    This has been so helpful after years of birth control. I also grow broccoli sprouts...I am very happy with my results.

    I stoped DIM because it made me the most irritable person. And can I take it while taking macuna? Thank’s great video as always.

      Yes you can! Remember, you are cleaning out the liver pathway so, irritation may happen.

    I just started taken DIM with Calcium , but now i'm hearing that DIM blocks the effects of testosterone and also androgen receptors.. Really really bad if you trying to build muscle .

      @@thejdocrealminute4648 Yes i watched "The DIM Benefits For Men" ... you talk about how DiM frees up bound testosterone , but what good is that if it also blocks the androgen receptors ?

    • @JohnJohnson-wy6fk

      @@jaypaige7550DIM does not block the androgen receptor, but it a Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that no one wants
      Because it causes male pattern baldness.
      It shares some similarities with finesteride as far as hairloss and prostate cancer goes

    • @kittendkat5100
      @kittendkat5100 3 місяці тому +1

      But the androgen being blocked is DHT, not free T - correct? Stands to reason since both DHT and estradiol are metabolites of free testosterone. Like DIM, zinc is also similarly anti-estrogenic, anti-androgenic (at the DHT level), and free T enhancing, so the moral of the story is anti-androgenic isn't necessarily always a bad thing.

    I have a question I hope you will address. Should a postmenopausal woman discontinue taking DIM? I’ve been taking it for estrogen dominance. However I learned today on another channel that postmenopausal woman produce less estrogen and therefore there is no benefit in taking.

    Any pro tips for dealing with the severe headache I get when taking DIM. This, and Dr. Jawads previous video, make me understand why I have them. But would sure like some advice or strategies on how to effectively deal with them. Thanks!

      I bought CDG I’m hoping this isn’t true but tonight I stopped my dose after 2 days. Headaches have been on the rise but I was assuming because it was excreting all of the bad. Only thing that stopped me today was hearing that some people were saying it’s possible it also excretes testosterone alone with estrogen while it filters it thru.. maybe thats only when taken alone? I’m just not sure doc. Lmk if u hear anything! Thanks
