What do you think of the landing? I think I'm going to make it a couple of feet taller so that it's more of a step up. Maybe even throw some mulch on it. That should help build some more confidence to start going bigger.
@@Bruppeditz yeah I think so too. This is definitely not the jump I set out to build lol. But I'm not complaining. I wanted something that would help me get over my fear of going higher. And this one shoots you up.
@@cutlaps I’ve never hit a jump that big and I have always thought step ups are less scary because you don’t have to fall as much. I think they are some of the best confidence building jumps
The landing is good as is! The crisp top of the landing looks so good, but rounded might make it safer to come up short with the nose. (I might be traumatized from broken an OTB broken nose experience from being just short fully commuted.) I agree that step ups are easier and technically you can send them deep and land where a long flat table would be. When you get the extra dirt you could slightly lower beyond the landing in all directions making the landing slightly longer in the process (in a way that drains).

I get excited when a tree falls over at my place haha
@ would be nice if i had something more to pick from then mostly maple trees tho
@@R3D_R41D3R Oh I don't know much about Maple. I have plenty of eucalyptus, its heavy and hard on the saw but its pretty durable.
What A build man, been watching for so long and hope your uploading more as it's summer in Australia (I'm from Ireland)
Hows the riding in Ireland? I'll try to upload more over summer. I have a friend coming to help speed up the process but some of these builds take so long. For example milling the log only took about 1 minute of video but really I was out there for 4 days doing it. I had a few issues that ended up being a bit boring to include in the video.
Hey mate. I only found this channel a few days ago but ive already watched many of your videos and im loving them. Keep up tbe crazy builds!
That is so cool to hear. Welcome to my channel and stoked you are enjoying the videos.
