    What Is The Difference Between Ox Bile and TUDCA?

    What IS the difference?
    Tudca supports liver function as a whole, particularly bile FLOW, production and a number of other supportive functions that include the gallbladder's health. Ox bile assists in the break down of foods, particularly fatty acids which are essential to nutrient absorption.
    What is Ox Bile?
    Bile is a yellow-ish digestive fluid that lives in our gallbladder, but it is produced by the liver. Adequate bile production is critical for human health because bile helps our body digest and absorb the fat from our food in addition to fat-soluble vitamins, A, D, E, and K.
    After the liver makes bile, it is stored in the gallbladder and then released after we eat to help break down our food. Bile helps smooth out the digestive process by creating proper pH balance in our small intestine. In certain situations, bile supports the liver in removing excess cholesterol.
    TUDCA: Tauroursodeoxycholic acid
    Tauroursodeoxycholic acid, more commonly referred to as TUDCA, is a bile salt that is found naturally occurring in the body. When regular bile salts reach the intestines, they can be metabolized by bacteria into UDCA and then later bound to a taurine molecule to become TUDCA.
    TUDCA is a water-soluble bile salt, which is in contrast to regular bile salts possessing both water soluble and fat soluble ends and conferring a detergent effect. This is good for the bile salt's biological purpose (emulsifying fats in the intestines to help with absorption) but when bile acids back up in the liver, a clinical state called cholestasis which occurs when the liver is unhealthy, these bile salts can be damaging to cells by destroying the membranes and signaling for cell death. TUDCA and other water soluble bile salts like UDCA compete with this toxicity and thus indirectly protect cells from death.

    *Edited to add, that while this info may work for some, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I tried using ox bile and lipase, and it made things so much worse. The only thing that seems to work for me is cholestyramine and a mostly meat diet.* This is the best video/ informational source I've come across since having my gallbladder removed 10 years ago. This information should be put into a pamphlet and handed out to cholecystectomy patients. Patients should be advised on how to save their gallbladders if it's reasonable for them before surgery. And even better yet, we should be taught as children or young adults precisely how the foods we choose to eat affect our bodies, and what to do or how to improve when we've made bad choices and are dealing with the consequences. I don't use calculus everyday, but I eat food everyday, so having this information would have been money in the bank. Thank God I have it now and I'm expecting my digestion to get better and better every day. I'm so grateful to you for your time and effort in making this video, and for making it so easy to understand for the average human. Thank you. ✨🙏✨❤️

    Yeah and when we get acid reflux and don't know why because the doctors just tells us you don't need a gall bladder have a nice day, we are all dropping antacids by the bag to stop the reflux thus making it worse.

    I used to have chronic diarrhea from bile acid malabsorption caused by SIBO. I had to figure this out on my own, because no doctor was able to properly diagnose me. The diarrhea accidentally got cured when I took antibiotics for a toenail infection.
    Since then, I've had chronic constipation instead (and even back when I had diarrhea, it was "constipated diarrhea" for lack of a better term - watery with yellow/green bile but took forever to come out). I take psyllium husk and apple pectin capsules, but they only help a little. The biggest problem is that after the initial large or medium amount of stool comes out, there's always a few extra little pieces that don't want to come out, and I've developed hemorrhoids straining to try to get the last bits out. I even sometimes have to get up and walk around a bit before they come down low enough to be pushed out. And sometimes there's a small amount of watery stool residue that I have to strain to get out after the solid stools have come out, and it takes 30 minutes before it stops. Also, my digestion seems to take forever, because food from one meal often comes out in multiple defecation sessions, sometimes even on different days.
    Is it possible that TUDCA could be helpful in my case? And if not, what are some other things to try?

Is there any chance ox bile and/or TUDCA could help with histamine intolerance? My symptoms are not digestive, they are skin reactions - hives, rashes, and extreme itching. I've had a few different problems with my gut, IBS, low stomach acid, leaky gut, Gerd and fatty liver to name a few, that I've now sorted. I've also taken Tudca and my fat digestion is much better than it was but not completely fixed even with the stomach acid levels back to normal & bile flow sorted. My question is can I take ox bile by itself as I have my gal bladder & if we recycle up to 90% with it filing the gal bladder to release after we eat food, this would remove the timing aspect for me to know exactly when to take it, as I've heard lots of different conflicting advice on this, some say just after food, some hr to 2 hrs after and my last bottle said before food, this one just says the dosage and nothing about when, I can't find much info about the timing with a gal bladder intact, any advice i much appreciated

    You got me confused at the 9:10-17 mark...which supplement are you exactly talking about when u talk about playing around with the dosage and timing? Are u taking about the Betaine HCL or the Ox Bile??? You do not make it clear..b/c in one sentence you are talking about low stomach acid to digest food w/the HCL and then you talk about dosages after you eat, so which are you talking about pleaase? What do you wait on and see to take?

    Is TUDCA actually made of bear bile or is it from a synthetic source?

    • @thejdocrealminute4648
      @thejdocrealminute4648  9 місяців тому +1

      TUDCA, which is a specific compound that has been only discovered in bear bile so far and does not appear in the other animal bile samples, was also detected in artificial bear bile, which reduces apoptosis by modulation of AP-1 and shows anticholestatic effect

    • @micaonyx5301

      Wow that was such a convoluted answer. In short Tudca is synthetic and NOT made from bears, plain and simple 😂

    AFTER OR BEFORE?
    I am somwh confused, but it kinda make more sense to me to take Ox bile before the meal so it can pass through stomach quick and avoid to meet with stomach acid and alkalize the stomach. Bile should be in duodenum before the food and acid rushes in, so it can take effect and break it down. I can't imagine how will ox bile work after the meal while food is halfway there and the bile will just get mixed with the acid in the stomach, make a sizzle and do nothing to the food.
    And also I noticed in another video "when not to take bile salts" you said that bile salts should be taken before a meal, not after. So what is the right way?

    • @thejdocrealminute4648
      @thejdocrealminute4648  7 місяців тому +1

      Research --- has shown: Right Before the meal/during the meal --- yes. Bile is released ONCE the food passes into the small intestines.

      I have very low stomach acid... wouldn't taking ox bile before or during my meal make my stomach even more alkaline and lower the acid? I take bile an hour or more after my meals. I'm also taking TUDCA to clear gallbladder sludge and help with digestion. Am I doing this correctly considering my low acid?

    • @thejdocrealminute4648
      @thejdocrealminute4648  7 місяців тому +2

      Take TUDCA on an empty stomach. Take Ox bile WITH your meal. Once the food passes through the stomach.....that is when it is very important. If you need to work on stomach pH ---ua-cam.com/video/yiK9FL5wc-s/v-deo.htmlsi=ltXS6xJf33vMqz1O@@lovemyishi7144

    Taurus. Never evaluated how Taurus would do as a doctor. I suppose, being determined, stubborn, having career tenacity far more than the others...yeah. Lots of Taurus into sports and physical power so, probably more sports medicine. They tend to be clumsy and get hurt a lot, not nearly as much as Sagittarius but still, they'd have medical exposure.
