I wouldn't mind seeing more first person videos. Obviously not as a regular thing as I'm seeing people commenting that it's not the easiest watching experience, but I consume these videos largely as a podcast as I work so being able to look over and see what that player sees is a welcome change. Maybe once a week?
This was certainly a fun watch, but I would agree that it shouldn't be more than a once a week thing. Our minds might get blown open a little too far otherwise
Maybe keep it irregular, so it doesn't get boring, and cast some special games like this every once in a while? First person cast of Bronze League Heroes, with split-screen?
It is very educational. But yea, I'm sitting here at 100% focus feeling sicker than riding a roller coaster just concentrating on the (helpful)commentary and what the hell Serral is seeing and wondering how the hell this man can play like this. lol

Never played starcraft before, but this casting format made me feel like i just did. And also made me feel like trying out starcraft, which wasnt the case with a "normal" match cast.
I absolutely love watching first person casts. A typical viewer (myself included) cannot keep up with everything that is happening, but being able to see the selected targets and camera gives you such a deeper insight into what they are doing Edit: watching them is definitely more demanding, its just very nice to mix it up every now and then, its especially interesting watching someone play 'your race' Edit 2: some ways to improve the viewer experience, pausing and discussing helps give you time to catch up, and probably stick to short/mid length games
The barrier of entry is definitely higher with this format, especially as someone that doesn't play myself, but this was awesome to see, and I would absolutely watch more first person games
As someone who played their first SCII match about a week ago (Yes, we exist, and it is mostly your fault. Thanks for quality content Lowko!), I really liked this cast. Loved the pauses for explanations as well. You must definitely do other two races now.
I liked this :D Especially when it's Serral's PoV. He's so good at the game but it really makes you feel better about your own play when he missed injects, misses creep spread, etc. Proves he's human.
Isn't Serral that amateur golfer that plays StarCraft in his free time? Why is he fighting Gumiho? Edit: Wow! For an amateur golfer that plays StarCraft in his free time, Serral is pretty good!
i can tell you how it happened: Gumiho is a decent golfer too and they battled each other on the golf fields. After many remis, Gumiho came up with this legendary sentence: "It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of golfing... but by our skills with a mouse and a keyboard in SC2." that's what lead to this video.
It's insane how they can (most of the time) keep track of everything that's going on in the game, including predicting the opponent. Thanks for the different vid format Lowko!

I was hoping to see a POV casted by you for so much time hahahha and you casted Serral 🔥🔥 but you have to see the moment at 19:51. The lings trying to do splash damage on the ghost. Super elite move. Greetings from Chile. Always good content.
I’d say maybe do this on a very low frequency. Maybe 3 per month, one for each race. Taking a step back to have the viewer question the position the player is in from their perspective, or explain what you see the player is doing mechanically, perhaps slowing or pausing like that in instances where players do something of particular note to better marvel at how quickly they might have accomplished a particular sequence of actions.
This is quite interesting, your explanations are also a good way to understand the situation the player you're casting is, also makes it easier to see the skill gap between us plebs. If it was up to me I'd say one of these once a week would be the sweetspot
For people who have difficulties to follow: LOOK at the MINIMAP. >> Pros use camera positions (self defined positions on the map). >> every base has 1 camera position >> every Hotkey group of units has a camera position that is on the group >> you can see the numbered hotkey groups to see where he also jumps with the cam. Thats the whole trick.
I love the first person view from the pros. I’ve seen winter do it for like 30 seconds on Maru. And I’m pretty sure he’s a machine to even see anything on the screens when he switches screens 25 times a second. These pros are super human it’s amazing.
This was really interesting as I've always wanted to know what the gameplay from a Pro Player looked like, one of these once in a while I think would be really cool for us and you as well Lowko, but you may have to do a few to get into the groove like you do with the normal casts. I really enjoy it
Yes please do more pov games. I am zerg main and seeing the hotkeys and how the player especially serral plays helps a lot. That's really cool that you got that. I would study those very closely if i got my hands on them.
This the best video yet. You get to actually see what the player is doing. I would really like to have analysis of big battles in games / decision points. Look at Player A's perspective and what they are doing. And then do the same from Player's B perspective. So you can really see what the top level players are doing.
1st person cam casting is great. get really appreciate the greatness of Serral. Well done casting too. May do another one from the opponent's point of view for contrast? or maybe not. Good job!

I searched for exactly this type of video. A FPV of Serral. Thanks!
This is quite interesting, your explanations are also a good way to understand the situation the player you're casting is, also makes it easier to see the skill gap between us plebs. If it was up to me I'd say one of these once a week would be the sweetspot
I could feel my heart rate going up just watching the game. Can't imagine what it would be like for the pros
For people who have difficulties to follow: LOOK at the MINIMAP.
>> Pros use camera positions (self defined positions on the map).
>> every base has 1 camera position
>> every Hotkey group of units has a camera position that is on the group
>> you can see the numbered hotkey groups to see where he also jumps with the cam.
Thats the whole trick.
I liked this as a different format than your normal casts. It was interesting to see the game from Serral's perspective.
I just wish you uploaded every day Lowko. Watching your casts eases my troubled mind, and helps me stay sane. Kind of a ritual for me every night.
I think that the usual format is preferred, but the occasional player view is greatly fascinating! So do keep them coming.
Yes! More of these First Person View game reviews. Loved it.
I always wondered what it looked like in the eyes of a pro. Amazing video
love this format. Please keep posting more!
Still a proponent of a third starcraft development and would play thank you kindly.
Should do more POV. Good to see their control groups
It could be a really good series, more first person videos please. Even doing this in a colaboration with the players would be awesome!
I really enjoy it
Loved it. Thanks for the variety
Yes please do more pov games. I am zerg main and seeing the hotkeys and how the player especially serral plays helps a lot. That's really cool that you got that. I would study those very closely if i got my hands on them.
This was genuinely awesome to watch. Yes do again
Fire I love serrel playing competitions like this only a few have the dedication for this
Thanks for the first person video, awesome to see through the eyes of the greats!
I would love to see more of these. Like I would drop what I am doing to watch this as soon as it were posted
Yeees!!! This is very helpful and gives a lot of insight. I'd love to see one of these once a month or so
Excellent video! Would love more of these.
I'm always up for different ways of experiencing StarCraft short of playing it. This was very fun
Personally I'd love to see Serral's games from his POV --- AND --- from the observers' as well.
This the best video yet. You get to actually see what the player is doing. I would really like to have analysis of big battles in games / decision points. Look at Player A's perspective and what they are doing. And then do the same from Player's B perspective. So you can really see what the top level players are doing.
This was cool! More of these would be great
1st person cam casting is great. get really appreciate the greatness of Serral.
Well done casting too. May do another one from the opponent's point of view for contrast? or maybe not.
Good job!
Please do these once in a while. It's educational and entertaining
7:10 "to make that educated guess". Brolylegs used this phrase and I like it quite a lot.
