@@silverstonespov5291 so I removed the rear motor mount and rear transmission yoke , had to pull 1 of the stationary lines off to squeeze it out but it’s out !
I have a 2017 chevy silverado and sending alot bad signals to the main module, check engine ligth , the manometers star acting crazy up and dawn , no steering gets to hard , no ac , no ligth on the drive , neutral o reverse , transmicion kicks like wen you have a bad trans , all this has to be with the electronic rack and pinion ? Thanks for your help .
On most electric rack and pinion may have to do a relearn after install or reprogram by dealership depend on the year, make and model. Go online to search see any relearn procedures for your vehicle. I’m sure someone have video on UA-cam too. Also, check power supply as well, like Fuses, relays
Adjust the preload screw on the rack if it's too loose the rack will hv knocking sounds if it's too tight the steering feels hard it has to be set right
I bought a new rack n pinion for a 2003 infiniti g35 coupe on Facebook market and it looks longer according to my mechanic. But it shows on this video the old rack n pinion looks shorter..
Long or short a little just the inner tie rod ends, we can adjust on the outer tie rod ends, as long as the rack brackets and hardware and everything else is right it okay
how about on an all wheel drive? Im having trouble with the lines fitting by the rear motor mount and drive shaft

is that all that rlly holds it on those two bolts? ofc disregarding the lines and the steering column thing
