You look surprisingly good first thing in the morning, Vanessa, ha-ha. You seem to be having quite a Mosquito experience, sometimes they are unavoidable and you just have to do your best. More nice insect photos & Plant photos. Looks like the Mosquitoes were giving the Deer a really hard time too. Thank you for showing us the Bird's nest. Of course we can coexist with Wolves & other dangerous animals, it is not necessarily easy, but it is possible, here in Canada,. especially in the National Parks we have shown that it is possible, humans successfully co-exist with wolves, Bears & Cougars, usually if there is a problem the animal dies & not the human. We need to give animals more space, create more Parks where Humans are not allowed. Have a wonderful day Vanessa.
Beautiful scenery around the lake. The wild animals are part of the magic of the wilderness, otherwise with out them the Canadian forest would lose everything. While hunting Moose two white timber wolf pups trotted in front of the truck for about 1 kilometer. That was magic just beautiful. 😊
All animals have a right to live in their natural environment, as people we have to accept that and learn to be cautious with the dangerous ones. Thanks Vanessa 👍😃❤
Think the answer to your question is everything has a place, and we have a brain to think things through rather than kill them. Different if your a farmer as such I guess, or they get out of hand. Not forgetting of course they have been here longer than us, and will maybe still here when we have gone. A very good video Vanessa, and from someone abit back that didn't think her camera work was good, it isn't, it's the better end of the best I have seen from a handheld camera as your solo as well. Such detail and thought, almost like were your eyes. Your little friends I think you need more than a shirt, try and smoke some fungus on a stick wound be much better, if you can't smoke a small fire. But yet another great interesting video from you, well done. Arthur (UK)
Thanks for your reply Vanessa, I have told you before and still believe for content, details, plant knowledge and viewing interest, you are one of the best females if not the best on You Tube. You hardly ever repeat or work the same theme, always trying hard with your English, that makes you a pleasure to watch and follow your love for nature and your family, which is very evident. Arthur (UK)
Those mosquitoes would make me lose my mind!! Great video Vanessa. No wolves, but I loved the wild life and flowers. Thanks for taking us along. It's a pleasure spending time with you.
Hi Vanessa, another great video, I loved part one! This is wild life photography at it's best, and in brilliant 4K format is breath taking. You are a great creator and entertainer, and speak a beautifully fluent English with a lovely accent. I find mosquitoes an absolute curse, and admire how you persevere to bring us your beautiful videos. A huge thank you from us all.
Thank you. We were waiting for Part II. Fantastic footage. This was the best part of our Saturday night. Thank you for putting this together. This was excellent entertainment, and you are a very talented creator/producer.
I really enjoyed this part two. Love your video of nature and wildlife, you do a great job. IMO, there are places for large predator wildlife and places where there are not. Luckly, here we have enough room that they can exist away from human habitat, mostly anyway.
every creature has a purpose as do wolfs or any creature we as humans should know by now we have upset mother nature in many ways and we could take good lessons by letting mother nature run its course .... wow those fish so many were they trout ? and so beautiful in germany we on the other side of the world know little about thank you for showing us Vanessa !!! 🇩🇪🇨🇦 from Canada
Another cool video. I live in America and I’m an avid hunter and fisherman. I spend lots of time where there is bears mountain lion and wolves. I’ve had to contend with them more than once. I like having them there. They are a part of the natural order. Majestic predators keeping nature in balance.
Right there with ya Buddy. I'm hearing too many extremely views in the comment's. Humans and wild life can exist together. Humans need to be responsible caretakers, but we're not the boogy man some are making us out to be. Don't hate, educate.
Hi Vanessa! The wolves extinct 100 years ago in my country too. But Bears are still exiting in nature and most of the people afraid of them. Now the number of dears and bores are very increasing cos there are no enemies in the wild. Thank you for uploading such a beautiful video.

Another great video! Vanessa. It’s great to see someone getting out in the wilderness teaching bushcraft! You do such a awesome job with your videos! Really professional! Keep up the great work!
Hi, my name is Rick from Holland and I`m responding to this older video of yours. Here there are very few wild animals , sadly ,as there is nature. This is why I love your videos.I grew up in Toronto Canada where wild life and natuur are massive .To asnswer your question yes all animals sould be free and have al the space they need.Animals such as beres and foxes are in Canada both very wild to maybe friendly in nature . But in the city there very many squirrels black , gray and white and even racoons that walk past people in very busy areas .Thank you for your lovely natuur adventures and I hope your doing well , Rick
Nice video, great camera angles. I enjoyed watching both episodes. 👏🏽👍🏽 You made a very passionate argument defending wolf, and throughout the videos you enjoyed many insects and birds. But… not so much the mosquitoes. It stands to reason however, that mosquitoes too have value. I once read that mosquitoes, little soldiers that they are, defend the rain forests of the world from being chopped down. Could it be they are defending something where you are too? Something to ponder; within the safety of the Amok hammock of course. Bye bye. Have a good time. 😀
As long as the animals isn’t doing any damage or harm to humans and their property they should be left alone! If they are in their wilderness area we should respect their domain and leave it as natural as possible! Like your videos Vanessa. I live in Alabama in the United States 🇺🇸!
Wild Woman Vanessa👍 Of course the animals should remain supreme, they were there first right.. We are encroaching on their territory. Only humans think they have a right to destroy for self preservation. Animals don't think like that, they just survive. I'm surprised and astonished you stayed the course and completed your adventure. Not many people would have put up with the mosquitoes as you did. Good job. Strong lady you are. See you next time Enjoy.
Dear Vanessa, Natural sounds was amazing once again. at least the birds are still surviving. I felt a bit sad that Bavaria has lost its wolves, i wish we had another planet where humans could "progress" as its not doing our innocent wild life any favours here. I thought Bavaria was a wilderness park, but it seems all the world is the same losing its bigger animals. A very melancholy movie for me with no wolves 😔 what are we humans doing? thanks for your awareness. I am for all the animals of all kinds they should be left alone, its a human duty to make sure our nature survives.
Great part 2. When wild animals become a problem, trapping and relocating is best, however it is not always feasible. I would never camp there twice, you are tough. ..😙Texas
Mosquitos!! real scourge !!! since we've got here some tiger mosquito it is worse. They resist even to the best pest killer. I think i'm gonna buy a chameleon !!! still the most efficent LOL thanks for your video
I read an article, maybe two years ago, about the reintroduction of the wolf to the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. People, ranchers, were against it because the said the wolves would attack the cattle and sheep, pets, and so on, but the pack has grown and remained mostly in the park area, away from humans and so on. Studies since the reintroduction have shown a much better ecological balance. The deer, buffalo, birds, and other wildlife are more in harmony and the land is benefiting too. Conservation and manage of those that were here first is a very good thing. Thanks for the videos Nessa, in spite of the mosquitos. As you got back by moving water, the mosquitos seemed to vanish. More repellant when you are in an area like that. Ja? Guten tag!
Very nice Vanessa, the landscape all the birds so vocal all very nice. As far as wolfs go and being in Idaho US we've reintroduced the wolf, not that I keep up with how that is working for the native wildlife and ranchers I think the program has worked I think it's the right thing to do. Keep up the good work Vanessa and thank you!!!
Let nature be wild. In my area we have to hunt the prey animals to keep the population in check due to having killed off the predators because people are afraid of them. Great trip! Thanks for bringing us along!
Another great video Vanessa. Your question about the wolf is not easy to answer. The fact that it is coming back to your area in over 100 years is awesome and it should be protected. However if the numbers become so great that they become a problem for people and other animals, that has to be considered. Here where I live coyotes have appeared where there were none before. Unfortunately because of this the moose and caribou population is getting smaller.
Hey nice video Vanessa, Yes here in Belgium are also back the wolves. I find that very well because they were here first, and hope that there is still more to come. They are beautiful animals
There are available mosquito repellant wet wipes that come in very small packs so you can always have them for unexpected situations Vanessa . You must get some to keep in your pack always just in case so you can enjoy your time . I support healthy , natural ecosystems of course . Beautiful !
Great video Vanessa. You have accepted and won your challenge. As to the question that you asked us to answer. I only hope that we don't live in a world where people have overpopulated our planet to the point where there is no natural home for all of the other creatures that constitute the very complex and delicate systems that gave rise to and continue to maintain them. Leaving "wild" or undeveloped areas is not only important to the inhabitants there; it is important for all of us. Obviously; no one wants to have wolves or bears at their door. Continuing to encroach on their habitats is only going to make this more likely. When I was in grade school there were 3 billion people living in the world and by 2017 there were 7.53 billion. This is more than in the known history of our planet and has taken place in a very short period of time in relation the presence of our species on earth. You can google articles showing pictures of people throwing Molotov cocktails at baby elephants and their mothers to drive them out of villages... I don't think killing is always an answer. It should be the very last answer of all. Keep making your wonderful videos!
Thanks for that part two,the mosquito plague didn’t go away and leave you in peace,I wish the had done. Like I said before,we need to leave these animals alone to live happily, not kill them at all.See you next time 🙂
Hi Vanessa. Something you might look into is a Thermacell. I have both versions and they work well. You can get them on Amazon. For bites-- get a Sawyer Extractor. Ive used it for several years. Easy to spot in its yellow box. Ive put my Stubben aside for now, its too heavy for hot weather. I'm mixing ultralite backpacking with the survival set. Nice blend. be warm and well JB
Bavaria is beautiful ... thank you for sharing the view! We also have Daylilies (or "Tiger Lilies"). The petals are like a mild onion. Delicious! Be safe ... God Bless
Beautiful filming and a lot of the natural music of the nature going on in the background , very therapeutic video. If in nature or outside nature i only do something to defend or to sustain my self for the survival , no reason to wake up in the morning and think to kill , understandably farmers have to be vigilant
Hello Vanessa. Here in Colorado, in the Rocky Mt. National Park, the elk population is very over crowded because there are no wolves. However, I am positive that wolves will not be reintroduced to bring back a balance. Wolves should be a part of nature. Thank you so much for this video.
Top 5 reasons proving Vanessa is a werewolf. 1 each week she hurries off into the woods. 2 she is often seen eating or gnawing on wild plants. 3 notice how many times she was caught scratching in this episode. 4 in night vision camera you could see the wild glare in her eyes just before the full moon. 5 in daylight she shows us suspicious looking wolf like tracks in her camp but no pictures of a wolf. Yep she's a werewolf. 😲🤔
Vanessa, you need a mosquito headnet, it's like a hat, that has mosquito netting on it, and you can draw it down over your face, and close at the neck. That and some mosquito/bug repellent. Something natural, of you don't like DEET. Your videos are always so interesting, ajd your camera work is getting better and better, every time. You have such a beautiful outlook on everything.
Hello Vanessa. I live in northern Ontario Canada in a very remote area. Here I show many wild animals in my. Videos. Bear, wolves, lynx, wolverine ( I think you call them Glutton ) and people and animals exist very close together. Once a Bear came through the screen door of the kitchen for the food cooking and had to be shot in the house but that is very unusual. I think the animals have as much right to live as any of us. People must not be so greedy for land. I always enjoy your videos . ATB. Paul
Hello Vanessa, happy day to you dear. Thank you for another fine video. A big thank you also for the many helpful hints that you share with your viewers. You always do a great job of filming the beauty of the outdoors. Always take good care of yourself. I look forward to see you again on your next video. 🤗
Yikes! Mosquitoes all around you. We have them in the desert during the monsoon season - not quite as thick as those in your video. :>) An amazing diversity of wildlife. I didn't know that day lilies are edible - I do now. I'll have to try one! Thanks for a great video. We have bears here - we seem to get along as long as people don't try to confront them. Many times, I have seen a bear passing through my back yard - never any problems. All of our trash receptacles are bear proof. I usually have deer too. Many skunks as well - one can certainly smell them. One should never approach a wild animal - even a deer can do considerable damage to a human. We don't have to say anything about skunks. Most of us get along fine. But there are always those few humans that can make any situation into something negative.
Hi Vanessa .. a great 2nd Part .. thank you. Lovely shots of Nature 👍. That was a beautiful Wetland that you were in 😊. The Mosquitoes? 😣 .. but in a manner, perhaps a good thing and especially during the warm (breeding) season in that there will be less humans in the area and the Wildlife will not be disturbed by them. Wolves .. hmmm ... I believe that they have their place in the Wild .. and are very good for the Ecology (as I mentioned previously, the 'Yellowstone National Park and the Wolves' make for interesting reading. You Tube also has a Video on this). Unfortunately, when Wild Animals and Humans make contact, there will be problems. This must just be managed responsibly with hopefully, where possible, the Animals given the advantage. A contentious (difficult) Subject with no simple solution. Great Videos Vanessa .. a pity that 'Little Red Riding Hood' did not see 'The Big Bad Wolf' 😊 .. although perhaps the Wolf was watching Her 😨😉😊. Until next time, please take care out there 👃👂👂👀 .. LG .. Tommy
In South Florida and down in the Everglades, I've seen mosquitoes so thick that they made my grandfather's safari hat look completely black when I was younger.
Thank you for another great video Vanessa. As to your question? I personally believe ALL of the animals should be welcomed back into their habitat. We're the ones that moved in and forced them to leave. It's not their fault people get in the way. People need to learn about and respect them, give them the space they need and observe them from afar. Enjoy their company and your time in their homes (the fields and forests and more).
I addressed this question yesterday. It is difficult to say at times. As I said, they were here before we were. They will be here after we are gone. We will be gone one day. The span of time our being here is so small and the damage we have done is so great. We all must find a way to live simpler and closer as you are. This area is such a great place. So full of life and beauty. Often and as tonight watching you there, I wonder about the life there or any forest when there are no humans present. The natural selection of the strongest over the weakest. The harmony each living thing brings to the ecosystem. Many of your last films have addressed this in different ways. The thoughts and questions you raise are so important. Not everything in our life is happy but each twist and turn brings to where we need to be. You were brought to this place and time to not only bring you to your inner self but also to bring your viewers to a better place. Once again, Thank you Vanessa ... i don't believe this would translate correctly so will not.
Here in the UK Swedish Wolves have been reintroduced in Cornwall,it's early days but hopefully they will flourish.Shame about the Mosquitoes, but at least it was dry this trip, lovely area.
That's a good question about dangerous animals. What if they're really starving? Or what if you unknowingly go too close to they're babies? IDK, but you looked cozy in your hammock zipped in with the net. You said you were feeling something you didn't know the word for? I think I know and it's one of those words that are the same in German as in English - angst. In English you could also say anxiety. Maybe that was it. Anyway great video, when you said the name of that bird, I loved the way you rolled your Rs, so fast and easy, it tickled. Maybe a couple of guy lines to hold the bug net out would work good. Looking forward to your next adventure. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Oh those mosquitos! They are such a bother and we have so many to share here in Alaska...we have extras if you run out. :) In Alaska we have the wolves even today, but they are shy indeed...beautiful creatures. We have many black and brown bears that live in the mountains near Anchorage. They come into the city along the creek vegetation to fish for salmon in the streams. They are only a problem when people leave refuse out uncontained or, dog food, and bird seed. Some times near hiking trails there can be a moose killed and stored by a bear. There have been people attacked by bears defending their food. But the bears live here too and have some rights. As people we must be responsible and try to live at peace with and respect the wild animals. Except for Mosquitos! I absolutely loved hearing the song birds in that beautiful meadow. Here we have few song birds. Ravens, Eagles, seagulls, Loons that sound beautiful, traveling geese and ducks. I miss the meadow larks I heard as a boy in Kansas. I understand they are nearly gone now because of the agricultural pesticides that have been used. Such a shame to lose a beautiful song bird. I had hoped to hear the Coo coo bird in your video, maybe another time. Wonderful video Vanessa. I love them! All the Best!
Most people don't know that there are NO recorded wolf attacks on humans compared to bear attacks which are few and can be researched on Wikipedia. Vancouver island Canada is a good place to find them if you ever get the chance to come to Canada. I don't hunt anymore but most hunters are respectful of nature and do a lot to preserve it. Wolves should not be hunted because their numbers are so few. Deforestation is the biggest threat to all wild life . Love your videos Vanessa and great job speaking English. Be safe.
I see that you all have as many mosquitoes as we have here in Arkansas and they are so bad in the afternoon and nearly drive us crazy. They are breeding in all the water you all have there, especially the stagnant water. That was a pretty deer and reminds me of one who plays around in my yard in the evenings. That bird in the water looks nice and the ones in the trees are sounding nice also. I hope you are having a nice week and a safe one.
A really good video. You just keep getting better at everything you do. I live in Canada which has a huge, empty land mass. Seems such a shame to take large parcels of their habitat to build large cities. More country living would be better with people spread out instead of stack and pack small apartments. God bless you Vanessa.
Great video. Are you not afraid to get tick born deceases? Besides I think there should be space for wild life not only for wolves but also bears and big cats. They are all native to the european ecosystem.
well you ask about wild animals wolves and so on, well here where i live in southern illinois USA i have wolves , bobcats, coyotes, badgers and a few others they dont bother humans here i had a wolf come up to my house and sit for a while it was huge and beautiful, i was inside and seen him from window i pecked on window he just walked off. normally wild animals wont bother you but badgers is another thing. i like to watch them. im bout 100 yards from a woods so i see a lota animals.
richard morrison Same thing, here in Pennsylvania. But most people never see them. I have seen bobcats, coyotes and different animals. Saw a red fox, one day out with a friend of mine. Never forget it.
It is natural that wolves keep the deer population down. Vanessa your videos are up there with Marty Stouffer @ 19:00 with the songbirds and waterfowl.
I really appreciate the cinematography, your time and effort shows. Keep up the great work! Regarding the Fjallraven Stuben pack; how much weight did you have in it? What would you consider the comfortable and maximum load out weights for it?
The only time I have ever heard of wolves attacking a person is in the winter when their natural foods are scarce. If I'm in camp or not, I've never seen any tracks closer than 50 feet from my site. But always try to keep the fire ashes uncoverd, or if possible keep a small fire going until you leave. They think fire is a bad thing! 🌹
There is a place for everything on Earth. Human ignorance and greed is the underlying problem. thanks for another great vid. 👍
Most of the time animals are not a problem. People tend to be more of a problem. Nice fish in the steam. Thanks and take care.

Like I said before,we need to leave these animals alone to live happily, not kill them at all.See you next time 🙂
My words! Thank you for watching!
Kind regards, Vanessa
Nice blend.
be warm and well
JB
Bavaria is beautiful ... thank you for sharing the view! We also have Daylilies (or "Tiger Lilies"). The petals are like a mild onion. Delicious! Be safe ... God Bless
Thank you for your nice comment !
Kind regards, Vanessa
Beautiful filming and a lot of the natural music of the nature going on in the background , very therapeutic video. If in nature or outside nature i only do something to defend or to sustain my self for the survival , no reason to wake up in the morning and think to kill , understandably farmers have to be vigilant
Thank you for your nice comment Stephen!
Kind regards, Vanessa
Hello Vanessa. Here in Colorado, in the Rocky Mt. National Park, the elk population is very over crowded because there are no wolves. However, I am positive that wolves will not be reintroduced to bring back a balance. Wolves should be a part of nature. Thank you so much for this video.
It is not so enjoyable (Mosquitoes). I think is the word you were looking for. Love your show just subscribed, thank you. God bless you
Top 5 reasons proving Vanessa is a werewolf.
@@sierradayhiker Yes, that's good.
That's funny!
🤗
Part 1 Maybe Little 😠 Vanessa? 😁😁
Part 2 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ewery time you 💝💝💝💝💝 👍👍👍
Parabéns ótimo vídeo.
Just found your channel I love what you are doing keep it up.
you look like an angel.mostly innocent.
Thank you for your nice comment !
Kind regards, Vanessa
LG .. Tommy
Your countryside is so beautiful. X
In South Florida and down in the Everglades, I've seen mosquitoes so thick that they made my grandfather's safari hat look completely black when I was younger.
Peaceful! TY for the video
Agreed, exept that we humans are as much a natural part of the earth as well. We too belong. But we must learn to be responsible caretakers.
I think we can both live in peaceful harmony with the wolves 👍
Wolf is creature too! Juha, Sastamala, Finland.
Love you you have a good English keep it up,🥰🌹🇺🇸👍🦋
Thank you! 🙂
I am Call Little wolf in my Cherokee heritage,OOHRAH!! USA Tennessee prepper smoky mountains Tennessee,🥰🦋🌹🙏😇🇺🇸👍, Love the video and I love the wolves.

Nice brave lady... 💖👍👍👍👌
Great moose habitat...
Peter, Petra,
and the Wolf.
Here in the UK Swedish Wolves have been reintroduced in Cornwall,it's early days but hopefully they will flourish.Shame about the Mosquitoes, but at least it was dry this trip, lovely area.
Thank you for your nice comment Mark! !
Kind regards, Vanessa
You need a Mosquito shirt and hat with face cover.....nice video!
Take care.
I like this Girl 🙂
You do wonderful camera work -- i was amazed at all them Fish in that Stream --- i would have been to anxious to go to sleep also.
Mosquitoes make me crazy! Poor Vanessa.
Alles Liebe, Vanessa
A really good video. You just keep getting better at everything you do. I live in Canada which has a huge, empty land mass. Seems such a shame to take large parcels of their habitat to build large cities. More country living would be better with people spread out instead of stack and pack small apartments. God bless you Vanessa.
Great video. Are you not afraid to get tick born deceases? Besides I think there should be space for wild life not only for wolves but also bears and big cats. They are all native to the european ecosystem.
This programme refreshing, big feet are be many week aching, 7 tablet time of Day! Juha, Sastamala, Finland.
That Fjellreven backpack looks like a very niche product. Good for day trips on crowded footpaths, not really made for bushcraft
well you ask about wild animals wolves and so on, well here where i live in southern illinois USA i have wolves , bobcats, coyotes, badgers and a few others they dont bother humans here i had a wolf come up to my house and sit for a while it was huge and beautiful, i was inside and seen him from window i pecked on window he just walked off. normally wild animals wont bother you but badgers is another thing. i like to watch them. im bout 100 yards from a woods so i see a lota animals.
richard morrison Same thing, here in Pennsylvania. But most people never see them. I have seen bobcats, coyotes and different animals. Saw a red fox, one day out with a friend of mine. Never forget it.
That was a pretty dear.
I see you not wearing any snake bite protection. Do you not have poisonous snakes in your woods.... love your videos..
It is natural that wolves keep the deer population down. Vanessa your videos are up there with Marty Stouffer @ 19:00 with the songbirds and waterfowl.
Your accent is very dreamy dear
I really appreciate the cinematography, your time and effort shows. Keep up the great work!
Regarding the Fjallraven Stuben pack; how much weight did you have in it? What would you consider the comfortable and maximum load out weights for it?
The only time I have ever heard of wolves attacking a person is in the winter when their natural foods are scarce. If I'm in camp or not, I've never seen any tracks closer than 50 feet from my site. But always try to keep the fire ashes uncoverd, or if possible keep a small fire going until you leave. They think fire is a bad thing! 🌹
