The moment she just described so beautifully when she was outside alone, was the same exact profound moment I had in the early 2000's as a younger man in my early 30s. I was dating a girl from Overbrook Kansas and her family raised buffalo on a rather large farm. One weekend when her parents were out of town, she invited me to spend the night and in the evening, we loaded up a 4-wheeler with blankets and pillows and she took me out to a small berm in the middle of no where on her farm. And there we had a midnight picnic under the stars. I remember laying on my back laying next to her, facing the sky and she started pointing out not only stars and a few planets, but their names as well. She also started to point out satellites that you could just barely see with the naked eye as they raced across the sky. I remember laying there and feeling so small but at the same time, a part of something very special, just so alive, and lucky to be experiencing that moment. It was also terrifying as I felt as if I could fall into the sky. I had to close my eyes out of fear a few times to try and calm my fears and emotions. It was such a beautiful experience. The sky was so dark and you could see everything. There were not borders, no horizon and seemingly, no limits. To this very day, 21 - 22 years later, it is one of my most favorite memories. And on the nights I look into the sky, today at 54 years of age, I am instantly transported back to that night, each and every time.
I can relate to what you wrote as something similar happened to me. It was an overcast day. The sky was grey. The sea was grey. There weren't any waves. I paddled out on my surfboard to wait to see if waves would develop. I must've been out there a few hundred yards offshore for a good hour. 50+ years later I can still feel the sea air and being engulfed by the blue grey colour.
I can’t believe how fast Beau is growing up. That is a daddy’s girl if I’ve ever seen one! I’ve been watching your family for years. Since you had a little over 12k viewers. I am so proud of what you two have accomplished. And you’ve shared it with all of us.
Your skill with the camera is amazing. You make me feel like I can smell the torch while welding. Today's video was priceless especially your commentary about the stars. I was on a carrier while in the Navy and while out in the middle of the Atlantic, with darken ship in place, the stars looked like waves across the sky. The milky way was almost touchable. So, thanks for helping bring those memories back again. It was great! Have a blessed week,
When Beau says Daddy's gonna fix it, that reminds me of growing up with a daddy that I knew could fix anything too. Even his grandsons would say if they had a broken toy, it's okay Paw Paw can fix it.
I continue to enjoy Mackenzie's video style. When you watch their videos you will see she mixes in slow-motion shots, pans, slow pushes, and pulls. Most of her shots are carefully framed and taken from a variety of angles. She doesn't just shoot a clip from a standing position and point the camera at a subject. I don't know if she has any training in video creation or if she is self-taught but she is very gifted at video creation. Enjoy.
After watching and enjoying her video-tography, (new made up word?), so much, I was thinking they should have awards for you tubers to acknowledge their talents.
1:15 The biggest thing about Spenser is how humble he is!!! Secondly he has SOOO MUCH common sense when it comes to things and life in general. These things SHINE through in the COUNTLESS videos I've watched from you BOTH since the very beginning.. to have come from where you were to now is AMAZING and I'm thankful and grateful I've been allowed to witness what you've shared with us! Stay humble.. stay fun.. trust that things always work out when you BOTH are in it together!! Literally NOTHING can stand in your way!!!
Years ago i was working at Boeing Field in Seattle, and one day there was a Learjet that belonged to Make-A-Wish Foundation parked next to the hanger. This jet was painted in a camouflaged paint scheme. But the colors were day glow orange, hot pink, fluorescent green, hot purple, it was fantastic and i could only think how much the kids must have loved it. Great videos… please keep em coming
Spencer looks a lot younger with his beard shaved off. He looks good with a beard and clean shaven. It's so nice to see how wonderfully you're raising your kids there. If only the whole world could do that. Love you guys! Look forward to your next video. 🥰💕🤗⭐☀️💕🥰
I like the dark green, especially if you have white trim. It's sort of like using the colours of your house, but flip-flopped. I really enjoy your videos. Your family is so true to life, with the highs and lows! ❤❤❤❤
The interaction between your daughter and Spencer gave me a flood of wonderful memories of when I was a little girl. Dad made me my own tool box and he gave me a little hammer, little screwdrivers, little pliers, screws and nails. So whenever he was in his workshop I'd be with him tinkering away, being just like daddy🥰! They are some of my most treasured memories. Your little ones are so lucky to share these experiences and the memories you've created for them will, I'm sure, make them smile forever!
I remember being at sea at night when I was in the Navy. Some nights when we went to darken ship condition the stars were so dense that they looked like clouds. It was like looking at a negative of the sky. Simply breathtaking
Ya know why we love ya? Because you're REAL. It's great to watch you work and achieve...it's also good to watch you having fun, and being real with one another. Your marriage is a wonderful role model. Edit: Spencer is good looking enough to get away with ANY facial covering he chooses. The 5 o'clock shadow look suits him, takes at least 10 years off! (You did ask!!! 😄)
You are absolutly right Kezie, we are here on this tiny earth in the mids of the vastness of the universe on our eternal journey and what we take with us is our learning, our experiences our children, grandchildren and the love for our family....!
Been watching you all for years!! Honestly love you two and your chemistry and all the hard work you two allow us to watch as you dream your dreams and make it happen. I'd think your cold hand would help relief some pain in his back. 🙂 Hmm beard or no beard he is still a hard working mountain man. May God continue to bless your family. The sky is amazing. I use to star gaze with my Dad. God is so amazing and His beauty is like no other.
I love the times when you reminisce about things, or think about things pertaining to life. Your spirit is beautiful. God sees your heart, and your husbands. You are so right, we definitely should be amazed at all this around us, and be grateful. May God bless your family immensely.
When at sea in the Navy many years ago, we could often see the sky from horizon to horizon all around us. It was an awe inspiring sight! I have been watching you from the beginning and you feel like part of my family. I think I know you better than I know many members of my extended family!
You both have a great channel and I certainly enjoy watching you and your two beautiful kids live such a great normal life. Too bad that you don't do your videos more frequently like you used to. You both have been a great inspiration to many other young people. Keep up the great work. And all of you stay healthy.
Love your camera work, Kenzie, and I totally agree with you regarding how small we are in the Universe. Also, love watching the rapour between you & Spencer, who looks very cute without his beard. Love from Australia 💞P.S. the green sample 2nd from the right is the best. 👌
I adore beards my hubs was an oil rigger and had a full set all our 42 yrs , but when Spencer took that face fur off wow,😮 ! He looked younger and cuter than the day you were waiting for the first shipping container,s to arrive andBear was a young dog .. love as always from Blackpool,U.K.
Kenzie we used to purposely camp the first long weekend in August in the Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada, just to see the wondrous clear skies full of stars and watch the falling stars . We would wake the kids up after twelve and sit in our camp chairs and watch their wonder as they came alive! Makes one realize we have a purpose on this earth with such great design and thought just to the vast heavens and nebulae’s that exist. The earth itself fascinates me on how it recovers itself from what we do to it. We truly are gifted a beautiful gift! 🎁 Blessings to you and your beautiful family! And yes I like spencer clean shaven but that’s just cause I’m old! Lol😂
I don't know why, I missed this posting. - firstly, great camera work. Mackenzie, I imaging you are just so much fun off camera as on. Your love for each other is so obvious and your daughter is just like mum and dad, her love for you both also shows. So, love from Mike. ❤
I like the second one you painted a sage green color I think that one would look good. It is coming along nicely. Thank you all for taking us on this journey with you and your family. I enjoy waiting every week to see your video when it comes out.
Great work Spencer. all the grinding of the rust and the priming done. I didn't like the first green but out of all the samples I liked the second one most,
Always love watching the kids interacting when projects are being done, precious! Love ❤️ the moment outside watching the stars, very emotional and loving.
When my husband shaved off his mustache when our daughter was four, she would not go near him and cried for ages.. I liked the beard as you kept it well trimmed, luckily they grow back.
The love and the humour really shines through in this video between Spencer and Mackenzie 🤣🤣🤣 Yes he still looks good without the beard. Beau is the icing on the cake this week, following daddy and working away in her own little world. I sooo look forward to watching your Videos, I have never missed one. Take good care, with love and blessings from Karen in Manchester United Kingdom 💜🐝
One of the best lines ever. "Whoa there, Sparkie" Gave me a good chuckle. Mackenzie's chuckles and laughs are always great. Votes: Spencer clean shaven. Paint color: the first one, the green. Loving this project!
I have had that realization feeling about our place in the universe and it was ratrher profound for as long as it lasted. One of those things you can't truly put into words though it was done very well here.
The vast of amount of people will NEVER see what you are. Thank you So Much for sharing everything that you guys do! I am always looking for your videos. I'm so happy you decided to make the Guests Home 🏡😊😊
Hey y'all best to the family, it's so beautiful seeing your daughter interact with with her father with his building project. Great little apprentice, go little lady best helper in town.
I have to vote for the clean shaven with a little shadow stubble. I think the second from the right end is the best of those samples. Thanks for the great video.
👆👆Thank you for watching and subscribing 👍. You have been shortlisted among our Mystery Box Giveaway winners.🚀 Send us a message on Nicegram to claim your Mystery Boxes ❤🎁❤️🥳🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉💫💫💫❤️
I still love watching the Spencer's grinding dance. For those of you who don't know I'm referring to, a video from 3 years ago called "OPENING UP OUR HOUSE!" @ 4:25 When I'm having a bad day I go back and watch it and it never fails to crack me up and make my day better. Would love to see an new extended version for the new container.
It is fun watching the both of you travel through this time of your life. You are such a beautiful and loving family and so lucky to have each other. I want to say that the darker green is closer to what surrounds you and will blend rather than stand out in the woods.
I love looking up at the sky at night and just staring. It is humbling and literally, an out of this world feeling. A retired pilot got me looking up and I don't ever want to stop especially since now one of those Stars may be him.❤
Such a fun family. I like the beard and the shave equally. I really enjoy your content. Been watching for quite awhile and look forward to every episode. An inspiration, truly.
you should find a Green thats between the middle and the last one (darkest). Take a cup and mix equal parts of the 2 colors and see how it comes out. If you like it, your paint supplier can Scan a color chip you can make from the mix to get the formula
First of all I love watching you all. Spencer can do anything he sets his mind to but I agree with you I love the beard. My husband will grow in the winter but I wish he would keep it all the time. Can’t wait to see how this container turns out!!
You really do have your own little slice of heaven right there 🌙 ✨ And yes I love the analogy and perspective on us as a whole and the world. Loved this video. Great job!
At 11:27 there is a glimpse of your (so far) 5 colours, or 6 colours if you include the colour of the anti-rust. Actually, I like the anti-rust colour best, but failing that, the light greeny-blue on the left is my choice. It is subdued and will blend with most scenarios quite nicely.
🦋Being out there at night is amazing and being someplace where you don’t have light coming from a city where you can see those stars is amazing especially for someone like me that’s live near City almost my entire life ~ It’s an amazing to me when I can see thousands thousands of stars. Right now in the winter sky I can see Orion really clear.
Love how humble you are Spencer and whatever you like, beard or no beard looks good on you. Beau has is right a good Daddy can fix anything. 👍 Love you guys 💕
You guys are adorable! Btw..I think I like the mountain man look for sure! I also love the evergreen. I think it will not look so dingy or dirty further down the road.🌷
You are just fabulous together and make watching you both together is a joy to undertake. I can't wait to see what's next. And the dark green and the one next to it ,if they were kind of blended together might be a really great green.
Filming a time lapse of space that is a time lapse in and of itself... very cosmic! The light from the those stars is millions of years old by the time it reaches your eyes.
Regarding paint options have you thought of the darker green option you have with a sable brown corners and around windows and doors. We have a small building that houses our tack with that color scheme. Looks great so far.
I live in the country and love looking at the stars at night. “They” spray our skies with so much junk (spraying us like flies ) that one doesn’t get to see a clear night very often. Your videos are so fun to watch and the babies are growing so fast! ❤💙❤️💙
🦋 You should consider having arnica in the house so when one of you has some aches or pains, bumps or bruises you can rub it on it. It comes in cream or gel I recommend the gel. You can order it online even from Walmart. And while you’re at it order Calendula gel/Ointment so you’ll have it in the house for minor cuts and bug bites. You can use it on the children as well.
If you ever get a chance to go to sea, take it Kinz. The starts you see when you're 3000 miles for shore are simply unbelievable. Thanks for keep the magic in your show!
I still say y'all are the best thing out there to watch. We all love you guys so much. Your daughter and Spencer remind me with my dad when I was little. I was his little shadow and helping with whatever he was doing. Keep up the good work!
You two crack me up! Lol I love how real you are and the love you share for one another it is evident in your videos! Your children are so lucky and so cute! They have grown so much! Enjoy all of your videos and this one made me laugh out loud
I love the progress y'all are making with this new space. Speaking of space, I enjoy seeing the night sky where you are and appreciate what you had to say about the stars, this planet, and the universe :) Your family is precious and I love watching all your videos. God bless and take care!

What a cherished experience and memory. Most in life will never experience such profound connection with the universe.
Yes, lucky you! Cherish that memory!
what happened to the girl? Did you marry her?

Clean shaven is my preference. Spencer looks so much younger without the beard. You two are great to watch. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
You two bring such happiness in this old lady life. I feel really special with the little ones

I love how you encourage your kids. You are giving them an amazing childhood.
The interaction with their daughter is just heart warming ❤️
Agreed “ just look up” at the wonder of this beautiful place ….❤ so much to be thankful for .

Loved the shot and framing of the moon early on in the video. Beautiful!
After watching and enjoying her video-tography, (new made up word?), so much, I was thinking they should have awards for you tubers to acknowledge their talents.
They do;they call them dollars...
Spencer looks like a college student w/o his beard.
Beau is going to become an engineer....write it down, I said it first!

Totally agree very humble.
So true!
Y’all are adorable and it’s good to know that Spencer is “cutely jacked”😂 Strong work you two youngin’s! Love watching the process.

Personally I love a clean shave or a 5 O’Clock shadow. Also, maybe take a pine needle that’s green and color match it? I’d stay with a neutral green.
That really is the best way. Taken a color from nature to color match
Yes, I agree, clean shave or 5 o'clock shadow.
I like the dark green, especially if you have white trim.
It's sort of like using the colours of your house, but flip-flopped.
I really enjoy your videos. Your family is so true to life, with the highs and lows! ❤❤❤❤
I can't believe how big your babies are getting! You are such a good mommy and Daddy. ❤
Just could not stop smiling. Sitting at home in the UK, watch you guys, love the relationship.
I can"t have a dog, I think that's why I love seeing Bear so much and because he's an awesome baby! Such a beautiful family!
So happy you guy’s posted and give me and my wife something to watch in the hospital after our little boy was born we love you ❤️
Congratulations on your new baby.
Congratulations! Blessings to you all!
Congratulations on your baby boy!❤
Congratulations to you and your husband little man he is going to keep you busy
Congratulations ❤
The interaction between your daughter and Spencer gave me a flood of wonderful memories of when I was a little girl. Dad made me my own tool box and he gave me a little hammer, little screwdrivers, little pliers, screws and nails. So whenever he was in his workshop I'd be with him tinkering away, being just like daddy🥰! They are some of my most treasured memories. Your little ones are so lucky to share these experiences and the memories you've created for them will, I'm sure, make them smile forever!
We agree “ you are jacked “ 😂😂😂😂
I remember being at sea at night when I was in the Navy. Some nights when we went to darken ship condition the stars were so dense that they looked like clouds. It was like looking at a negative of the sky. Simply breathtaking
Working the night shift line shack on a carrier making a 3 month long Indian Ocean cruise. Breathtaking is a good description.
Thank you for the night sky views and reminding us how lucky we are! ❤
What a beautiful environment for the Children to be raised in, the love is just Pouring from you all... Support from England 🙏
The 5 o'clock shadow look suits him, takes at least 10 years off! (You did ask!!! I totally agree with you Sloopy51 !!!!l
AGREE on Spencer 'look' ;and also love the clips/each week is excellent & interesting.

Who else loves these guys!!!?!!!?!?
Who doesn't???
They are the best! Their channel was the first that I started watching every video they post.
I've watched them from the very beginning. If you havnt seen the early video you should check them out
Just you
This guy does they're awesome
You both have a great channel and I certainly enjoy watching you and your two beautiful kids live such a great normal life. Too bad that you don't do your videos more frequently like you used to. You both have been a great inspiration to many other young people. Keep up the great work. And all of you stay healthy.
Spencer looks good with or without the beard, but in my opinion, he does look younger without it.
I was just admiring that perfect beard.. Spencer yu look a bit younger though.
I always like the " lumberjack:
How about a blue grn?
Yup he's a handsome dude!💯
I agree with all you have said xx
I prefer without.
I’m with your daughter, I think Spencer can fix anything too!❤
I loved living in the country and laying out watching stars in the summer. ❤
Beau is adorable. She says "I got tools" like okay let's get this work done.
Love your camera work, Kenzie, and I totally agree with you regarding how small we are in the Universe. Also, love watching the rapour between you & Spencer, who looks very cute without his beard. Love from Australia 💞P.S. the green sample 2nd from the right is the best. 👌

Agree. 👍😁💕
Don't forget about the main house. Keep us updated on any repairs or adjustments. Anything you wished you had done differently etc

You two are great, you're doing such a great job. Looking forward to seeing what it will look like when it's done.
The dark green looks awsome
Clean cut!
He is so easy going to your dogging him often.
Clean cut Spencer , and darker Green looks more like nature
Clean cut Spencer is the best. He's looking younger than ever!
Mix the darker green with one of the lighter colors, and see what you get
Agree - the paler colours all looked too similar to be able to choose from.
One of the best lines ever. "Whoa there, Sparkie" Gave me a good chuckle. Mackenzie's chuckles and laughs are always great. Votes: Spencer clean shaven. Paint color: the first one, the green. Loving this project!
Loved the transition from the reflection of the moon rippling in the water to the moon in the day sky, nice job!
Great video....the "Editing Queen" pulls off another masterpiece ....while Spencer welds "AND PAINTS" his berries off......great job by all !!
I love watching your channel & the sweet way you both interact with the kids!❤️
Hey y'all best to the family, it's so beautiful seeing your daughter interact with with her father with his building project. Great little apprentice, go little lady best helper in town.
Love your star gazing commentary!!! It is a beautiful creation we live in.
What a pain to remove stickers especially when it's been on the container all those years. Perseverance prevails!
I have to vote for the clean shaven with a little shadow stubble. I think the second from the right end is the best of those samples. Thanks for the great video.
I agree
Good job as always, still very proud of you both and the baby's are getting so big.
Cool transition between the light in the water to the moon! Good editing

Love no beard. You two and the kids are amazing.
You two are just so awesome. I love this cabin build its so interesting. Love all your videos.
He looks great with the shaven look!
I love her, running around in a dress and handing tools at the same time! That girl are going to be a rockstar ❤️
Spencer looks good without the beard 👍🏼
Nice to see something different.
It is fun watching the both of you travel through this time of your life. You are such a beautiful and loving family and so lucky to have each other. I want to say that the darker green is closer to what surrounds you and will blend rather than stand out in the woods.
Glad to see you back working, living, laughing and loving. The sky is amazing.
I love looking up at the sky at night and just staring. It is humbling and literally, an out of this world feeling. A retired pilot got me looking up and I don't ever want to stop especially since now one of those Stars may be him.❤
You are so beautiful 💕 family can't believe the kids are so big already but love 💕 your channel
Literally love you two, your silliness brings me a lot of joy 💚🙌🏻👌🏻 don’t ever grow up ever!! So boring adulting, stay young stay free spirits 🦄🌼🌺🌸
Love the humor...Spencer, you're right on the beard choices. Love you guys and thanks for sharing.
Clean cut definitely 👍
🦋Being out there at night is amazing and being someplace where you don’t have light coming from a city where you can see those stars is amazing especially for someone like me that’s live near City almost my entire life ~ It’s an amazing to me when I can see thousands thousands of stars. Right now in the winter sky I can see Orion really clear.
Love how humble you are Spencer and whatever you like, beard or no beard looks good on you. Beau has is right a good Daddy can fix anything. 👍 Love you guys 💕
Without beard, Spencer looks like a teenage boy! I don’t know, he looks good with or without! Love you guys, beautiful family ❤❤
keep the beard, ditch the toupee.
I love the stars and the moon shining at night because it takes me back to when everything was simple
I think Spencer looks great without the beard.
I think putting a little of the dark green in with the lighter green. I bet that would be a winner.
Build a swing set for the kids! Also get a small inflatable kiddy pool for them for those super hot summer days.
Looks like a great place for you both to build your own observatory with a big telescope. Love your channel 👍
