Sarah, the only thing I'll say is something I've already said: Do what you need to, and keep up the awesome job you're doing! No joke, what you're doing isn't easy, but anyone who watches your content knows: It all becomes worth the wait when you know you did everything right, and you turn the key for the first time.
Quality over quantity.
@@juhajuntunen7866 : More like doing things right the first time, and not having to go back and do them over again.
Woohoo!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself. Take care of yourself Sarah and keep up with the little details, they are the things worth paying attention to!!
Stalin will get you in the after life.
Sarah, 20-25 minutes is perfect. Channels that typically have 40-60 minutes I FF through. Your editing and content is perfect. I do not skip through any of it 😊
Spot on correct - I skip past many a video (tl,ww - too long, won't watch) or fast forward through the longer videos as they are typically full of boring fluff. I agree Sarah has found the sweet spot
I totally agree with this.
Sarah, your video quality has always been top notch. YOU may not think so but it looks fantastic to us out here in UA-cam land.
Got to appreciate how Sarah does all this grubby work and never chips a nail.
I've wondered about the nail budget
No truer words 🤣
Looking impecable after engine rebuild. I can't even change wiper blades without making a mess 😔
there glue ons...
@@robertschultz4100 Yes and the statement still holds true.
Hi Sarah, I'd like to wish you a very happy new year, in which you'll be able to fulfill all your personal and professional wishes, and that your real estate project to build a larger workshop will come to fruition.
🏁
Thanks!
Thank you!!
Shout out to Sarah’s turn around too. This is not footage shot a month ago they have been sitting on. This was shot yesterday and today it is gracing your eyeballs. Keep up the great content. Maybe this will help keep a kidney in your body.
Thanks! Yeah, I typically only sit on car reviews (for a couple weeks), but those are to give me a backup plan incase I get sick or injured.
As a old fart that work on my own cars , then tanks in the army to building 55 to 68 foot sailboats . I love watching you work . Not like most youtubers you pay attention to details !
Sarah you are one of the most talented people on you tube. Very much enjoy your videos regardless of if it's a review or restoration. Keep up the great work and I look forward to spending another year with you.
In general, I'm pretty allergic to tv shows which cut between shots too quickly. I've always enjoyed your editing style, and how it matches your taste and personality. Also the music is always great!
I particularly like the 'squeaky-toy' curse word editing 😄
@@doublebackagain4311I particularly enjoy when the squeaky toy sound just misses the actual curse word. That's So Sarah! Perfect!
Quality is super important. Love the work ya put in Sarah!
16:00 Sarah, thanks for talking about this. I wish more high-sub YT creators would do this. A 20min video on my channel will often have 50-60 video clips, 50 voice over takes, and hundreds of edit points. Plus audio EQ, compression, mixing. And often also video colour grading, and my original music. I take time setting lighting, framing etc, I use a gimbal for moving shots. Not to mention the free information from someone who has decades of experience in the topic... Thumbs down and silly comments from people who have clearly not watched the whole video are very hard to stomach, especially in the beginning. Congrats on a great channel and keep it up!
Watching your videos is like watching a fun, delightful Mash-Up of a Supermodel and a Super Mechanic.
You're truly unmatched, I don't think I've seen any other creator not only fabricating to this level, but also filming and making it a funny experience
Most UA-camrs videos seem long because they are either boring or need major editing! Your videos seem like only 10-15 minutes because they are exciting and fast paced! I also can't get enough of an intelligent, pretty lady schooling many of us guys at working on cars!! :) Happy New Year!
Its a great day when Sarah drops a video.
Still watching, still care, love what you do! Your passion for quality in what you do for yourself, and for your viewers, is what makes you stand out in my opinion. Okay, that and you're overall quirky and loveable qualities.
Really appreciate your drive, Sarah. Working on a holiday for content. That’s dedication.
Happy New Year! Excited for what’s in score for 2024!
As a former training content and AV producer from the 1980s, I loved your comments about watching media from the past and comparing the pace of scene changes. It's accelerated quite a bit over the years! As a result, attention spans demand that content be visually exciting... challenging, even. The techniques of computer-controlled multi-image slide shows from the 1960s-1990s made their way into video editing and now we have 30 second commercials with 50 clips in them. Documentaries tend to have longer clips, but some of them are getting ridiculous. I appreciate your in-depth videos with longer scenes and clips! BTW, this is an amazing build. I miss my '84 Celica GT. It was loads of fun.
Appreciate your open, wide eyed, hit it builds. No arrogance. Humble honesty. Enjoy the channel 😊
Don't forget Sarah, you're a "fabricobler!!!😇⚒️
Happy New Year to you and your family, friends and penguins 😊
The Celica is coming around nicely Sarah! All the best in 24 to you and your loved ones!
You are simply talented and have right mentality. I did a lot of resto mod and restoration on old Subarus and NA MX5, Hondas etc. Restoration or resto mod is a long long journey with a lot of money is needed. You need to have an ability to think, plan, do brain 3D imaging, have a parts hunting ability and no compromise in parts quality. That’s why many people give up.
This project is really showing your mechanical and editing chops!
Whatever you do! Don’t change! You’re the best car-tuber! We wanna see alllllll the work…correct and caring like you do! It’s so nice to hear you repeat the mantra of F the algorithm….this is right. Happy New Year!
Sarah, your videos are awesome. Don't worry about length or upload times, we'll watch every one regardless. You're one of a kind.
always amazing to see people who can visualize something in their head. that takes talent and imagination and is severely under rated sometimes.
Happy New year Sarah, all the best for 2024, love your humour, and your videos, much respect for how hard you work on your own, stay gorgeous 😎👌😍
Making short videos with capture and interesting content is not eazy.
Hats off to you Sarah 🎩
Great job!! The car is looking great.
Hello, Person of Arizona who makes videos that have to do with vehicles!
It's always interesting and illuminating to see how you approach your fabrication. As someone who would probably try to design everything via computer, your practical approach is very different from how I would approach it!
Oldschool...
I can appreciate all the hard work you put into making these videos for us out here in armchair land. The details are what makes it count in everything you do. The end results are off the chart.
AwRIGHT, engine time for the Celica! Happy New Year indeed! I can't wait to see this car all done, Sarah OCD style. Your restore of the rear seat jute panel was really somethin' else to see, but it's cool the original rubber mat was saved!
Right back at you on the new year looking forward to hearing it rumble to life 😊👍.
Sarah, Happy New Year, May all your wildest dreams manifest in 2024. You got this! 😘
I only came to say thank you so much Sarah for the wonderful and great efforts you have done for us to enjoy those 17 minutes . We really appreciate you for that . All support ✊🏻
I'm continually impressed with the work you do (both on vehicles, as well as video production). Filming on Jan 1st, editing, and uploading on Jan 2nd is impressive.
I fully support changes to frequency and format, especially if it means you're taking care of your physical and mental health. As they say, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything.
Dang, you're going all in with this. Nice to see you using a JDM engine. Can't wait to see your finished vision.
The editing is superb, your videos seem so effortless and natural, they’re always a fun watch. I agree with others that think you should take the time you need for quality work.
Finally the Engine! Been waiting for this, thus thing is goanna riiiip
Thanks for all the hard work this past year. I look forward to seeing the progress on all the projects every week. Thank you!!!
Totally agree with what others have said, your content, production and presenter skills are the bench mark ! I ❤ your work , don’t be to hard on yourself and I am grateful for any morsel you provide. You also have a life other than this that also needs to be nurtured. Thank you for being you . Happy New year from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
Hey Sarah, happy new year to you. I hope this year is better than the last and I can’t wait to see what happens next 🐧🐧🐧👍
Much awaited, much appreciated looking forward to excellent work as always from you.
Happy New year from Vienna.
Sarah , Please don’t hurt your self !!! ☹️ A bit dangerous being under the car when you’re all alone!!
Your content and videos and you are amazing!!! Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year Sarah- Thank you for always including things that don't go exactly right, really makes all your content more real.
Sarah you’re a beast. ❤️❤️
Happy New Year Sarah!
I was also working NY Day, but not nearly as hard as you! Best wishes in the coming year. You upload on whatever schedule works best for you. We are all grateful you share your journey with us!
I appreciate all the hard work you put into making a) car projects that are seriously at a top level, and b) videos about those projects that are super-detailed and fun to watch. Happy New Year, Sarah!!
Happy New Year Sarah, love from New Zealand x
The only 'Tuber who's ads I allow to play through!
I really enjoy your videos, greetings from Barcelona!
Thanks SO MUCH for all the DETAILS! Never compromise
Happy New Year, Sarah! Same note, great as always to see you making progress on the Celica project.
I just discovered this channel and now I have to go back to the start of this project. The 1st gen Celicas are my favorite Japanese vehicle ever produced but my current project is a '77 Datsun 620 "Kingcab" (while eye rolling and doing air quotes) with a yet-to-be-determined engine swap. Right now I'm prepping for a full body-off-frame restoration with my focus on completely rebuilding the front suspension and media blasting, powder coating, replacing everything. You're channel is very inspirational!
Happy NewYear!
Thank you so much for the awesome videos. Your attention to detail and amazing knowledge and talent mixed with the mentally challenged humour make everyone of your videos a joy to watch, I can't thank you enough for sharing your automotive journey with us.
Can't wait for the next video.
2UZ-FE is one of the greatest Toyota engines ever! That Celica is going to be sweeet!
Happy new year Sarah. Hope you have an awesome 2024. Looking forward to your content and your sense of humor. You are loved. Cheers, Dave. 👍🏼🇦🇺🇺🇸❤️
11:08 fender cover required. You're wearing a belt buckle !!! . Funny Sarah, love it !!! That's one COOL looking car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quality over quantity... I'm pretty sure you can do that. Even though I do think that your videos come with high standards, but I can imagine that you, of all people, know where it could be better. Loved this episode once again, and as said before by many: keep 'm coming!
15:14 your head fits perfectly in the transmission bay lol! And yes please make some longer videos Sarah!
Sarah is the hardest working person in show business. Love every second of effort put into everything it takes for the success achieved.
Sarah, you do not need to change a thing, unless you feel the need. I enjoy your content, and have followed your channel for a few years now. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Happy New Year~! Cheers, and wishing you all the best in 2024~!
Happy New year Sarah. Yes, to do high quality work, it takes time and patience, something that's absolutely evident in your videos. Quality will always win over quantity. That's why your my favorite UA-camr.
"Quality is your legacy." Truth.
Hope you and your fabricobler friends had a great New Year!
The awkward silence was 🔥 😂
@16:17 I was just pointing out cuts to people while using Family Ties as an example. It’s amazing once it’s pointed out how people can’t stop noticing it.
I don’t know much about cars, but I find it fascinating what you’re doing with your projects so here I am, all the way at the end of another of yours.
Happy New Year Sarah!
Is there a market for gallbladders?
I'm asking for a friend.
That video came in handy for my toenail hair!! Thanks Sarah!!!
Did your robot snail meow like Gary from Spong Bob?
Possibly
@@SarahnTuned Oki doki. :)
I agree with quality over quantity. Go for it!
super fine for a mechanic 👩🔧
Our attention spans are getting shorter. Older TV shows, or even movies will have longer shots. As a professional editor with 20+ years experience, it's soul crushing now. Your videos are great, keep it up)))
Sarah, I love your comment at the end when you talk about editing. I used to teach media and film and always taught the 10 second rule. :)
136 clips + 12 plus hours = better content. you are awesome
Two classic beauties in one video, what more can we ask for.
This thing is coming along amazingly! I love the fact how you are a stickler for the details. And you do you! The way you do your vids works for you first. I'll keep watching!
Movie "Atomic Blond" seven + minute fight scene. Uncut. Phenomenal. Had not been done in a long time.
We come for Sarah. You are Sarah. Take all the time you need to be Sarah, and we shall continue to come. Happy New Year!
The undercarriage / steering rack is beautiful. Love it!
You are the hardest working mechanic on UA-cam and the quality of your work is impeccable. You do you and we will all enjoy the product. Thanks for your inspiration!
Hey Sarah I've had my UZ in and out of my Celica about 20 times. I have the motor attached to the cross member and stood 3 pallets, the bottom pallet has castors on it so I can move the motor around, like a dolly kinda thing. Putting the engine in the car is a cinch, as you just lower the car onto it and then bolt up the cross member to the chassis rails. Also you can leave the steering rack in situ 👍
Sarah, I bet 99$ of your viewers ALWAYS watch your entire videos! You do what feels right for you! and yes, we APPRECIATE the work you do, the attention to detail, and your quirky remarks as well. keep up the GREAT work.
Yay the engine is so fresh❤
Don't half ass it. I don't care how long it is between your videos. I watch them because of you. Your attention to detail. Your OCD. Your corny innuendos and jokes. You are amazing. Happy New Year.
... and that is one of many reasons why your's is the best channel on the You Tube: your camera work and editing has the same quality as high end tv-shows. I salute your attention to detail and quality over quantity ethos - please, do what-ever you need to make your channel work. Thank you so much for what you do, Stay Awesome - and Happy New Year. (BTW - I pitty those fools with too short attention span who can't enjoy your greatness the way we die-hard fans do....)
So hoping for a sewing video from Sarah. To turn an old phrase, "Now, for something completely different..."
always enjoy what your doing and how you do it. Never quit attention to detail is very inspiring!! Keep up the great work🤟
Sarah, you rock! You're doing it by yourself, and still winning at the game! I appreciate it. Just be safe, ok?
To remove motor and gearbox we used to leave the vehicle on the ground and jack the rear up, so it made a very easy angle for the gearbox to clear the gearbox tunnel and firewall. Makes it easy to put in without scratching the bay as well. Lot simpler for a single person too.
I had a 1974 Celica with a twin cam 22RG, I think, it had twin macuni carburetors, it was a rocket ship. I loved it.
Its the Quality of your work and the Quality of your videos that sets you apart! What ever you need, us fans will be here! (Still salty I didnt win Ragnar...... 😞)
You are such a bad ass, Sarah! For real... pulling an engine is a pain... you just pulled that big engine out, like it was nothing! way to go!
Cant wait to see what Sarah in 2024 brings this way. If it is half the experience Sarah created in 2023 then it is going to be all I need to feel included in the journey in the little shed in the South West.
We had a TV like that. Cool music, FX and fonts
Thank you for a great video. It is comforting to know that I am not the only person that has conversations with myself while working solo on my Jeeps. Additionally, I found that I am not alone when removing or reinstalling auto parts "frustration happens". Take care, be safe, and Carry On Madam
Wihing you a healthy and happy new year. Thank you for your tireless efforts as well as informative and entertaining videos. I love your sense of humor.
