Thank you!!! That's exactly what I wanted to learn!!! Now I'm going to go watch ALL your videos. Thanks again! (btw, I have that book, but it's much easier to learn by watching someone do it)
Yeah I’ve spent hours trying to decipher what the book is talking about. It’s even worse when you start to look at different knots 😂. Glad I could help a little
Ben doing the round braid for awhile and been looking for away to finish it off . Thanks I been doing a bow serving type wrap that’s a pain with only two hands .lol thanks
It’s a very interesting stopper knot which I have tied many times at the end of braided bolo ties, but it’s not a Turk’s head and is actually called a crown knot.
Well thank you for the correction sir. I was doing some reading and it does get confused with the turks head and my handy book from tandys probably has that wrong in it. Still learning as usual haha
I've never seen that kind of braiding with leather strips. You have many skills. Thank you for sharing with us. Keep up the good work.
Thanks dorthy
I like the way you start the Turks head nott

@@bustinout no problem, I’m still learning too.
I have been round braiding for nearly 50 years and always known that knot as a Turks head. The first stage was known as a crown knot
Great work. Can you say how wide the leather strips are in inches? 1/4 inch?..or?
I think these are 1/8 inch wide. it makes for a tighter braid but smaller.
Did u do another video with knot for where the ring is?
