I don't understand why is so hard to add a headphone jack to the front of the amplifier (or 2 - balanced as well) to a amp. The amp already has the juice for the big speakers, divert some of the power and resolution for an intimate listen, too. I am looking these days for an class AB amp with phones outputs in the front in a small form factor, like this babies are... unless you spend at least 1.5 Gs rare not much out there. I love a small unit with big capabilities - like a perfume essence. Thank you in advance!
As the title says and the back panel obviously dictates, this is a power amplifier. Not an integrated amp or a preamp. You'll find a headphone amp in most preamps and most integrated amps, but never in a power amplifier. Moreover, whenever an amplifier also has a headphone amp, it doesnt mean that some of its power...and resolution is diverted to a headphone output. The circuitry of a speaker amp and a headphone amp are two different things. Most importantly, I doubt you'll find any class AB amps in such small size, regardless of them having or not having a headphone amp.
@@stoianovadrian8772 No, its not a gap in the market. Class AB amps need big power supplies, hence the full size of them. You simply can't put a toroidal power supply in such small enclosure, with enough space for everything else. If it was possible, don't you think someone would had thought about it, in the last 60 years?
A great single ended successor to the DA9 and a perfect companion for the Wiim Ultra!
