old camera film is best as its made of that nice thin plastic and the debris moves to the little squares and gets trapped so when you remove it the debris comes with it easily
I’m a pro bicycle mechanic and aquite a few tips I’ve seen transition over to Mx. I like to add grip tape to the ends of levers on brakes for a better fee and finger grip. Goggles tear offs I like to stager so I can pull them one one at a time without pulling them all off. Silicone spray for fork and shock stantions. Colored coded tools for faster identification helps me in high stress moments. Roll of gorilla tape for the rim surfaces. To name a few
Yo, some of those tips are awesome, The best tip i ever got though was from An ex factory Yamaha rider. To bleed your front brake's. Zip tie your front brake to the throttle so that the brake lever is totally compressed. and leave it overnight the next day all of the air will have leaked out of the system without needing to bleed the air out. brake lever will now be 100% firm.
@@EctoGamer If you can't figure out how to do up your helmet, you are dead meat once you get on that bike. Even if you could decipher how to start it... not a given for someone who can't do up their helmet. You would then have to traverse the deadly minefield of physical coordination, dexterity, and balance to get it moving. Then take it out into traffic? Better buy a 'Busa and get it over with as quickly as possible. You won't be around long anyways, no need to prolong your suffering.
To prolong goggle lens life, mount a tear-off and cut the pull tab away. This is a preventative measure against hard dirt or rocks ruining a lens as quickly. Remove and replace the tear-off when necessary.
Clean the inside of the lens with white shaving cream before a hot/wet ride. It keeps the goggles from fogging up. I keep a travel size bottle from the dollar store in my riding bag.
@varnesracing2270 This is not intended to be the 'only' tear-off. Rather, a last, ideally, non-pullable tear-off that will stay behind to keep the lens from taking a beating once you run out of the others. Basically, it's just serving as a 'lens protector'.

Hands down the most informative video I ever watched. When fitting a tube it's easier to push both beads down by the valve aperture, put the valve in with ease then gently pull the top bead back up then slip the rest of the tube in then fit the top bead (I'm a tyre fitter) 👍 I feel like a pro-noob now 🙂 Thanks 👍
Using compressed air is the best way to install grips too, not just to remove. Also, I was never a fan of kinking the chain to tighten the axle nut, it is pretty simple to push against the back of the tire with your shin using your foot and hold it there while you tighten the axle nut. For cleaning the fork seals real quick you can also use a tear off. and That is not how you do tear offs at all! If you fold the tab under then it will not flip out for an easy grab. always fold the tab in on top of itself under the next tear off so that tab pops out when the above tear off is pulled. Some people like to place the first tear off on the other side in case they accidentally tear off all of them from one side at once, but the tab should still go above itself.
Im a huge mountain biker and no absolutely nothing about mx but its interesting to see the similarities and differences and how much more laid back mx is
For keeping hand grips from slipping spray the inside with hairspray it will be slippery enough to easily get it and be sticky when dry to prevent slipping.

There are a lot of radiator leak fix products, but you have to use that only for emergencies. The problem with that is, that the damn thing is gonna thicken up and clog the leak, but it will also block the other flow pipes of the radiator, which prevent cooland from flowing, and it can end up overheating the engine. The same goes for the gray pepper or whatever that is.
When you put the chain link ' clip ' on the chain. Put the opening so it faces REARWARD to the travel of the chain. This reduces the chance of getting rocks/debris hitting the link clip and opening it up.

For 20.00 u can get a lot that has heated wires u melt in and then plastic weld over never tell they there or a break even happen
