I'm in my mid 50's, been riding dirt for a long, long time...in fact, rode amateur MX in the '80's, when I was much younger. Well, now I have Grandchildren...so, I bought a used CRF110, and a brand new CRF250F. It's a blast. It won't be raced, but for riding in the Black Hills of South Dakota, it's going to be perfect! I imagine it will last many, many years as well...and, I got a decent deal from my local dealer....less than $5100 out the door. I waited when I heard they were coming out with the EFI, and I'm pleased that I did.
I'd like to see a 350-450 in this line as well, finally have a suitable replacement for my XR400. Air cooled with EFI and plush but ample suspension hits the sweet spot for me.
We're getting the new CRF110 soon, my seven year old is so excited its all he thinks about! So happy I didn't buy before the EFI, I'm fine with carbs but its only a few hundred more so its worth waiting for IMO
Just bought the CRF250F last month. Fuel injection was worth the wait. Runs great in the mountains and down in the valley. Not "lean and crappy" as someone who has never ridden this bike would claim.
Hello regarding your CRF250F I'm looking into buying either the CRF125F or the CRF250F and I was wondering which one you think would fit me best as a first time rider I'm 33 years old, I'm 5'5 at 145lbs, I've only driven a dirt bike once and I loved them so now I want to get one for myself. If you could really help me out with some advice I would really much appreciate it. thank you
@@christianbustillo8928 I think you would be happy with the CRF125F. I have ridden street bikes for many years so I am used to heavier bikes. I'm 6'-1" and 190 lbs. Frankly, I think I could enjoy riding the CRF125F all day long. I'm not racing anyone, I just like riding on trails.
I have the 110 and the 250f models and they’re great good power good reliability low maintenance great for running drills. Last thing I want to do is turn drills on a 12k bike slamming hours on it doing basic things that can be done on these cheaper and funner bikes.
The 125 replaced the crf100. I had one, it had a 5 speed, no electric start but it weighed around 65 kilograms (opposed to the 80 something of the 125). If you don’t need green sticker then older Honda’s are great value too

Do you recommend the 250f for a 5'5 at 145lb male, I'm 33 but do you think I'll be able to have both feet flat on the ground once on top of it? I'm thinking of getting one of these. If you could help me out with the advice I would really appreciate it. Thank you

I want to feel comfortable on the bike with both feet flat on the ground. Which one would you recommend?
I'm curious why there is not an air cooled R version available with light weight titanium frame on all the CRF line up from the 50cc on up... The simplicity and reliability of the old XRs are real... Can't believe Honda stopped the model presence in the USA. CRFs just got fuel injection and have electric start aside from the little 50cc. Honda acts like good suspension and light weight bikes don't matter for the trail bike line up. And why don't all the CRF at least come with quick plug and play for a head light and brake light for good night time trail capabilities. And the rear fender pouch is classic XR which the new trail bike CRFs did not carry over... What a shame... And last the quick airfilter access was also key to XR fans which was not carried over to the CRF trail bike line up... Again where is an R version of all these air cooled trail bikes with a titanium frame, Enduro front and rear lights, rear fender bag, better more adjustable front and rear suspension, quick access side airfilter access, etc?
