I enjoy knot tying because it forces you to slow down and really look at things. A lot of times we are simply too smart for our own good. With knot tying, I am always amazed at how simple a lot of seemingly complex things are. I have tried to make this bracelet for myself several times, and come up with elaborate, yet bulky solutions. Here is demonstrated that the simplest solution is the best, but my mind was moving too fast to grasp it. All that to say, another great work J.D.
You did crossover twist left and crossover twist right (normal four strand braid) and crossed lines with the same pattern. I like the crossover twist left both times and the crossover twist left, then crossover straight across pattern. I make a quart turn of the piece each pass, to keep track of the pattern and it goes just as quickly as usual. When I cross the lines to begin the patterns, I like doing the spiral pattern that emerges too. I then counter twist the whole piece to make four strand crosses when doing the double crossover left twist four strand pattern. This creates a half solid and half accent color patterned cross.
yo jd i really like all the vids you have made and in fow days im going to watch your first vid to this one and tye ever knot you have to offer :) happy holidays, ed :)
Recently I thought you you started a weave by folding a section of paracord in half and started by twisting it about six times before weaving the other through. I am wanting to make some necklaces for school. I was wanting to know if you could help. I have both of your books and can't seem to find it in any of those books. Thanks again for you great channel.
JD, would you please make some videos of the more difficult & challenging weaves like the ones pictured on your Facebook account? I think it's time to move on to advanced weaves. Great videos, by the way. I have learned all I know from them, & I have only been tying for 4 months. Many thanks for all you do.
Great tutorial! I enjoyed no music.... Let those that need noise put there earbuds in using a different device. I hope to try this with leather. Great video.
darn the 4 strand diamond knot is tough doing it from the spiraled version because the colors are arranged differently the vid is awesome though thank you
I wonder if you think you can take a 12 inch braided Para-cord and braid over a couple of time would it be almost as stiff as a 12 inch stick. interesting idea for a pare of Nun-chucks?????
how long have you been making bracelets? this one i made for my auntie she loves it! your a pro i would choose you for the best paracord bracelet maker!
JD, do you by any chance have a video of how to finish this off on a buckle of some type? Can't find a decent looking finish video anywhere so far. If anyone knows a way I'm sure it's you. Thanks
My aunt just gave me a hammock and I was planning to use paracord for the rope to hang it. I wanna do a round braid but I am unsure on how long I should make. If I buy 100' of cord and cut it into four each part for the braid how long would both braids be and is that enough cord to use.
Your videos have been very very helpful, I appreciate your work. But......out of all the things you make, I am still having trouble with the 4 strand round braid, trying to come out of a monkey fist, using 550 paracord. It just doesn't look right to me. Please give me some sort of help here. Thanks.
Can this be done in pink and White or any other colors besides green and black the green and black is good color but I might want something a little different like blue and white jesus colors
you DONT go to fast. I don't see it as a step by step follow along arts project at daycare. Thank you for showing how this is done. IF I need more time to get my own rope right.... I just pause the video.
dude i love your tutorials but you gotta do something different with your music selection. the one in this one literally no bullshit put me to sleep i had to watch it 5 times to finish my project. Get something thats a little more upbeat not rap or anything just something with a faster tempo.
Just have to thank you again! These were so easy compared to many but fun to learn. Thanks JD!

Mahalo a nui. Very easy to learn from this video. I have a project for school working with cordage and this will definitely help a lot.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ...I have been trying different methods for days and yours has been the best! Finally got it.
This seems easier & quicker than the method I learned at camp - under 2, over 1. This is great for lanyards & dog leashes. Thanks, JD.
Such a soothing background track! Great video also!
Many, many thanks - from Poland!

After a lot of trying and failing I got the hang of it, thank you
I've already stopped and started 4 or 5 times and I'm completely f&&%# lost. Your comment gives me hope that I'll eventually get it.

Thanks for the tutorial.

In full screen, you can use the space bar (assuming you're using a keyboard) to pause and play
Milles merci je suis maintenant capable de faire des scroubidou ❤❤❤

I dont think JD will ever make a video on how to make these bracelets with buckles.
Muchas gracias, excelentes tus videos y la música es genial. Saludos!
What length would start off with to make a necklace instead of a bracelet?
Excellent

Michael, check out JD's Snake Weave Two-Color. I believe this is what you are looking for.
Do you have a video that shows how to finish a knot by tying the strand around the bracelet, thank you
wow they are amazing how do you learn all of them
Perfecto!!!
Gracias!!🥂🥂👏👏👍

Good music.
Hey love you vids just curious on where to buy paracord I've been using shoe lace :P
Amazon
Bored Paracord sells it. I buy from Hobby Lobby too
nice!!
When you do the braid the text goes right over it so i couldn't see what you were doing
this thing drove me up the wall. Thanks to your slow example though i finally managed to get it going.. not a fan of this style tho.
Badass
Can I use yarn?
do you sell these
so hard😭😭
I've been trying to tie this pattern for hours now, literally hours, and it always looks like uneven shit. I can't make it look uniform at all.
U didn't talk but thank u for doing it slow though u don't talk u at least did it slow
woOow
May I suggest some actual audio instructions in stead of the music? It's so much harder to follow along with the distraction of the music.
what? you got copyrighted for audio????
I don't get how to do it. you don't explain it enough
I'm joking thanks it helped
روعه
cant even get the stupid loop
Way too loud and annoying music. Please, people, when you make videos, give some thought to the music you use. Preferably none at all.
man you go WAY to fast
you DONT go to fast. I don't see it as a step by step follow along arts project at daycare. Thank you for showing how this is done.

chphotovideo just shut up I was not talking to you.
He goes too slow for me I get frustrated waiting for the next step, but good things come to those who wait! Thank you OP!
To long

anoptimisticone it wasn't a "diss" merely a suggestion but whatever snowflake. Apparently you got triggered and felt a need to add you 2cents lol
go slower. you might know how to do this but i dont.
