I've struggled with getting this knot down. You have presented how to tie it perfectly. Thank you for doing this

Thanks mate, that's the best tutorial I seen on knot tying, you have the right approach to teach. Thanks from Australia.

Dude! I have been looking for this video for a long time. I have a Robert Black video, but not this one. Not having seen "this" video, but being familiar with his teaching style, I feel as though for have recreated it. Thank you so so much.

This was the clearest explanation of this method I have ever seen.
How do you size the knot for different diameters?

This would be a cool ring. Or even the multicolor. Is That's possible?

You would need to tighten in on a base of some sort such as a wooden or metal ring.

How do you know how thick to cut your string to cover your thickness of your project you are putting the knot over, does circumference come into it.

@@garywhite5639 mostly just experience can do this best. I have not figured out a mathematical way.

If we want to do a Spanish Ring knot, do we start it on the mandrel and will we be able to tighten it down like the Turks Head knot?

Would this work on a semi flat surface, like making a grip on a handle for a crescent wrench?
