I can tell that Aika loves being on these adventures with you. She loves the outdoors as much a you. It's obvious that she would protect you with her life if need be. I'm happy that you've gotten out into the wild again.

I live in Vermont int the USA, and nearly the whole state was cleared up until the 1960's for potash and grazing sheep. Now that it's been reforested, you find old, broken down vehicles in the middle of thick forest.
We also call the sour clover "sorrel". The variety you pointed out (or a similar one found here) "mountain sorrel".It's one of my favorite trail snacks.

Glad you are feeling well enough to go out in the forest. Mosquitoes, chiggers, ticks, horse flies and black flies are bad this time of year in Kentucky. You have to spray all exposed skin and even your socks and shoes to keep ticks and chiggers out. Head net a must especially at dawn and dusk. I put out game cameras and have actually seen deer just take off running and shaking their head trying to get away from multiple large horse flies trying to land on them.

Was one of the uses.Aika is sooo big now! It only seems like yesterday when you first got her! The sounds of nature, when you first woke up....bushcraft virtual radio...love it. Noticed you had your shoes and socks off in this one a lot...Great to see and a good medicine, grounding yourself and recharging your battery...very healthy dear friend. As you were spraying on that bug spray, I could pretty much smell and taste it 😂 One of the banes of our outdoor lives, but necessary. The oriental videos...we all know what they do and I can't watch that...puts me off my food 😂 Obviously there must be some very lonely men out there that watch videos like that and you're right to not follow suit, you're way to classy and have too much respect for tgat. Nothing wrong with nudity and getting sun to your body for a short time, bathing in cold water, whether a cold stream, or a lake...we weren't born wearing clothes. But openly sexualising a video just for likes, no real bushcraft shown, fake content...I won't watch it as soon as I see the content. Good to see you looking so well under your circumstances...and good to see you tucking into that rump steak ❤ Stay well my friend and thank you for this video, its been great to see you on a long one...thoroughly enjoyed it ❤
I went Solo camping last weekend in Australia,and it was so eerily quiet. I prefer the sound of some wildlife 👌even the noisy male koala's 😂

Thanks for the Fox Tape Worm Warning. That car is from the 1930s, 90 years ago, is my guess. I wondered how all that pipe and other things got there, like the windows, and steel objects. Interesting someone had a dream to build a house well hidden, I'll bet, even back then it was remote. That person could have died out there. Time and the elements , taking back everything to the earth. It may have been a long time since anyone visited that place. Glad to see you out again, and you had someone on the camera.

It’s so helpful, and yes i am most positive that most of your viewers do agree with you that youtube hasn’t changed their guidelines on sexualized videos, and yes it has gotten much worse with these fake outdoor videos from asian countries that are so unrealistic.

Permethrin spray for clothing and gear to keep ticks and bugs away it works . lovely videography in a beautiful interesting woods . I go right by the naked bushcraft videos as they are fake .

Bats are the flying mice you were thinking of! Thermacel apparently works well, but I use citronella oil in my lanterns and have citronella tea candles as well. I live in a swamp.
19:36 I was taught the same about horseshoes, by my German mother! And my Canadian father confirmed it! Looks like a mining or logging camp. Definitely could be logging if the trees are 50ish years old, that truck looked like a 50s vintage.

I got a similar vest for my dog. He does ok with it. Mine must be on leash. He gets little animals. 40 foot long lead, and the 25-30 retractable leash. He does like camping. He lays in the stream on hot days

Looks like a great spot to camp I agree you can’t beat the sound of the birds in the morning especially when you can enjoy it with a cup of coffee I like my flask of hot coffee and I burn citronella candles to keep the mosquitoes away
It is usually 10-15 degrees cooler by streams
