Great horn, highly sought after (though some of them were not well-made). Marc has an incredible altissimo range with power to spare. Reminded me of David Sanborn, who died about a week ago.

Then ten years later I was playing lead trumpet and hanging over on a double C in Memphis State, Dr. McKay asked me not too this again. lol

the guys didn't get "old" - and they are surely one of the best things that ever happened to pop/rock history. this band is fantastic. beautiful. wonderful. period.
I'm a 15 year old kid from AUS. i feel like the only one that appreciates this kind of music. i also dread the moment when everyone that heard these guys in their prime are dead. Will there only be a few of us left in the world that like this stuff. I sure hope not.
One of if not the best American band of my generation. First concert I ever saw when I was about 14 and my sister took me to see them at the International Amphitheater in Chicago as they were touring in support of the first big hit Listen To The Music at which time I thought was one of the greatest songs I had ever heard. Loved them ever since the first time I heard it on the radio. 🐢 and here I am still loving them in April of 2023

This live performance is why the Doobie Brothers were the best .... the Sax section really ads to the live performance. They started in San Jose, California (my hometown) while I was in Vietnam 1970. Been a fan ever since. God Bless 'Em all. Every concert was a treat for sure and they were always great to the fans. RDC .....

Now THAT is music!! What I love about all these bands made up of real musicians is that the line up might have to change but their sound never does - The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd as well just as examples.

No it doesn’t. It’s good. But entirely different singers except Pat. Arguably it’s better. Cowan sings much higher than Tiran Porter. But not the same. By the own admission the sound changes.
