@@sweetpeace5 After age 40 the CoQ10 manufactured in our bodies begins to drop and continues to decline every year. So the older we get, the more CoQ10 we need to replace. And not all of what is taken is metabolized and made available to the heart.

Any thoughts or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Great vid.

Thank you Dr. Berg. 👍🏻
You're most welcome.
Dr Berg how much do you recommend for someone just trying to fit it in to there daily supplements ?
Yes!!! I've been waiting for you talk about this!!
Thank you so much. Requesting you to kindly make an video on COCONUT MEAT as this is readily available and cheap in India. Avocado are expensive. Can it be replaced with avocado and chicken ( fat and protein). How can I incorporate COCONUT MEAT in my diet. I am following you and currently on OMAD from last 2 months. Will be very great full if you will enlighten me about coconut meat. Thank you so much once again. Stay blessed
I've been on statins for a decade and no doctor advised me to take coq10 but fortunately excellent advise from here I do take coq10 100 mg Dailey im going to double the dosage to 200 dailey
Thank you so much Dr.eric berg I depend on you a lot.i am not in good health due to bad eating but trying to improve.
I am so greatful to have listen to this, I stop taking CoQ10 I'm still not sure why, but have been in awful leg pain and not sleepy well and just overall tired. Thanks for posting things for health it gets people back on track. Thank you so much. I do take statins but had stop taking the CoQ10, I was told to take by my Dr. after heart problems. Again thank you.
Hi, if you can't sleep and you need to sleep better than that you can drink boil parsley water with lemons. Boil them together and drink the water it's good for a lot dease too.
for better sleep make a tea with lemons and parsley
Very useful supplement to manage
diabetics and have energy. I was also wondering if is it is better to use this for proper digestion than enzymes ?
Thank you Dr Berg 👍🏻🌹 Please we’d like to know the recommended dose of Coq10 according to age ?
You can Find the daily dosage on the label of the co Q10 bottle .
100 mg daily after meal..
Once a day
200mg if you are 50 years old, 400mg if you are 60, 600mg if you are over 70 years old.
@@nguoithichhoasim1233 That is the suggested dosage, your needs may be different.
Thank you Dr berg for your valuable video and add free content.
Hi Dr. Berg, what kind of the benefit, combined Vitamin E ,Vitamin C and Q 10? Thank you!
I really wanted to hear your suggestion on when to take this. Seems like before first meal makes the most sense since it helps enzymes. It is fat soluble though, so maybe after meal?
How about in the middle of the meal
Hi! I'll link a Dr. Berg's video that you may want to check out: ua-cam.com/video/qPM3ccMJrE4/v-deo.html

We wish Dr Berg as well to explain if Q10 creams for the skin are the same thing? and would they be useful enough to keep a healthy youthful look without taking Q10 tablets.
@@mostlyketo77egypt I truly believe that would be a no. Everything happens on the inside out

I have fibromyalgia and migraines and I take CoQ10, magnesia, calcium, d vitamins, omega 3. I can clearly feel the difference if I don’t take CoQ10. I get the fibromyalgia fatigue, real bad! If I take these supplements, I am able to use my treadmill 45 minutes four times a week. It still hurts, but the pain feels very different and my energy level is much higher. I feel stronger.
Same here
I'm no expert but I think a lot of our health issues occur in thr gut. Try eating a good amount of bulgarian yogurt for a day. Just eat that and see how you feel. Personally my gut health issuess and major inflammation went down signifigantly almost like a miracle. Nothing has compared to what bulgarian yogurt has done for me. Obviously don't take my word for it and consult a doctor but I'm talling you if you're up for it you should test it out just to see how you feel. Kind of like a day long fast with a ton of that yogurt for your gut.
The doctor told my father that he had an aneurism in the heart and wanted to put him on some medicines. My father started to take ubiquinol. He went back to the doctor and the doctor did not understand what happened. My father is overweight, has no cholesterol, and has no prediabetes. He says that 200 mg of ubiquinol a day maintains him young and healthy... go figure...
The stock video at 1:09 made me think of hasselback potatoes and waffle fries..lol. Sorry if that triggered anyone. I've been in ketosis since early June' potatoes have nothing on me. Great video Doc! Thank you for all the time and energy that goes into your videos!
yep! kinda hate you right now, lol! 😋
Love your short consise videos. TY
Thank you so much for your dedication and teaching us more about our beautiful body. I am learning so much.
*Ibiquinol is the already converted form of CoQ10 so you don’t waste any in conversion*
Ubiquinol. No such thing as
"Ibiquinol"
@@farshimelt it’s an autocorrect error- settle down chump
Beautiful! Informative, clear, concise.
You are very good at what you do, and I am very grateful.
I had been on high cholesterol medication 💊 for years and it was never discussed or recommended for me to take CoQ10, I found out here on UA-cam and its importance.
Dr Berg, the universal Doctor, providing education and help in bite size chunks . Thank you ⚡️💥🌟✨💥❤️
In some people it can cause persistent insomnia depending how much you take.
I've been taking Ubiquinol instead. Would you please address the difference? Thank you Dr. Berg!
Ubiquinol is a form of CoQ10. It's not an "instead" of. It's the most absorbable form.
If you don’t get better after a stomach virus even if you drink lots of water and a little Kinderlyte you might ask your doctor for this cause they recommended me take 100 mg of this. I am feeling “off” and fatigued for days clueless on what is happening. So I will give this a try tomorrow.

Dr. Berg, in another video you recommended not taking synthetic vitamins. How do we know if what we are taking is synthetic?
He's got 2 videos on synthetic vitamins. Check his list.

Hi Dr. Berg...recommended dosage? And, what should we look out for to ensure we are buying a quality product? Thank you
Exactly
I take about 150mg daily. Suggest you take it in the morning as it seems to add energy, and sleep may be diffcult if you take it at night.

I use chelated once but I take even 200 is that okay 👍
Nice
I have read in seniors, ubiquinol is better than coQ10…because seniors struggle “converting” coQ10 to usage in the body. Ubiquinol is the “post conversion” form of coQ10.
Hello, Dr. Berg, I would like to ask about urinary incontinence. Can it be treated with exercise, or is surgery required for a woman over fifty? Thank you.
Doctor Berg... He's our Man !!!! If he doesnt cover it.... I'm rarely interested. ***THANKS DOC*** for the timely video !!
I was put on a statin by a cardiologist--several weeks later I started to notice my heartbeat skipping beats---quite frightening--looked up the fact that CoQ10 is depleted by statins and started taking them immediately--heartbeat returned to normal (I couldn't believe the cardiologist didn't know this would happen or that I should supplement with CoQ10)
how long did you take coq10 to get back to normal? did you take ubiqunol or coq10? I am having the same thing happen
@@gabs0149 I always use the ubiquinol form. As you get older your body's ability to convert ubiquinone to ubiquinol is markedly decreased. It took about a week-and I took 200 mg of CoQ10 and I continue to take that much. It has significant cardiac benefits as you get older. When I had this problem the use of statins causing CoQ10 depletion wasn't appreciated--now when I watch ads for CoQ10 in the media this is described as one of its benefits
Does ubiquinol lowers BP???... I have read it....
❤Thankful dr Berg. IT'S GREAT TOPIC ❤
I'm putting into practice dr bergs advice - I'm gonna live to be biblically old like Moses - 800 years or something crazy like that, but when I hit 700 I'm start smoking again
Sounds good . I would start smoking again too if i just did 1 or 2 a day but i compulsively do 30 + back in the day . The 1st smoke of the day with a coffee .

You are brilliant ERIC sir, love from England 🏴
Great information, thanks, Dr. Berg. I have a question. I was recently taking a beta blocker, propranolol, at a moderate substantial dose for multiple years. I have read from multiple sources that beta blockers decrease COQ10. Is this true? Should I be supplementing with COQ10 to restore levels of this coenzyme? Lately I have been taking a 100mg COQ10 pill about once or twice a week with meals. I no longer take any beta blocker and haven't for a couple months. Any thoughts or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Great vid.
Me too! Good question!
Yes it’s true. they can deplete CoQ10. This can be very dangerous. The heart needs a rich supply of this nutrient for the energy “factories” of its cells. Did you have any reaction after getting off the beta blockers.
This supplement is saving my life!!! Without it the only way I could function was if I took adderal !
I was on concerta and wasn't getting better so I stopped and randomly started taking Coq10 ...
Wow wow wow
I have energy now and I can focus too..focus is not 100% yet but a whole better without the stimulants
Dr. Berg, would you be so kind to specify the dosage of Co q10 per day. Thank you very much!
Dr Berg can you make a video for back to school. Please, please!! What kind of vitamins my child should be taking!!

Thank you so much for this information. I've been losing a lot of muscle because I don't get proper nutrition and I have a lot of inflammation from autoimmune problems. Making it hard for me to do physical therapy.

Why supplement with Co Q10 if the statins you're taking blocks them?
Blocks your own production-is how I believe it works... and therefore should be prescribed along with statins, which presumably most doctors don’t do. I had my mum’s dr prescribe it for her after years of going without.

Ubiquinol is the more bioavailable form of CoQ10 for people over 30 years?
