Thank you for the tour, great shop and prices. At 7:55 on the Romeo y Julieta what is that on the cigars, looks like markings on the cigars is it mold?
good eye, I noticed them as well most prominently on the R&J Linea de Oro Hidalgos. Your question of course touches upon a "controversial" topic. Plume vs. Mold. Many would say those white fuzzy spots are simply plume that has developed from oils inside the wrappers and is a fairly common, natural stage of aging cigars. However, others will say it is mold/and there is no such thing as plume. Truth is some gentlemen had plume tested in a lab and it is in fact mold. Nonetheless, it is indeed fairly common (even on $100) cigars like these and does wipe off easily. Most smokers are not too troubled by this but as I had said both opinions and feelings on this definitely do vary . cheers 😚💨
@@habanonews I completely agree with leaf discoloration of course or mottled wrappers - but this may of been a little plume which also of course is pretty normal, the shop looks fantastic btw!
Thank you absolutely impressive. What was most impressive was the vast inventory of excellent Cigars and fair pricing keep up the good work impressive. I will put the shop on my list of places to visit.😉 🌟
Thank you very much. If you have a moment please kindly check www.habanolocator.com or the Habano Locator App on Android to locate the best places to buy or smoke around the world.
Amazing looking place Laurent and I thought the video quality was fine. I would buy as many of the Hoyo DC & Lusitanias as I could at those prices! I know where I'm planning my next holiday. 😊
Love your videos on UA-cam and Instagram. Keep on doing them as much as you can. Love to watch it when I smoke a cigar. If you also can make videos that includes history and informtion about different brands, i would be verry happy 😊
Kudos to Pascal on such a beautiful humidor. Reasonably priced sticks as well. Will you be attending the Habanos Festival at the end of the month? Cheers from Mexico.
Wow! So much eye candy! but depressing for me how cheap cigars are in Corsica compared to Australia. We pay three times the price due to heavy taxes and small market economies of scale
True. Australia has one of the highest rate of cancer in the world despite its tobacco policy. Politicians treat hign end premium cigars with cigarettes which explains the high prices. Be sure that the French government is going to raise cigar prices again and again…There is no way back.
It is interesting to note that Cuban cigars are sold cheaper there considering that France have a higher tax for tobaccos compared to a lot of EU countries.
@@digitalworldhd5636 absolutely😀 i’ve never been to corsica yet but I checked flights from London to Corsica - not worth the trip just to bring back 50 sticks max. That shop that Lauren featured in Geneva might be a better option. 😀
A well known situation in France. I lived in Corsica about 15 years and my relatives always asked me to bring back tobacco and alcohol when I was coming back to mainland France. But unfortunately times are changing, even in Corsica. As you said, the price difference ils linked to an imperial decree dated from 1 811. The tax reduction, by almost 25% on the island, also concern wine. To be precise about how things will change in future, in 2020, the government decided to modify this rule, which originally resulted in an annual loss of tax revenue estimated at 26 million euros. A gradual catch-up, at a rate of 5% per year, will allow reaching, by 2025, 95% of the tariff established in mainland France. As a result, on January 1st of this year, the price of tobacco in Corsica increased more than in the rest of France and many tobacco sellers are anxious. That said, after 2025, your Behike or any other cigar will still cost you less in Corsica. The price difference will only be 5% at that time.
Well some cigars are cheaper in Andorra but Andorra is a Duty Free that is very difficult to get to and from. The BHKs are definitely cheaper in Corsica at present
You are right. My mistake. This shop is filling all the requirements to be a Habanos specialist with the walk-in Humidor and Cuban vs Non Cuban selection but it does not have the « Title of Habanos Specialist. It is treated as such by Coprova taking into account that it offers the biggest selection of cigars in Corsica far bigger than Le Havane which is the Habanos Specialist in the center of Ajaccio. I have no doubt that the shop would be a Habanos Specialist if it asked Coprova. I’ll make a comment about it in the description. Thank you.

For me it is just the leaf discoloration. It happens.

Thanks for the report. What a great shop.
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing with us, I need to put this on the list of places to go. Safe travels!
Please do!
This is an absolute dream. I was going to visit Corsica in 2022 while I was in Europe. Regretting that decision now!
You must visit it!

Not sure it worth it for 50 cigars, thats if you from the UK - not sure about other countries

I will be attending I am currently at Madrid airport awaiting my flight to Habana.
As always a great video. Even with the Sony issues. 😂
As most people who fail I blame it on the product!

@@RSHInToronto yeah, seen it after posting my reply; those prices are indeed very good👍
@@IamGio69 Prices maybe good but to get there just to buy Cigars is hell of a Journey. Stick to economic 101.

Enjoy Corsica! Do not forget to taste Corsican wines.
I think it’s cheaper in Andorra?
I think they are both very close in terms of price. Was in Andorra recently and you are looking at just under €14 for a single punch punch
well a behike 52 is 191 euro. but i think the prices are a bit mixed. some you get cheaper and some not

Do you ship to UK?
I don't ship anything and he does not either as it is illegal to ship tobacco in or out of France.
Do they do mail order
Mail order is illegal in France.
