Quite some time ago Husky just added few minutes black screen. So it was hard to judge or real match length

Classic Clem play is beautiful.
Like no other, he goes in with bio and 3 widow mines. He staggers burrowing the 3 in a line and advances his bio to just in front of it. Wjen zerg rushes him, he splits and retreats, and lets the mines hit the oncoming wave. The fact he rarely hits himself with this tactic always astounds me.
On a technical level, this shit right here is why starcraft is regarded as one of the hardest games. Literally playing a mini battle simulator in such a little part of the whole match in like 5 seconds. Jesus christ

i had a lot of fun fevering for the players.
After that huge mistake of losing all ghosts with careless routing, Clem kinda gave up for a bit but then changed mind and played on. Yet it was too much to recover from. Would've been a great game had the ending been more exciting.

Yeah i think that clump of ghosts just walking to their deaths basically gave away the game. After that it was just Clem processing his loss
Random idea: how about setting a separate supply for static defense, and and upgrade or 2 to add more supply. Each race would receive it.maybe like 10, 25, 50.
It is nice to see Lowko finally acknowledging why static defense is so good. I'm often annoyed by stubbornness of pro players. Terran might be trying to take down a hatchery for 5 whole minutes, but zerg is never going to fortify area with few spines. Or how Protoss is going for mass Oracle of Phenix, but god forbid if they are going to build more than one spore. It is better to lose dozen of workers instead. Or how terran and protoss would better re-establish their bases after constant counterattacks from the zerg rather than just investing into static defenses.

Should they implement an evolution for the hatchery to make it able to defend itself, kind of like a Zerg planetary fortress. That would be pretty cool.
Command centers can fly, imagine a Hatchery uprooting like a spine crawler and moving around on a thousand tiny legs

Ha I’m so happy for Reynor, don’t get me wrong he dominated the late game but when I saw all those ghosts go down with so much time left I was sure that Clem was gonna be able to pull off the Hail Mary.
I don’t even play star craft, but I have to agree with LS from league, RTS (I think this means real-time strategy) players are just build differently in terms of problemsolving. He also talks about how vision is overrated in league. In the first game you see the Zerg player seeing one worker walk in a certain angle of the map, with his overlord and instantly starts adapting, from that small amount of information.
Meanwhile league pros don’t even build mathematically correct, and have no idea how to draft at all.

I honestly hate lurkers. So annoying. Liberators and battcruisers and even ravens are decent for cleaning them up, but zerg will just have a bunch of Corruptors if they see starports. You can get them with the siege and ghost but then they will usually have a bunch of lings. You can only stim into them so much with Marines and they shred buildings and units and start fires for Terran. A complete pain in the ass.
Ghosts do a pretty good job at sniping them (if you don't walk all of your ghosts in range).

Terran commits to mass Reaper cheese and fails miserably, yet a few minutes of passive gameplay later it's the Zerg who is struggling to keep up.

Oh Clem also ran 10 ghosts into Lurkers for no reason, has 100 less APM, lost HALF HIS STRUCTURES, and still has a fighting chance till the end...
I feel like if Reynor did some bane mines in the early game, because Clem wasnt scanning all that much, then it would have put damn near most the game in his favor, and even slow down the mule mining
Just so you know Lowko, Harstem is stealing your casting style. During a recent IMBA episode, Harstem stopped looking at the game and started trying to count how many legs Ravegers had. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery but he should give you credit just like when he uses someone else's build.

Timings hamper you. Meta is just using the same builds someone else figured out until someone else figures out a better way to counter the current build. Go outside and look at everything.
