@@SpaceCattttt The category glitchless allows for some glitches, like for example kicking mid air to cancel your hurt animation so you can run without needing to roll or wait half a second after landing. @@ZeeZeeGaming I'd say they're a pretty dangerous grey area in general. A glitch could be considered anything that isn't meant to happen or wasn't planned by the developers. Like, unless it was acknowledged as a strategy in-game/by text, then I doubt developers planned on that ability.

that, as many others in the game, is a scripted AI movement. squads in this game can take seconds before they go from "enter the stage" state to the "detect faith" state. it all depends on how fast you manage to reach their spawn location. here's an example from my semi-expert casual run ua-cam.com/video/UVy9iretVEU/v-deo.html
@@NutmegBGB TAS means tool-assisted speedrun. Basically you program inputs and have some software execute them for you in order to create a theoretically perfect run. This is considered cheating if you use it in a run, then submit that to a leaderboard, but it is a legitimate way to see how fast a game could theoretically be played, develop new strats, etc, and is commonly used. Also, sometimes TAS runs are significantly faster, because there are some tricks which a human either cant execute, or, while theoretically possible for a human to execute, are so precise to execute that its not normally done.
Well to me I was a perfect glitchless run, because I can do 97% of it just by watching this and knowing the function of each key in the game, without knowing any additional knowledge that's only known by the speed runners. Admire it.
