    Looks absolutely delicious. I loved that you kept your egg mistake in the video, it just made it all more genuine. Maybe a squeeze of lemon on top to add a bit of acidity.

    I’ve tried so hard to like oatmeal & I just can’t, it’s a texture thing, but I’ll definitely give barley for breakfast a try as I prefer a savory breakfast & love barley!

    Other than the not waiting the full 6 minutes for the eggs, the stem still left on the avocado, the bizzare way she shelled the egg, and the piece of kale flying out in the end...Looks pretty good!

    Just made this, since kale and bailey is hard to find in my local supermarket and probably hella expensive here in Indonesia, so i ve used spinach and stir fried oats instead , with 2 sunny side up eggs on top. Turns out tasty for someone who loves unhealthy foods like me 😂😅

    • @MapleDaze
      @MapleDaze 8 років тому +4

      well she did put in 2 tbsp of chopped garlic as well... Of course its for 4 dang servings.
      people only see one bowl at the end, and some how come to the conclusion that everything she used in the recipe is in that one single serving.
      People are weird.

    • @crunchipscrust
      @crunchipscrust 8 років тому +2

      It's just not common in my opinion to have this amount of garlic, salt or oil for BREAKFAST. If you want to torture the people around you for the rest of the day, fine. It's ok for you to find me or people in general weird because I really think people who start their day with this bowl are all kinds of weird. Might as well barbecue for breakfast, sorry.

    • @MapleDaze
      @MapleDaze 8 років тому +7

      how does your opinion have anything to do with the common habits of man. Have you studied this sort of thing? no. you just dont like savory breakfasts, so its not common for you. but your opinion does not represent the rest of the real world. Pull your head out of the sand and notice that lots of people eat and enjoy savory and heavy breakfasts all over the dang world.

    • @crunchipscrust

  • @SadeLife-uj5lw

    If u put that uncooked egg inside the avocado, instead of its scooped stone, it will look better for the eye. and to be honest: that dollop of yogurt was better been replaced by sour cream. Why?! cause yogurt & eggs don't go well together, while sour cream is the closest posh cousin for Mayo, so it well taste good with eggs.

    Never heard of barley, what is it?

    • @lisaboban

      It's a grain, like rice or quinoa. It's got more flavor than rice, and it's less bitter than quinoa.

    I think the yolk is too runny Sarah. I usually boil the egg for 5-6 minutes on medium low heat. Then i quickly submerge the egg in cold water. Or you need to leave the egg in hot (not boiling, around 70-80 degrees celsius) water for 20 minutes to achieve the onsen egg. (onsen = japanese hot bath).
