You know, it's just so wonderful that your children are able to spend their life with both their mom and dad. I think that's why bug is so precious. She knows she is loved and valued.
Thank you for showing you and buggy using a seat belt on the tractor! It made my heart happy!
"Good job Munchie, that was pretty good" Such a complimentary and confidence instilling young lady, even if she is only 2. She is letting her brother know she feels he did a darn good job driving that lawn mower! I love that! And love seeing Munchie helping his dad!
When kids do that is because they hear it from the parents ! It’s a great sign of a good household
You can see both of you Ben and Meg the absolute huge sense of pride that you have in your children. Little Buggy wraps all the men in her family around her little finger. Be proud parents you are teaching these children great ethics in life.
Corbin is your constant shadow, Ben. Give him another day or two and I think he could run the place on his own. All of your kids are exceptional - very impressive!
I hope we get to meet Ben's parents when they come visit!
I love how Buggy was so encouraging to Corbin driving the lawn mower. "Great job Munchy! That was pretty good!"
When kids do that is because they hear it from the parents ! It’s a great sign of a good household
Your videos are a breath of fresh air. Awesome homesteading content, well behaved kids, and delicious home grown and homemade food. Your day in the life vlogs are the best!! Take care and God bless ♥️♥️
You can put a tin can or small bucket over top of strawberries while adding mulch and you don’t have to worry about smothering them
That's what I to too.
👍 great minds
Great idea and so simple!
Great tip ❤️🙏
Necessity after all is the mother of invention! Great idea!
Thanks for that!
Meg how do you put up with that man? LOL! Y'all are the best! It's so great that you both include your own content! I love that!
My jaw dropped when he said “looks like something the dog left”. Good thing they both have a great sense of humor. 😂😂
@@lisagreenleaf5678 🤣🤣🤣I met them at Ben's hog butchering class, and when it was done, I teased him and said "not bad for a California boy" he gave me the stink eye and laughed. They both are so sweet and fun! So real...just like you see them in the videos!
Corbin is sure a consistent, diligent helper. Have a Weird Wednesday.
Meg the seal! So cute to see y'all having some playful laughs in the kitchen. Those bagels looked AMAZING!!!! Great job.
Buggie says "good job Munchie, that was pretty good" when Munchie drives the zero turn & dump trailer in place by the orchard trees. Loved it! Those bagels looked great.
Buggy is just too cute you guys are making memories
...and she is so full of compliments, which makes her even cuter...such a sweet little girl!😍🤗
Meg, you are a rockstar. I’m sure it’s not as easy as you make it look. Well done mama.
How cute looking out and seeing Buggie on the tractor waiting for dad to ride her around!❤ Nice bagels, Meg!
Terri TN. Really? Where is the common sense?
I'm always so impressed with the work ethic you are teaching your children.
Those young men don't seem to mind getting their hands dirty. Good job, Dad!
Buggy is going to be running this vlog in a few years, no shyness in sight!
She’s the star of the show now❤
they look amazing Meg GREAT JOB
Ben’s face melted like only a girl-daddy’s face can when Buggy went, “Wheeeee!” on the tractor. She’s got y’all wrapped around her little finger. 😂
I don't know which is more cute..."good job munchie! That was pretty good" 🥰🥰 or the father/son matching hats! Love it all!
You guys have come so far since moving to the property. An awesome job. Thank you for bringing us along with you.
A big thank you Meg and Ben for bringing us along on your journey. Big hugs to all of you from upstate NY (Farm country) Buggy likes to say bye the way Meg does too cute!!! Bagels look delish!!
I absolutely LOVE watching your videos for many reasons. 1st and foremost is how awesome it is to see how your family works together and ending the day at the table having a family meal starting with a prayer. I really think that’s what is missing in family’s these days. Working together and giving thanks to our Lord and Savior for all the blessings received. You guys are doing a great job and I love following you. Love and (((hugs))) from Utah.
Meg those bagels look awesome! When I make them I add 1/2 cup of baking soda to the boiling water and it gives you the chewy outer crust like malt. Gotta say I use your bread recipe for most of my bread goods too. Beet pickled eggs are the best!
Add honey to the boiling water.
I bet your house smells amazing with all the wonderful food Meg cooks. Bagels look so good. Great job sweet lady!
Congratulations Meg, I know you love feeding your family delicious and "nice looking" food. You seriously need to put a recipe/cook book together. 🎉😊
Love when Meg has a recording day!! You both are the best!! God bless!!
Meg, when you start with the tongs on pulling the bagels out of the water, then you switched to chop sticks, I started talking to myself saying if she only had a wire strainer ladle, then low and behold you pulled one out, yeah good for you!!
How sweet to watch your videos at the end with a smile 😀
Love little Miss Buggy's words of encouragement to Corbin, very sweet
Best memories is what she's gonna remember with you on that tractor Ben
Great getting all the young men out to help but darn the rain! Ben, the truth is the truth, each cook has their strengths. Congrats on the Bagels Meg!!
Ben, I notice you are not cutting grass as much. Is that for the bees to have wild flowers/etc to gather. Meg, what is the brand of your dough bowl mixer? Do you like it better than the kitchen-aid type? Love watching you all. Thanks for sharing your family life.
I believe it's a Bosch 😊
I think Meg’s bread skills have definitely improved over the past 10 years. She’s had lots of practice. Everything looks great! I canned my leftover cowboy candy brine to use for a meat marinade. I might have to use it for eggs. Oh….quail eggs. Yum! 😂
Buggy is so adorable. Love how she wants to be with you Ben.
Just saw a short clip of Ben's talent on the guitar. Why are we not blessed to see you play on this site?
It was lovely.
Yous guys are the most specialist refreshing inspirational loveliest earthlings EVER!!! ty..xoxo 🥰🖐👍✌🤟🤪
Beautiful bagel success Meg! And after raising Mangalitsas and AGHs, you can add Buggy to the ham on the property. She's a hoot! Funny how Corbin is in most of the vlog until there is food, and then, you lured in the rest of the tribe. Enchiladas muy bueno!
So years down the line when Buggy has a Boyfriend and he comes to see her on his big red tractor that's going to be the one!😂😂😂❤
😉 tractor ❤ 🚜 😂 I bet you're right.
You have a bunch of good looking helpers and a sassy little cheerleader! Love the Hollars!
Oh wow every thing looked delicious, hope everyone gets an egg and bagel 🥯 for breakfast tomorrow morning ! I think Meg is definitely a keeper!
I had to go back and listen 3 times when Buggy said "Good job Munchie, that was pretty good."(and it really was BTW Corbin) It made me laugh so much. And Meg, you are so right about beet pickled eggs, they are delicious! And even before you said it, when Ben joked about people wondering why he kept you around, I was thinking of all the delicious food you make. Definitely not the only reason, but it must be up near the top of the list!
That child is just beautiful in every single way, inside & out. Much love from the UK xxxxx
There is nothing more beautiful and loving as the hands that kneads the bread that feeds her family
Those bagels look good enough to eat! Yummy!
You're such a special kind of joy ❤ I love watching you share your day with us ❤️
The joy of the bagel moment juxtaposed with the oven mit seal moment was cinematic gold. 😂😂😂
You did a great job on them bagels!! Buggy is getting so big I love her helping you guys. She loves working I'm the yard with dad an the boys an loves helping mom in kitchen!! I'm an empty nester an seein her reminds me of me an mine! Enjoy it!! They grow so fast! I hope ya'll have a great week !!
A fun video. Meg always amazed me with her multi items cooking. And ot sll looks so good. Ben and the boys work great together. 💕
I'm drooling! The eggs the bagels and the beef enchiladas. I can see your a great cook and love to cook. And what a darling little girl. Great family. God bless you all.
I just love how your kids are with you all the time and work hard. Good for the soul. I also love the kids never have shoes on.
I can’t wait to see Meg’s garden project! Meg, you make it all look so easy. You both do. I went back the other day and watched your first Thanksgiving on the road when you grilled a duck. The boys have grown so much. Buggy is just into it all!
Corbin is a good worker ! Buggy is a good eater !
Thanks Meg! You just reminded me to get my Instant Pot going.
Meg i honestly think you could win many of cook off's!! Everything you make looks so delicious! ❣❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❣
I liked the style of video in the kitchen with no music. Just the sound of cooking and the natural background sounds.
Boiled eggs and bread? Nice, fishing on Memorial Day weekend! Cool, bagels! Cowboy pickled eggs! Corbin to the rescue for the trees! I like that trailer you have. Great job putting the mulch down around the orchard. Yay, Meg's bagels turned out great! That enchilada casserole sure looks yummy! Thanks for this video Hollar family!
😊she’s so adorable 🥰
Them bagels look delicious! Great job, Meg! Ben you’re always improving the homestead, hardest working man that thinks it’s a vacation…lol Y’all have four handsome hard working boys and one beautiful little sweet girl. Y’all are blessed!
So many things to love in this video. My first attempt at bagels came out fairly well, but they didn't last 24 hours as we gobbled them down. Cowboy Candy Pickled Eggs: wouldn't they make an amazing egg salad sandwich? Of course, you'd have to have some left after those jars get opened. My daughter tended my garden while I was out of town, and now when she stops by she checks the strawberry plants for those garden berries she's become addicted to. Little sister is always a joy, but your houseful of boys is becoming a houseful of men! Time flies when you're having fun.
I just love your videos, thanks so much for taking us along! ❤
Meg looks like a wonderful cook you’re a lucky Ben. I love pickled eggs but they must be dill not sweet. My wife makes the best deviled eggs and she puts dill relish in the filling so good 😊 Love Your videos it’s great to see something different then all the rest of them most of them
That Buggy too cute. 😂
No dog left these bagels behind 🤪🤪🤪
They turned out looking scrumptious 🤩🤩.
Your family is so precious!
Hey Hollers, Buggy complimenting Corbin like the Forman She is ,pricless❤.
We sure could use some Rain😢.
87° tomorrow 🥵!
JO JO IN VT 💞
Great Job Mum🌞.
P
Love the bagels, I have tried a couple times but maybe once more…😀
Sister is so stinking cute, such a Joy to be invited into your day. Thank you
I’m thinking of doing the comfrey, blueberries in my orchard…
When I make bagels I broil, boil, and then bake. Works beautifully every time. I love you blog. I’ve been watching since the beginning for the past few months. I’m so impressed
Y'all had me laughing from start to finish today.
You all are one attractive family.
When Corbin is on screen my granddaughter stops in her tracks to watch. LoL
Wow, wonderful vlog, filled with tidbits of your life! Thanks for sharing! Blessings to all🤗💜🇨🇦
Meg, I hope you get help washing up all the pots and pans and dishes and, well everything once you've provided such a wonderful days meals! You're awesome!
You know if it looks like a bagel and tastes like a bagel…. They look awesome Meg. Nice work!
Hello Hollars a great visit with you. I tried making pickled eggs 50+ years ago as I loved the ones my grandma made but, no internet then and only my memories as a wee girl, I got it very wrong. Never attempted again. I think at excess egg time this season I will try again! Thank you for having us at your place for the day. It was a great watch. 💕💕🌻🌻
Lol Meg that was a great seal.
Hey Meg and Ben, it has been a minute..I have been watching, but just wanted to tell you the editing skills on this vid were fabulous. Kiss the kids. 💚 from Ireland.
Thank you, Meg for your bread recipe! Buggie makes me smile 😊❤
Fab job on the bagels Meg and what a superb idea for breakfast. Doubt you will have any leftovers, but if you do, spicy bagel bites are so good.
Must do your heart good Ben to see how good the fruit trees are coming on.
I believe I found your channel about a month or so ago and I have to say that I love watching all your videos. I'm binge watching pretty much whatever comes up on my feed. I love how you all work together and enjoy watching Meg in the kitchen. While I don't have animals, I do love canning, foraging and making my own herbal medicines & tinctures. Blessings from Maine!
What a jam packed video guys!!!! Loved every minute of it.
Let your bagels boil a little longer in the water to get a better rise. Careful about transferring them to boiling pot and baking tray so they do not deflate. Super job. So glad you did not give up and came back to giving it another try. I like the sourdough bagels, after the 24 hour ferment you go through the same process, they are just more digestible from the fermentation time. You are amazing Meg, and all your family as a team of worker bees.
I know y'all have Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors on your dry erase board; and it's funny and cute, but when I watch y'alls videos, it's nothing but Little House of Happiness that shines through. I just love every video that y'all put out and I'm always smiling from ear to ear from beginning to the end. Thanks for taking the time to share y'alls life with us. We really appreciate it.
I liked that music, fall draws near, and they taste like bagels because they are. And of course the little one cheers my morning.
Ben your videos are the best working with your children and Meg is all time baking bread bagels it looks awesome enjoy them
When I make beagles, I shape them into a ball, then poke a finger through and stretch them into shape. Also, boil them in baking soda water. The sugar and salt may cause your dough to fall apart. We love pickled beets and eggs. Mmmmm.
I was just watching the latest Simple Living Alaska and Eric signed off just like Ben does. All I could think of was 'I wonder if Meg and Buggy saw it?' It made me smile.
Used to go to a bagel house for jalapeño cheddar bagels. Would eat them for breakfast as is-like a donut. Cheese was both worked in AND sprinkled on top. Jalapeños were chopped and worked in. Try it. You won’t be disappointed!
Great Choice on the music, when the boys are finishing the woodchips !!
Good to see you guys! Buggy is at such an amazing age 😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰. Hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤
Looks like another awesome day. I need to try making bagels - they looked so good, Meg! I know you've shared your bread recipe so many times but thanks again for sharing again.
you guys make my day - love your interactions with eachother and your wee ones.. keep up the great vids
Well done Meg...bagels and pickled eggs...YUM!!! Looking forward to 'meeting' the parents 😎
Wow, Meg, I was so totally impressed (again) with the bread and those delicious looking bagels🤗🤗!! You really amaze me with your culinary talents😘. I love it when you switch back in forth in your filming💜!
I bet you could make some mean apple cinnamon, or glazed donuts. Meg have you ever tried sweet potato biscuits? They are out of this world!
A large slotted spoon would be make it easier moving the bagels. Buggy is just too adorable.
Leading, Learning, Loving Everyday the Hollar Homestead way!! Buggie hasn't ever known a day without her family.
Hi Ya'll Im a new viewer I live in alittle horse town (Ocala) in Florida I live in the historic district so they wont let us plant gardens so I really enjoy you're channel maybe one day I'll have my dream homestead! You're family is so beautiful God Bless Ya'll May you have many Blessed Beautiful Harvests💥🙏💥 you're little Angel is so precious!! Her big brothers will be taking good care of her for sure!!❤❤❤
When I make pickled beets I put some hard boiled eggs in the jar too. We like to eat them when the white of the egg is colored. It is a summer tradition.
The look on Megan’s face after Ben said her bagels were good, at her comment. Wow these are good like she doubted her self. Don’t doubt yourself, Meg I wish I could make bread, but I’m not a bread maker, and all my bread comes out flat.
I just love your channel! The gardening, animal raising, and cooking are all superb , and to top it off, you have your hard-working, camera shy boys and little Sister! I predict she will be making videos of her own in a few years! ❤💕❤️💕❤️💕
