As a bourbon drinker, museum tends to have a negative connotation. It usually means a store who has priced their bottles so out of the market, no one in their right mind would buy them.
@@GamerNxUSN, thanks for enlightening me. I didn’t know about that part. I’ll avoid that analogy in the future. But I’m sure you caught my context, which is in the sense that the Sahakian place is just a sanctuary full of valuable, rare, precious items. They do have things that Sir Zino himself has touched ; and Zino has visited the place. As an aficionado, enjoying a cigar in that place, or one from that place, that adds a little something to the experience. Imagine that. Adjust to that, the staff gives you royal treatment. I paid a visit to the shop and had the pleasure of meeting Edward Sr just last Wednesday on a trip to London and I can't thank him enough for his genuine welcome and hospitality once I'd introduced myself as a UA-cam subscriber. Due to time constraints and the fact that I was accompanied by my 14yo daughter who obviously has no interest in the place, I didn't have the opportunity to have a good look around but I did walk away with a Davidoff No2 to smoke on a special occasion and look forward to a return visit in the near future as I have my eye on a Dupont Defi lighter and hope to meet Eddie Jr next time. Thankyou to the Sahakians for being emissaries of class and sophistication in these times when such attributes are a vanishingly small commodity.
I was able to visit the shop last year and even had the chance to engage in a small chat with Edward. It was a great visit. I wasn't dressed the best (tourist attire) and only had a small budget to get a handful of cigars but I was treated like a king. I can't wait to get back and hopefully get to meed Eddie too. Shopping there is an experience unlike any other.
I visited the shop last week with my dog, having come all the way from Australia. Both Eddie and Edward welcomed both of us amazingly. Both took the time to talk to me and I can honestly say it was a true highlight of my trip to be there. I asked each for a cigar recommendation and was not disappointed. Not just a visit to a shop, but a full on beautiful experience that I will truly remember forever.
My friend visited you a few months ago from America. He spoke to you about smoking with friends around a fire and by a pond, making sure to light the cigar the Sahakian way. He also purchased some no 2’s. We just smoked them together a few nights ago. Amazing cigar. Love your videos. Hope to visit some day
I wandered into Davidoff of London earlier this year. Despite the fact that I didn't wish to purchase anything, the team were gracious and welcoming. The staff encouraged me to spend some time browsing but never pressured me to buy any products. I was given a tour of the shop and their famous humidor, and had a nice conversation with one of the attendants. I found Mr. Sahakian (Snr.) on the front step enjoying a cigar despite the London rain. He kindly stopped for a chat and indulged me by posing for some photos. Davidoff of London is a lovely stalwart of hospitality and civility. I congratulate the Sahakians on creating a fine establishment, and I look forward to visiting again on my next visit to London. I do believe I owe Mr. Sahakian some Australian whisky!
Fantastic to be able to see the shop again after 25 years! I visited the shop in 1999, as a fresh faced 23 year old visiting London from Australia for my second time and as a novice cigar enthusiast. I believe I was served by Eddie himself! I remember a well dressed gentleman, very kind, knowledgable but most of all, sincere. He recommended a Davidoff Corona and a Montecristo Tubo if memory serves me well. My two first introductions into cigars. Although I appreciated the tradition, quality craftsmanship of the surrounding shops around St James, none had the same level of outstanding service as Eddie at Davidoff. He really is an impressionable gentleman. Well spoken and impeccably mannered. Glad to see you again on UA-cam after a quarter of a century on my friend! Glad to see you're still doing well!
I've been fortunate to have been in that humidor a number of times, it's a magical place surrounded by cigars that simply are unattainable back in New Jersey. I've brought many back with me as a special treat for my dearest friends. Eddie is correct..the Oliva is an impressive smoke that is priced fairly and full of flavor and enjoyment. Best wishes to Edward, Eddie and young Max.
When I visited the shop at the end of this November, it impressed me a lot. Eddie was there and was hands-on in the business of the shop. He looks similar to the videos. He was so kind and hospitable. His team was also too. They helped me immediately with my choices. You should try to that valuable experiences. Thanks guys!
Wow! Great personation Eddie. I wish I could be a part of that world,a fine dressed and sophisticated man. Thanks for the tour! God bless from the States
When I visit London I'm definitely stoping by the Davidoff store. Or to say it correctly, when I visit the Sahakians, I'm definitely going to see a bit of London as well.
I second that notion. From what I could see those looked like some interesting guitars and would love to hear Eddie talking about them and his musical interests.
The epitome of the true “gentleman” really lies here. Just oozing pure class and elegance. I aspire to visit this establishment one day and be part of this brand
Amazing - thank you for the tour and all of your videos. You and Kirby Allison have helped introduce me and welcome me into the wonderful world of cigars this summer!
I often walk past the shop and have a glance through the windows, but have never been inside, so it's nice to see. When I'm dressed more suitably I will pop in. Will be placing a small online order later!
I wish I had been into cigars back in 2008 when we had a port call there on the way home from deployment. We ported in Portsmouth, did a day there, and a day in London, and a day in Bath. Have always wanted to go back to visit for real when not under the restrictions of the Navy.
True gentlemen . Learned so much from their videoes and keep learning still . Love cigars even i am just starting smoking them . Love this style of life and everything about it 😉

A lovely and enjoyable virtual visit to the Davidoff store. Eddie selling the brand to perfection. I look forward to the various offshoot videos such as the umbrellas and guitars. Also a walking stick one ? Did I see the ghost of Edward senior there in passing ……..
Wow love the Cohiba section that I would never see here in the US. By far my favorite cigar that I have ever had. I look forward to stopping in one day and saying hello. Amazing toy store.
Thank you for the tour Eddie. As someone who has only had glimpses of the shop I enjoyed it and could imagine how wonderful the walk in humidor must smell! I also enjoyed the special guest appearance by a certain someone! 😀❤
It's nice to see the shop Eddie, I will be in London in a few weeks from now and have booked into the sahakian lounge. I look forward to enjoying a nice cigar and some whiskey.
Just stopped by 2 weeks ago for the first time, visiting from the US. The store is absolutely beautiful in person! Max was such a huge help, and he imparted a lot of wisdom about Cuban cigars. Bought my first box of Partagas Series D #4, and an assortment of Cohiba’s. Topped it off with a Davidoff Lighter and Cutter. It was such a memorable experience, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you are in London, you must stop by.
My first stop on my next trip to London: Davidoff to meet Eddie. What a classy gentleman! wonderful videos and i can't wait to get my hands on some of the Arturo Fuente and Trinidad cigars i just saw in this short tour!
Great to see the shop, finally. I have spent so many hours, watching the corner, where you make all your wonderful videos with Kirby Allison. I hope some day to visit London and see the store in real life. My plan was to smoke some other cigars tonight, but after watching this video, I think I will take a Davidoff out of my humidor also 🙂
Had the pleasure of visiting last week and acquired some of the Davidoff Nicaraguan 10th anniversary, very excited to smoke. Would love to hear about the umbrellas, have often seen them in videos and been curious.
