Have always loved Lighthouse. They never got the appreciation they deserved. Their music moved me, still does. I was saddened when I read about Skip’s death. For a time he lived beside my parents house in Mississauga. I only saw him a couple of times because I was away at University. But he kindly gave my parents a copy of an album he had done. Sadly I lost it somewhere along the way.
I feel, the same way. Saw them a few times back then. Here's are links to them playing at my High School in Simcoe (not the best pic) and then one of them on the marquee for the Summer Gardens in Port Dover (always went down there Sunday nights for some great bands).. pbase.com/duncanbristow/image/148661935 pbase.com/duncanbristow/image/73015467
They played at our high school as I suspect they did at yours and we used to see them at the Summer Gardens in Port Dover on Sunday nights.. pbase.com/duncanbristow/image/148661935 pbase.com/duncanbristow/image/73015467

Lead singer still sounds excellent. Slowed this version down, but still brings back good memories.
Bob McBride was the vocalist when Lighthouse recorded One Fine Morning. Unfortunately he passed away in 1998.
Saw this classic preformed live in 1973 or 74 in St. John’s NL.

Great song!!
All this time I thought this was a song by an East LA band. Who knew they were Canadian.
Love this song, too bad the sound quality isn't better.
I know, I only had a little P&S camera with me at the time 😞
