Just done it. Sold my Mini 3 Pro and upgraded like for like for £280 net. Excited. There are a lot of upgrades for beginner drone flyers (I never get enough flying minutes to improve but I believe the features with this will improve my content. A lot!

I was already planning on picking up a spare Mini 3 Pro airframe. Now I get a spare airframe & a nice suite of upgraded features. Ordered the Miini 4 Pro FlyMore Plus package with 2-year care refresh. The Waypoints are something I've been wanting in a Mini series model. O4, 360° OA, & the landing LED are icing on the cake. Best part if it costs $1 more than I spent on Mini 3 Pro & FlyMore Plus kit.
Sideways obstacle avoidance, much higher dynamic range with LOG, better transmission range and reliability, waypoints, 4k100p, night mode, little things like propeller guards, there's a lot to like! - I ordered the Mini 3 Pro but cancelled and orders the Mini 4 Pro as these are worthwhile updates. If I had the Mini 3 Pro I probably wouldn't upgrade though.
I have a mini 2 and just purchased a mini 4 pro. The extra features are excellent but the RC2 really sold me. No more phone! I’ll let my son fly the mini 2. Subscribed!
Good review - the price difference isn't that large to buy the Mini 3 over the 4 for a first time buyer - especially the sensors and landing legs for me are a game changer
I bought mine knowing full well the 4 was coming soon along with a bigger sticker price. If you're using your drone commercially it might be worth investigating but the 3 pro is damn impressive and is more than i need recreationally.
Nice overview Darren. Simplifying it and showing all the changes is great value to see. So both my drones are now outdated!!! What I think DJI are in danger of here is falling into the same trap as the PC and smartphone markets did. If they make too little changes too often and then use OS and software to effectively lock features out that, quite frankly, the older drones could easily have, then people will just give up, stick with what they have and stop buying new drones. Thats why people don;t buy a new phone every year now. In fact they buy one nearer to every 3 years now and PC's people keep for years!! I for one would love to upgrade to the Air 3 and mini Pro 4 but I just can't keep up any more!!! By the time i've sold my drones, lost money on them and bought new ones with the new controllers, i'm going to be severely out of pocket and it'll literally be a few months before the next one comes out!!! I think this new model will only serve to make me keep what I have for a lot longer now. Lack of sensors makes you a better drone pilot BTW!
I agree, they're falling into the same Corporation sinkhole traps of the "Latest & Greatest" trend. Where you have to buy the "New & Improved" for 5 new features they could've easily given the older models with an update. I say they should've given the Mini 3 a 3 to 6 year run first.
Quick correction here, the batteries are NOT the same. While the Mini 3 battery will work on the Mini 4, it will throw it above 250g, and give it less range than the Mini 4 battery, which, on paper, has slightly more capacity despite being a couple grams lighter. The plus battery is the same for both tho.
Great video and thanks for your time. I have a Mini 2 and I upgraded to the mini 4 which I just received. I haven't flown it yet, this is why I am watching UA-cam videos but I love the mini 2 and don't plan on getting rid of it.
I don’t think I would have upgraded if I didn’t purchase it less than a month ago. The upgrade makes sense and the cost is not a big gap (although I got the mini 3 pro on sale on Amazon) can’t wait to get mine this week thanks for the reviews. New subscriber
Tough to see this come out so soon after buying the Mini 3 Pro, but the hardest part is paying $300 for the RC controller only to find is I that is no good if I do upgrade.
I have had the Mini 2 for nearly two years and I love it, is a great drone. I wanted to upgrade but DJI was pumping out new drones it seems as soon as you blinked your eyes. I was going to pull the trigger on the Mini 3 Pro but then the Air 3 was released. Then there was rumor of a Mini 4 Pro. And, here it is. It was time for me to upgrade. What made the Mini 4 Pro attractive was its “mini” form factor and many features the Mini 2 does not have. I ordered the Mini 4 Pro Fly More and look forward to flying. (I am keeping me Mini 2, tho’) Great review.
For me when I have the money to upgrade from my Mini 2, this would he a no brainer. But for now, I love my Mini 2 and still get enjoyment in flying it and taking pictures and videos with it. 😊
Still have the mini 2. I'm convinced. I'm upgrading to the mini 4 pro. Feature packed, amazing controller. Most of all for me. A much stronger signal! Hate watching the bars drop on my mini 2 when flying over a big lake.
Well being a fan of the mini series drones since conception I think I will be holding onto my Mini 3 Pro. I used these mini drones to attain my licence and now I’ll be stepping up to the Air 3. The Mini 4 Pro is the perfect drone for anyone jumping into the sport and requires all the new equipment to get rolling. I spent a lot of money on the RC Pro and it’s use on multiple drones, so now its time to move into the big boy territory. Awsum review Darren on this new drone.
@@DMProductions oh I’ll be holding onto my Mini 3 Pro, it’s the perfect travel drone and fills my needs. I love your review of the Air 3 and it’s multi camera setup so it’s time for an additional drone.
I bought the Mini 3 Pro last week having read online that Mini 4 pro might not be coming out till next year. The 4 Pro looks like a great drone but somewhat feel that the upgrades in terms of my use case are marginal. However, I’m thankful I bought the Pro over the standard as I feel there is a real difference between the regular Mini 3 and 4 Pro.
Great review and many thanks for posting; I believe you covered the "fit for purpose" for casual / more dedicated Drone flyers; for those us that are using these Drones for Content specific social media productions; both do the job admirably; as an EG; I switch off all obstacle avoidance as we cant get the tight shots required if its enabled; we also use these later DJI Minis for our "Risk Drones"; specifically, if we are looking for a few seconds of "risk footage" the Inspire 2 Pro stays on the ground !!!!!
I was hesitant to upgrade to the Mini 3 but now I am convinced I need the Mini 4 Pro. I will upgrade, but first I will wait for the initial launch, wait for a Black Friday deal and then get it. Meanwhile, I will finally put my Mini 2 up for sale!
I am sticking with the mini 3 pro. The 4k 60fps HDR and the color profiles are great of the mini 4, but the upgrade I am actually looking for is to be able to zoom in 3x in 4k. Maybe a dual camera for the mini 5?
Just sold my mini 3 pro today and got a good price for it, the additional features of the 4 pro were all things I was longing for in the mini 3 pro, especially the additional range in the RC2. The controller alone was enough for me to consider the upgrade. Factor the good resale value the 3 pro still holds, I didn't hesitate
@@crerar01I believe the Mini 4 pro is only compatible with the RC-2 and the RC-N2 controller it, but the better antennas/distance, and chip upgrades (making the controller quicker and smoother) are worth it alone.
I am still flying a mini2, and even for commercial projects, but I will be upgrading this year because of RID in the US. Right now I am most likely getting an Air 3, but the Mini 4 pro is very interesting. I travel a bit for projects and sometimes smaller is better, but the flexibility of 2 focal lengths, and better wind resistance is important too. I have a ittle time to decide, but I need to figure it out soonish.
Definitely get the air 3 I got it about a month ago it's really quite amazing I'd honestly just stick with the Mini 3 Pro if you had that already but the are three with the Stacked sensor and the zoom camera and the longer battery and the resistance to win the game changer for me it was either that are 3 or the mavic 3 Pro but I didn't have that kind of money
I do Real Estate imaging for a living and the Air3 is perfection. You will find that the Mini line, while smaller and a bit more discreet, pales in comparison in the wind for getting steady footage and in some cases whether the motors are even strong enough for you to fly without losing the uav entirely.
Great video! I bought the mini 3 pro and hadn't even flown it when the mini 4 pro came out. I was on the fence about upgrading until I saw your comparison. The main selling point for me is the 360 degree obstacle avoidance since I am a new drone pilot. I will be strictly recreational (at least for the immediate future). I also bought the Integra FPV goggles and I assume they will be compatible with the mini 4 pro. Thanks again for the great video!
I'm glad I waited. I still have the Mini 2 and I was just about to buy the Mini 3 Pro when this came out so I'm going straight to the Mini 4. Thanks Darren for the review video.
@DMProductions I'm gone for a while from UA-cam, now come back to this!! I had to check out the Mini 4 Pro from seeing my notifications, and Darren as always you give a great review! Now I'm retooling my plans, and now it's the Mini 4 I'm looking at. Thanks much! Cheers!!!
I was so excited about the Mini 3 Pro, I clicked on it the moment it was available on DJI site. Its still fresh to me and selling it now its at a quite big loss, regardless if I’m casual or active pilot. I got all the accesories on it, 2 different remotes , there is no way convenient to sell it now. Yes, the Mini 4 Pro is far better in terms of features, and the new RC 2 BUT thats in my opinion for people who skipped the Mini 3 Pro. Professionals use the big drones and they only use the Mini 3/4 Pro in certains situation, for portability during familly holidays for example or just flying for fun.I don’t think is time for upgrade if we want to save our money considering the times we’re living now. Im happy for people who don’t own the Mini 3 Pro because its time for them to upgrade and for the ones who can afford to upgrade so often. I wish I could but its more important to spend responsible!
stick with my 3 pro, the fly more combo price of the new one is insane. If the RC2 controller on the 3 pro worked with the 4 pro I may have been tempted to get the drone only. Given it's not compatible is a bit of a bummer. will wait until series 5 of this drone and see what's new.
I think if I was going sub 250 for the first time, yes, it would be a no brainer. Having looked at all the specs on the DJI website, no, I think I'll stick with the M3P. I've just upgraded my computer, so I can now run Da Vinci Resolve and this opens up a whole new world for me, with the Mini 3 Pro. Maybe next time.
great video and points and I think people easily underestimate everything the drone can do in conjunction with the DJI FLY updates (such as the AR features etc). It's mind-blowingly phenomenal what the drone can do. I will buy this, selling my Air 2S, which will leave me with the mini 2, mini 4 pro and mavic 3 (2 lenses). Unfortunately the 2S no longer has a home as when I want better sensor I go for the M3 (based in the US). When I need small (EASA cat 0, travel, etc) I have gone for the mini 2 but the mini 4 is a huge increase from there (sensor and features). Despite the 2S being awesome with its 1" sensor that takes really nice images, the 4pro won't be far off that and if I need the M4:3 sensor and can do it, I'll go for the M3. Would sell the mini 2 but not sure I'll get enough to warrant it (although it can't fly under my 107 so it's a bit stuck as well). cheers!
I like how you script your videos and the shots + videos you display. Congrats! Related to upgrading from the DJI Mini 3 Pro, I will admit there are a few new cool and useful features but....nope, not gonna happen. The 3pro is barely a year old, still is a fantastic drone that does what the vast majority of mini users truly need, it's already compatible with the Integra / Goggles 2 and MC2, and already has a few apps that are no longer in Beta (ex: Dronelink, which you can use to create waypoints or even more elaborated missions) + it has a lot of great filters which (surprise surprise) don't fit the 4's camera because it is slightly bigger.
Dronelink using Mini 3 Pro is only out of beta when using the RC Pro. Regular RC isn't supported, and even using Mini 3 Pro with the RC-N1 it's basically unusable because it crashes constantly.
Mine arrives tomorrow- super quick shipping! Mini 3 Pro was like a "proof of concept" or "engineering mule" and this "4" is the slick, finished product that sits under the hot lights - looking like a finished product!
Thanks for the good video. The mentioned "feets" are not landing legs or intended for better landing - best to my knowledge they contain extented antennas for Ocusync 4.
Thank you so much for these videos, I’m totally new and this is hard getting into with all the info out there. Thank you for making it easier to consume!
hi friend.. now i have mini 2 since 2021..now with all the explanations you have given, i will 100% definitely upgrade to mini 4 pro.. thank you sir for the very interesting info.. like it so much..🥰🥰🥰
Yep I’m waiting too , main thing for me is image quality , should be within the ability to match Apples 48mb standard lens , which is awesome , if it can match that then no need for M43rds .
Nice video. Very informative and easy to watch. I'm still debating whether to upgrade now. I essentially fly my drone daily and mostly take photographs. The omnidirectional sensors are likely the biggest draw for me....and the promise of better reception.
Hello, thanks for this comprehensive review. However, I learned that the max altitude of the Mini 4 PRO is limited to 120 m(at least in Europe in order to comply with the C0 rule), which is a big problem in a mountain area. Do you confirm this? If Yes, this is a big show stopper...!!
Thank for compare, i just crash my mini 3pro yesterday, it’s help decide to find mini 3 pro again with all my batteries and nd filters and fly more, but mini 4 pro with new antennas hope it’s make signal much better, honestly signal in mini 3 pro lost all the time when I’m flying 300 meters
I just recently purchased the mini 3 pro version. This is just a marketing ploy from dji, the improvements are only software, all this could be improved by firmware also in version 3 pro. I don't see any technical improvements, such as video sensor size or another better sensor, just 360 degree obstacle sensors, but as a professional drone pilot I don't need them at all.
Great video! I have a different drone now and plan on upgrading to a DJI. I was on the fence of the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro. Thanks to this video covering all of the differences, I now know I want the mini 4 pro.
Amazing they released again cant wait to get one, i have the mini 2 , and i think getting the mini 4 pro would benefit me most. I was about to buy the DJI mini 3 pro last year and thank God I’ve missed that opportunity and looking forward to DJI mini 4 pro! Great review as always! Thanks man!
Thank you for the info, very useful. Use the drone for my landscape-photography most of the time. Found , in the contrary some people are claiming, more detail in the 48mp images. Easy to control if you take pictures with little text. On the downside yes there is more noise and less DR…but no brainer if you know this. Make manual HDR when needed but not easy and not always successful. So come to my question: is the 48mp resolution also available for HDR and pano’s or is it still only available for 12mp resolution. Thank you
I've got the mini 2 and love it..I've got 35 videos up on UA-cam now and have travelled around the country with it over the last 6 months..I'm really considering buying it for better photos and learning about wavepoints etc..very informative video thanks
Excellent presentation.😊 I currently have the DJI Standard 3 but can't really utilize it when traveling because it would be an added luggage cost. So I was in the market for a mini 3 pro when I realized that the mini 4 was out now. I believe I will move forward with the 4. I wonder if the price will go down for the holidays?
If I'm just starting out and am focused more on the camera , is it worth buying the 4 or is it ok with the 3? I found a used mini pro 3 for 600usd with fly more kid with rc controller,,,, and the mini 4 pro is minimum 1000usd. What do you think?
As a M3P owner i skip the 4 - i´m using the 3 for my commercial and private work - i do not see the need for this "upgrade" - i don´t need all these new features or can`t use because of regulations 😂 - M3P is a beast so i stick to it 👍 - Great Video ✌
nice overview... thanks for that ... question: does the active tracking also work in 4k50 / 4k60 since tracking and stuff did not work in those frame rates with the mini3 pro
Hi Darren For me it's not enough to justify upgrade from the Mini3 to the Mini4. If I would upgrade it would be to the Air3 . In EASA countries a C1 is better than a C0. If I buy the Air3 I keep the Mini3 Pro for my travels outside EASA.
I Didn't see enough change to justify the upgrade. The Mini 3 is Barely a Year and 2 months old (i pre ordered and go it like July 7th or something)...Only major difference that matters is the side sensors but I've gon this long without it so I'll probably just wait on the mini 5
Great video man! Quick question, I have a mini 2, I am not a professional flyer, I just occasionally like to take the drone out, looking at the Fly More combo($1099 US) and the Fly More combo plus($1159 US) is it worth it going all out and getting the fly more combo plus since it includes the new 45-minute battery? Or just go with the fly more combo and wait until the new battery hits eBay for half the price?
Stay with your mini2 or buy an old Mavic Air 2 were it is cheaper and much better with the wind. Combo? hmmm batteries at 4yrs would die on you. If your an occasional flyer one or two batteries is enough.
I believe that if you use the mini 3 pro battery in the mini 4 pro it takes the drone over 250g due to a slight difference in the battery weight. Can you verify the weight of the mini 4 pro with the mini 3 battery installed? Additionally is the mini 4 compatible with DJI goggles in the same way the mini 3 pro is?
Great review of the Mini 4 Pro... Love the features but won't make the leap because I'm fine with my current fleet (Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro, Mavic 3 & Avata) and the fact that 75% will work on my DJI RC Pro. Too much invested in the RC Pro which I’ll never do again seeing that DJI won't firmware it only pushing newer and lessor quality controllers! All about their $$$$. Saving mine! Thanks for sharing!👍@384
Very interesting! I do have the Mini 2. With all the Extras. Which I love! Other than when it’s hot outside and my phone screen goes dark. But it is Hard not to want the Mini 4 Pro. Hmmm 🤨
Im still using mini 2, but for just using the drone for aerial photography is there a major difference in image quality between the 3 and 4, just might get a mini 3 pro at a discounted price
I still have my mini 3 pro. I bought it in Jan this year. The addition features they have on the mini 4 are not that important to me. I usually use my mini 3 mostly when I go on vacation. I still love it. So I won’t be upgrading for the mini 4, maybe I’ll just wait 2 years later and see if DJI comes out with the mini 6 Pro or any new model. Anyway, thanks for for the video and looking forward to the next on. Take care! Cheers. Ps: Is the mini 3 pro compatible with the RC2 controller?
I’m planning to upgrade from dji2 to dji3 or 4. Im looking to take night mode videos and Timelap. Is it worth to do. And my biggest concern is will it be easy for me to fly and learn new features easily. Is it used same app.
The batteries have different product number, capacity, and weight! DJI stripped 3g from the batteries to still get below 250g MTOM. If you mount the M3P batteries into the M4P it weighs around 252g and legally isn't a C0 or sub-250g drone anymore. Btw. my C1 certified Mavic 3 weighs slightly over 900g, do not ask me why. I also do not ask questions. In reality no one will I suppose.
I have the original mini and I have the mini 3 pro with rc, I will also be waiting for the mini 5 to come out. love your insight and the information that you share, very helpful in making up my mind. cheers
Great reviewI have two Mini 3s, and just got a Mini 4 Pro Fly/More Plus because I knew I’d want it because of all the differences, mainly obstacle avoidance! Haven’t unboxed it yet, saving it as a reward after this Thanksgiving holiday. Either way, they are my escape from life’s issues because it requires my undivided attention! A blessing for sure! Stay great Sir! Thanks for the support!
Hi....active track is working is the gps signal is lost? I wonder because i have to shoot a video indoor....for a wedding, thank you? I love your video.....very useful😍
I have the Pro 3 but just have to have the 4, I'm not a mobile phone geek so dont change very often but drones are something different. Ordered Pro 4 today will the pro 3 next. Cant wait
I currently have the Dji mini 2 (my first ever drone). I’m not looking for upgrade for now. But if I do I’ll probably be skipping the Mini 3 Pro and just go straight to the Mini 4 Pro
Could you please test if ND filters for the mini 3 will fit the mini 4? They look like they should but waiting to hear it from someone that can test it. Thanks.
I think they will not fit. I saw a photo from the camera without the lens cap and the socket pins (not sure how it's called in English) are slightly different. the one of the vertical center on the right side of the drone. (where there are 3 pins)
100% happy with my mini3pro.. would love the new 4pro but dont think i can justify it atm 🙈😂 Anyone know if the freewell lens filters from the mini3 will fit the mini4 pro.. ??
Crashed my Mini 3 Pro and was wondering if to buy the 3 Pro again or shall I go for the 4 Pro? You've helped with that decision, thank you! Baked beans and noodles for a month here I come.
I bought the Mini Pro 3 just 2 weeks before the 4 was released, kicking myself. I am thinking about the Mavic Pro, but don’t want the same to happen. Any ideas about the release date for the Mavic Pro 4? Great vid, thanks for the useful info.
In europe.. the air 3 and mini 4 pro does not let you use the auxilery light manualy, there it only works automaticaly. Also the mini 4 batteryes are slightly lighter, if you use mini 3 battery on mini 4 pro, the 249g weight will go over 250g
@@DMProductions i contacted dji yesterday about it. And they told me and showed me the laws in eu about the light. Told me that when i take my drone outside eu, i will have the option to use it manualy
The battery weights are different, though. The lightweight battery for the mini 3 Pro weighs (80.5 grams) whereas the lightweight battery for the mini 4 Pro weighs (77.4 grams). This will up the weight of the min 4 Pro to more than 250 grams. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have a mini 2 and it still works great but I want to upgrade and since there are used mini 3 pro's out there I was wondering if I should go that route or get a new mini 4 pro. I think since i've had the mini 2 for a while that I should just get the 4pro and keep that for a while.

What made the Mini 4 Pro attractive was its “mini” form factor and many features the Mini 2 does not have. I ordered the Mini 4 Pro Fly More and look forward to flying. (I am keeping me Mini 2, tho’)
Great review.
I’m in the same boat. I have a mini 2 SE and I’m going to upgrade.
And for the photographers 48MP photo mode now does AEB. It looks like it is only 3 stops (only .7) but is another good added feature.
Wow, thats a game changer for photography.
Awsum review Darren on this new drone.
the time has come, remember tho, once you have access to two or three lenses on a drone it's very hard going back to one....
You can always return it or exchange for the 4 pro. Here in canada they are lile 50 bucks apart
The 4 pro is out right now , return the 3 and get the 4 pro
Yes, I bought my mini 3 pro last Aug 25 a month after seldom use it outdoors I didn't enjoy it yet because I'm working I don't have time 😮
Great review and many thanks for posting; I believe you covered the "fit for purpose" for casual / more dedicated Drone flyers; for those us that are using these Drones for Content specific social media productions; both do the job admirably; as an EG; I switch off all obstacle avoidance as we cant get the tight shots required if its enabled; we also use these later DJI Minis for our "Risk Drones"; specifically, if we are looking for a few seconds of "risk footage" the Inspire 2 Pro stays on the ground !!!!!
I was hesitant to upgrade to the Mini 3 but now I am convinced I need the Mini 4 Pro. I will upgrade, but first I will wait for the initial launch, wait for a Black Friday deal and then get it. Meanwhile, I will finally put my Mini 2 up for sale!
Keep waiting thats the only drone the price wont drop on, which is suck
@@waynenation678 I managed to get €50 off, that is it. And that was after buying additional stuff :)
Where sis you sell it at? I want to upgrade to the 4pro. Does the Mini 3 Pro RC controller work with the 4 Pro?
@@crerar01I believe the Mini 4 pro is only compatible with the RC-2 and the RC-N2 controller it, but the better antennas/distance, and chip upgrades (making the controller quicker and smoother) are worth it alone.
How much you sold if for
@@evananthonybaezI sold it for $750 but I also had the Fly More Plus included.
They might be in the future but the goggles are NOT compatible with the 4, only the 3
I have had the Mini 2 for 3 years now! and its still a beast! I love it! but I think im gonna upgrade to the DJI mini 4 pro :D
Would sell the mini 2 but not sure I'll get enough to warrant it (although it can't fly under my 107 so it's a bit stuck as well). cheers!
I had the original mini and skipped the 2 now on the 3 pro, which was a huge jump from the mini, so I'll probably wait for the 5
I like how you script your videos and the shots + videos you display.
Sure does! It will be a great edition to the fleet!
Yeah and hopefully they'll upgrade the camera also by the 5😂
Thanks for the good video. The mentioned "feets" are not landing legs or intended for better landing - best to my knowledge they contain extented antennas for Ocusync 4.
I subbed :) great content. currently have the mini 3 pro. wish the aperture was not so big because some images come out washed out.
Thank you so much for these videos, I’m totally new and this is hard getting into with all the info out there. Thank you for making it easier to consume!
You are so welcome!
hi friend.. now i have mini 2 since 2021..now with all the explanations you have given, i will 100% definitely upgrade to mini 4 pro.. thank you sir for the very interesting info.. like it so much..🥰🥰🥰
Not enough of an upgrade from the Mini 3 pro. I'll wait for the Mini 5.
You will have to wait 1,5 years or longer

@@ChristiaanRoest79 That's fine. Mini3Pro has been excellent.
@@ChristiaanRoest79 That is around the corner. Time flies my friend. Yesterday was Christmas, in 90 days more you are Christmas again.
@@ChristiaanRoest79 maybe by that time the caa will have stopped scratching their arse, and make those drone regs less of a headache.
Watching this video to buy one for making video about Tenerife and I see that probably you live in Tenerife. Great explanation 👏
The omnidirectional sensors are likely the biggest draw for me....and the promise of better reception.
the rc2 / ocysync 4 is much better!
I've seen that being mentioned on another forum, so the mini 4 is a no for me. Sticking to my mini 3.
Thank you, going to get the Mini 4 Pro because I've never had a drone since the crappy Parrot Bebop and them extra sensors should help me out.
Thanks man!
thank you !
Thank you
Brilliant video Darren, got a text to say my mini 4 Pro comes tomorrow Wednesday plus filters plus 2 year care refresh. ❤
Wednesday will be a good day for you ! Really happy for you !
I've got the mini 2 and love it..I've got 35 videos up on UA-cam now and have travelled around the country with it over the last 6 months..I'm really considering buying it for better photos and learning about wavepoints etc..very informative video thanks
Great to hear!
Well worth it for the extra collision sensors and cruise control alone! I’ll be upgrading 100%
Excellent presentation.😊
I currently have the DJI Standard 3 but can't really utilize it when traveling because it would be an added luggage cost.
Thank you for all the good info, it really helped a lot!!!!
Pleasure !
Yes it does. I have the mini 4 pro i have tested it
Hi Darren
For me it's not enough to justify upgrade from the Mini3 to the Mini4. If I would upgrade it would be to the Air3 . In EASA countries a C1 is better than a C0.
If I buy the Air3 I keep the Mini3 Pro for my travels outside EASA.
Thank you for a comprehensive and straightforward video
Anytime more to come !
Hey great video! But I'm curious about what will be the difference in flying with or without wifi with the mini 4 pro
Always a joy to watch your videos. I will def buy the mini 4 Pro. I owned them all since Mini.
Thank you 🙏. Appreciate that
I believe that if you use the mini 3 pro battery in the mini 4 pro it takes the drone over 250g due to a slight difference in the battery weight.

How does it compare to the air 2 other than the smaller size/weight?
Great video! I was doing my research on which to get between the two and this video made my mind up easily. The 4 Pro it is.
Great video! It’s really helpful as I’m considering upgrading my old DJI Mini. Plenty of insights to ponder.
W Video ! I just subscribed dude thanks !! straight to the point video😊
Awesome thank you
For the sub 250 category,I m staying with the Mini 2.
Photos and videos still look stunning!
What have you found the range diffrence to be in built up areas between the 3 and 4 , many thanks
You're gonna miss all that bright summer time footage on a reward? I couldnt do it lol
Thanks.
Looking for this answer too!!
I think they will not fit. I saw a photo from the camera without the lens cap and the socket pins (not sure how it's called in English) are slightly different. the one of the vertical center on the right side of the drone. (where there are 3 pins)
hey answered this yesterday, so mini 3 filters do not fit the mini 4 pro. One of the first thing I tried
@@DMProductions bummer! Thanks for the confirmation
Great comparison and review, Can you turn off rear flashing lights?
100% happy with my mini3pro.. would love the new 4pro but dont think i can justify it atm 🙈😂
Anyone know if the freewell lens filters from the mini3 will fit the mini4 pro.. ??
I have the mini 3 pro but only had it for 6months so will wait to see if there’s a mini 5 pro
Great video. I have M3P only had it 5 months but love of the sound of this M4P. Might wait a bit maybe until M5P.
Crashed my Mini 3 Pro and was wondering if to buy the 3 Pro again or shall I go for the 4 Pro? You've helped with that decision, thank you! Baked beans and noodles for a month here I come.
for first time buyer is it worth to go for mini pro 4 right away or just buy mini 3 pro
I’ll be upgrading. I have the M3P and the Mavic Zoom. I’m ditching both of them for the M4P.
I bought the Mini Pro 3 just 2 weeks before the 4 was released, kicking myself. I am thinking about the Mavic Pro, but don’t want the same to happen. Any ideas about the release date for the Mavic Pro 4? Great vid, thanks for the useful info.
Also sticking with my mini 3 pro for now. The mini 4 pro does look like a beast though! Great video, thanks mate.
In europe.. the air 3 and mini 4 pro does not let you use the auxilery light manualy, there it only works automaticaly. Also the mini 4 batteryes are slightly lighter, if you use mini 3 battery on mini 4 pro, the 249g weight will go over 250g
The shots I showed were in Tenerife where I could controller the auxiliary light manually.
@@DMProductions i contacted dji yesterday about it. And they told me and showed me the laws in eu about the light. Told me that when i take my drone outside eu, i will have the option to use it manualy
Will the mini 3 pro fly more kit work with the dji mini 4 pro? Not the battery but the blades and bag too?
Great video. What happen with my Dji care that I bought on my mini 3 pro if I upgrade to mini 4 pro?
The battery weights are different, though. The lightweight battery for the mini 3 Pro weighs (80.5 grams) whereas the lightweight battery for the mini 4 Pro weighs (77.4 grams). This will up the weight of the min 4 Pro to more than 250 grams. Please correct me if I am wrong.
If you put the mini3 pro battery into the mini4 pro, yes. 251g.
I heard that using Mini 3 pro batteries are compatible BUT they are heavier and will push you over 250g limit.
How is the quality of plastic and body finish. Any better than mini 3 pro,
I have a mini 2 and it still works great but I want to upgrade and since there are used mini 3 pro's out there I was wondering if I should go that route or get a new mini 4 pro. I think since i've had the mini 2 for a while that I should just get the 4pro and keep that for a while.
