@@deepcustomuknown3625 i was just hoping they make another skate in some sort of plastic. glass skates usually wear out the pads quicker. also my personal preference is glasspad over glass skate.
love the vids. with all the new skates that have come out could you please do comparison of the best skates for the best glass pads, im using the obsidian pro but well need to get new ones, and might get the new cerapad so would love to see your comparison :D ty
If I get a break in my schedule I'll make a video for sure! Personally speaking I like the Obsidian Air and Pro Air skates for glass, I've been using the Obsidian Airs on pads like the HARUT and the more controlled Air Pro skates on pads like the BEAST. Fro the KIN both will work but due to the pads controlled nature I'd say the Obsidian Air skates would be better, but it's really up to preference and what you like the best.
u talked about how the dot skates sink into the infinitymice ruin, i have a infinitymice speedv2 mid and i was about to order obsidian air dots. will i have the same issue since the pads are similar ? u didnt clarify for the ruin if it was mid or xsoft
I have been testing my meteorite dots on a few different pad surfaces now and have come to the conclusion that they are very fast, super low initial friction on SMOOTH surfaces. On the speed V2 mid it's probably one of the best feelings I've had in a while in terms of speed and low static friction, it almost matches the feel of a skypad sometimes. So if anyone's going to pick up these dots they need to make sure they have a very smooth pad. Hien, Aqua control Pro, Saturn etc are NOT compatible with these dots.
@@Speeeedy I had a feeling different surfaces would make these feel better, so weird because other glass skates don't have this weird variance in their performance. I assume its the shaping that's causing this but who knows.
@@mel0nFPS I'd also assume the shape is what makes these stand out. Other glass skates usually have a larger flat surface area where that "static electricity" friction feeling can really build up. Edit: If you don't already have the Nitrofactory skates planned for a review I'd definitely check them out, atleast just for the shape. I've been using the PLZ-S (speed) dots and they also have a very pointy shape and it made the skates feel very fast and low friction in my experience.
Do they damage the mousepad? I bought some not knowing that glass mouse skates often damage the pad, and my only 3 mousepads are Artisans's. I don't wanna ruin a pad that costs me over 3x the price of the skates.
@@mel0nFPS I have a very relaxed fingertip grip so even tho I main a type 99 Xsoft ,I haven't had any issues using the jade dots on my Beast X. I'll see if it's different with the meteorites tho.
Hey, have you already found any way to more accurately measure the battery life of the Lemokey G1? I'm considering buying this mouse, but I'm hesitant because of the battery. Another choice would be the Keychron M3 4k. Which of these mice do you recommend more?
Get the G2, I covered it a few weeks ago, better than the G1 in every possible way, and it's Lemokey best mouse they've ever released. ua-cam.com/video/3OCTazKmCeo/v-deo.html

i think these would bee good with the ikea mousepad because of its very firm base
True on firm pads they'll be good!

The InfinityMice ruin only comes in soft, but the meteorite dots will have issues on both soft & soft pads. Mid to firm pads will be fine.

same experience with them, really good for microadjusments and control, but wanted more speed xD
glass skates never been my thing but nice review dude love your perspective on skates
How would these compare to sapphire dots ?
Haven't used them myself so I can't really give a comparison sorry
Do you think xraypad will make obsidian air full size?
They do! Only for a few mice but some full size sets are available
Do they damage the mousepad? I bought some not knowing that glass mouse skates often damage the pad, and my only 3 mousepads are Artisans's. I don't wanna ruin a pad that costs me over 3x the price of the skates.
I can't see them damaging a pad's surface, but Artisan pads are often VERY soft so these skates wouldn't even work on the pad to begin with.

Then they will feel bad when sliding on an Aqua Control 2?
Since the AC+ is rougher surface you'll feel a lot of textural feedback so it'll feel rough, but it'll still glide pretty smoothly.
