I cleaned out the original carb a couple of times. It was in bad shape the first time. I got it to run but it did not last long.
I just got in from power washing the walkway, after a few tweaks it is running like a champ.
      Thank you for stopping by.
      Stay well, Joe Z

It's a shame that it wasn't a direct replacement. You'd be up "Big Nasty" Creek without a paddle if the piece you had to exchange was broken or damaged on the old carb or if you damaged it in getting it out or installed in the new carb. But I will remember HIPA next time I need a replacement carb. Way to save the day, Joe. Hi to Johnny.

On these after market carbs you may every so often get a no go. But I find for the most part they either work right out of the box or require a little fiddling around. Also if you should a bad one send it back within the time frame to get a refund or a replacement. A little waste of time but is not often the case. If you should need any parts, shopping at Hipa or Amazon using my links would help support my channel.
I just said hi to Johnny & he said for me to say hi back.
      Stay well, Joe Z

@@JOEZEP54 I like supporting those I'm subscribed to, so I'll use your link to see if the part I need is listed. Nice of Johnny to say Hi back. I know you're proud of him.
