I was able to buy one!!! The Kingdom Hearts design had me in love the moment I laid eyes on the mousepad. I never would have known about this mousepad if I wasn't for your review, thank you!
Sorry about that! It's hard to balance the audio where you can hear the glide, but also at the same time not make it too loud, I'll lower it a bit more In the future.
Can u compare it with the upcoming Hana that I know you've tried? If u can disclose some details, that is. I just wanna know if I should wait and drop the extra dough on the Hana.
I've heard of a couple people using things like granite or marble tiles as mouse pads before I have to get my hands on one and try it for myself. It may actually be good!
@@mel0nFPS its polished so its very fast and slick but since its stone it also grips your hand alot so you can stop on a dime which makes flicks very nice i do recommend trying it if you can get your hands on one
Oh my bad, I was going off the specs listed on the box & what LockOn told me before launch. I wonder if the glass itself is 3mm thick but the base adds the extra mm, maybe that's why it changed. Thanks for letting me know though!
Sadly the IKEA GLASS was discontinued last year and IKEA recalled all the remaining stock. The only place you can find them is on ebay etc but they're marked up significantly due to the product's popularity.
@@mel0nFPS Fair enough, I had the SP-004 on order and was gonna cancel to save some money if the perf was close enough. I'll stick with the SP-004 and give the HARUT a go when it's not limited to 300 units lol
@@mel0nFPS that's good to hear. I was hoping they weren't trying to copy Glassworks and make limited runs. Seems like the fad now to do that. So that is good to hear! I will pick up one once they are more readily available! Gotta add to my collection! I mean I'm not a mousepad goblin. 👀 😂
@@TheRedMarauderMostly all glass companies start off doing limited runs. It would not be ideal as a new company to have unlimited pads without knowing their own value in the market. Glsswrks is no difference, their next pad after Hana will not be limited runs.
Ooh that's a tough one, the KIN will be more controlled by a pretty large margin, but the Harut performs faster but still controlled. At the end of the day I think it would come down to availability and since the Herut is limited to 300 units. The KIN will be more widely available.
@@mel0nFPS Thanks for the response! May I ask how much you've broken in your Kin? The kin is my first glass pad so I don't have reference, but I've broken in my Kin hard (intentionally) and it's so much faster now.
Would either one of yalls recommend the Kin for a first time glass pad user? I haven't tried any glass pads before but was curious about the Cerapad Kin as many others have said it has good control. I wanted a more basic looking pad and it feels like the Wallhack SP-004 would be too quick for someone who has always used cloth pads. I mostly play Apex Legends and other casual FPS or single player games. I'll be using it with the upcoming Pwnage Stormbreaker Max CF, first with the stock PTFE and maybe try out the Obsidian Air dots as mel0n mentioned the donuts are too big for the Stormbreaker.
I find it really hard to justify the 100+ dollar price tag of these glass mouse pads, especially when glass skates are 20 dollars a set and in my experience have similarish feel. Not even considering that some 20-30 dollar pads are at or are a better value than some premium cloth pads.
By far, my favourite peripheral reviewer on the scene. Can't thank you enough for all the work and how in depth you do all your reviews. Never change.
Appreciate it!
The best reviewer in the business having a new glass pad recommendation? Ok, here’s my money Lockon
Let me know if you get your hands on one!

Would you know how this compares to the Pulsar Superglide Glass pad v2?!
Also love how in-depth you go into it man. 👊
I will try it thanks for sharing ❤
Preordered mine but did not see a release date. Do you know when they start shipping?
I think end of the month? Not 100% sure though sorry
We'll start shipping as soon as we have them packaged and ready to go! Working through them right now.
Current aim is Oct 30th!
Can you compare skin stickiness with the Kazemis surface? I absolutely do not need a sleeve with my Kazemi so im curious if Harut preforms the same
Hey! The Harut is slightly stickier but by a very slight margin. Totally unable without an arm sleeve but it'll depend on the environment.
@@mel0nFPS thank you so much!
Did you ever test the glaze from Laonda?
A comparison would be nice.
I don't have that pad sorry. So I can't give a comparison.

If you want the Harut, you should buy it now before they sell out.
Can't talk about the Hana in depth, but it's similar to the KAZEMI in many ways, the Harut is still more controlled though.
lmao i got the definition of a ikea glass i currently use a old large super flat granite tile from when they renovated my house

Will the smell fade or is it something that is going to be there for a good while?
The smell faded after a few days of use, but I didn't air my pad out like I should have.

The only thing about this glasspad and glasspads now. Is they are doing limited runs. Which is very annoying.
Since this is their first ever pad they had to do a limited run, but they're planning on making a version that'll be available all the time soon!
