet. I thought it was weird. Liked the controller screen better. Wish i had that for the 03 air units 🤣 🤔 i am using expresslrs with those. Cool video man. I will definitely give it another try 😁 i just got a Geprc cinebot 25S. Very cool little drone but i am having trouble with the whole goggle deal. No hover in place or sensors sucks 🤣
Hi Shawn. I say the same as you when it comes to flying the other DJI drones with the goggles and controller. Fly the camera drone the way it was intended and fly the AVATA with this. Fine video
There are advantages to having this option on the mini 3 pro. Not everyone can afford the Avanta for $800 more. So do what you do and I’ll do what I do.
Hey, somebody stole the fence around your yard! You probably got to go fly your drone and try to find out who took it. Thanks for the flight. I was debating whether to buy the motion controller 2 so that I could fly my mini 3 Pro that way, but I think I'll take your advice and take a pass on it instead
If you have the AVATA… the Mini 3 Pro is a step down in experience. Even though the camera is sharper… the gimbal movement bouncing back to horizon looks robotic. If the Mini 3 Pro is all you have, then this is a fun addition… once you get it to work. :)
Hi shawn. Is a mobile phone essential to using integra with mini3 pro? U mentioned notifications go to the app on your phone and not the goggles. I rarely have phone data covrrage in areas i fly. Will this be a problem ? I also saw shaun the drone mention a mobile phone seems to be essential to updating firmware on the goggles and controller. Did u need to use a mobile app for that too?
Hey Kate... I have the Goggles 2 which do not have GPS in them. I have to have them plugged in to my phone for Remote ID purposes. The Integras (according to others) do not require to be tethered. With that said... I believe the phone is necessary to update your various firmware. I always do that at home before I go out. It has taken half a battery for me in the past to update. It stinks updating in the field, but if you don't have internet... it doesn't know it needs to update:) Thanks for watching!
OK I'll be the one to say it... Flying that low over other people's homes and yards is rude. I've owned 2 DJI drones and I get the fun but I also know it's not comfortable to find a drone buzzing over your head, especially now many have zoom cameras and can turn the gimbal at will. If me I'd probably just wave but plenty of people get upset, with some keen to find an excuse to get positively mad. Already here in Malaysia it's illegal to fly within 50 meters of someone's house, and such laws come about precisely due to people flying like this. Rightly or wrongly, people feel you're trespassing when you fly low over their back garden with a camera drone video-recording them and their property, especially if you circle back round a few times like you did here. Don't bite the messenger; I'm just sayin'.
Thank you for your comment. I will discuss this tonight in my livestream and get everyone’s opinion. If you watch my channel, I rarely fly over people, and I never fly in restricted airspace. My videos are posted on our neighborhood Facebook page, and I have never received any negative feedback from neighbors. Just the opposite actually. It sounds like Malaysia has some strict rules and that sucks. I wish you blessings and hope you watch my channel some more. I checked out your Hover X1 video.. looked cool!
When I tried the Mini 3 pro with the motion controller just didn’t feel like an FPV flight, but I did like the way the drone moves

Haha going to the 2nd battery Shawn says let’s get back up in the air yall. Fun flights Shawn.
It’s good you showed the glitches.
Ha… thanks, Bob! It was a fun, yet finicky flight.

yeah... I hope they let us use the controller with the goggles in a firmware update.

I love how you say don't do this. And then you immediately fly it again after...😅
Is it the best way to order it directly from DJI in China? No taxes to pay? What is the delay?

i do recommend using a propeller guard for mini3 pro I have the same setup and save a lot of headace because of that
So is remoteid required for this even though it's sub250g?
So if I already have a mini 3 or 4 can I just buy these goggles and I’ll be all set to go FPV? Thanks.
You need the goggles and the motion controller 2. The RC will not work.
Hey, can you fly the mini pro 3 in vertical camera mode while using the goggles integra and motion2??
No you cannot

Yeah... it's still cool that you can do it.

Hi, in Goggles is limitation of maximal altitude above start point. How many of maximal altitude you can set ?

@@ShawnFoxhorn I've got the Avata & loving it
Do these Integra Goggles record voice? Good video btw
No… I generally screen record on my iPhone and use that for my commentary

Not to be an asshole, but this entire neighboorhood looks like a liminal place.
Your neighborhood man... it's just the worst.
