Nice to watch your visit to the Philly guitarshow...as you mentioned kind a overwhelming...wouldn't know if an acoustic guitar will sound in that surrounding. At least you've tried. Thx again..greetings from the Netherlands
Next year, as it is in October every year, you should try to make it to Arlington, TX for their show. It's amazing and I used to go every year and have gotten many way cool guitars there. Worth the trip. Never been to the Philly show but it looked very good too.
They had the Asheville show this year. I went to it, it was pretty cool, kind low key didn't seem like as many people there but was still good. The one for next year in Asheville is already scheduled, I will be there for sure.
An event like this with those sort of acoustics, and the noise from other people, is not a great place to try out an acoustic guitar. It was pretty funny that the $40,000 D-28 was out on a table but some of the less expensive electric guitars were under glass at other booths. Great video on another guitar show I didn't hear about.
lol I was at that show... I remember 40% of the stuff was Les Pauls that looked exactly the same to me. Another 35% was stats and tele's that looked the same, but not as much the same. The coolest thing for me was the old amps. I almost bought this Princeton brown face, The label just said "dirty rat", I think about that amp all the time.
In 1980 I was 15 I was offered a Chet Atkins Gretchen for 400 on time payments it was in excellent condition and very old I was like no I don't want that old junk country guitar I want a Japan Lee Paul copy lol if I could go back in time
Thanks Jeremy for showing some good guitars. I am a fun of vintage guitars also I was amaze of some stuff that you have shown. Love it.
Thanks, Joel! It's been a super fun ride and I'm glad you're enjoying it too! What music and guitars are you into?

Very nice indeed, Well done
We have a guitar show at the Oakdale in Wallingford, they have a separate room for boutique acoustic guitars and it is not so noisy 😉
Just finished watching your live stream and now looking at a J200 that looks exactly like mine.
I happen to have an ALL Gold 1998 R6 that I love. Great guitar.
Those Buck Owens teles go for a pretty penny from what I’ve seen. So cool
That deluxe was not made to look old……its how the paint on those wear
I realise they may not really be your thing but did you try out any Reverend guitars? They are just fantastic.
I can tell you were super excited - your camera was out of focus like half the video haha
Love seeing a Chet Atkins SST. Don't see them often.
Have you ever seen either model from the Americana Series that was the short lived replacement for the SST?
@@charlesbolton8471 I have not.
Pixie s lead singer at 4:46, right!?
You should have picked up that 1940 D-28. :)
Every time I see a Gibson Les Paul or Firebird in Pelham Blue WITHOUT black on it my pants start fitting funny lol
Setting up a teepee?

Jeremy when did this guitar festival happen?? I’ve never heard of it.
Last weekend, November 6th. They're not great at promoting them.
I fucking live in Philly, am pretty connected with musicians and the scene, and didn’t hear about this.

looking for this d-28 1940
hi jeremy?hope to contact you to buy Vintage guitar
I totally understand it’s an expo but I sure would like to hear these guitars in a sound protected area.
Oh yeah. It's pretty hopeless to hear a guitar. If I was shopping or considering buying, I'd need to leave the hall and get some privacy.
Was the out of focus think art? Or......
The Gretsch Chet Atkins guitar was a Country Gentleman not a Country Western
Good eye, thanks.
Who was doing the camera work? Ugh!
Not easy to tell from a video but it does seem like there’s gonna be a bunch of vintage acoustics that are probably only still good in looks.

Poor photography here, and thank you for showing us junk today where is Fred g. Sanford????
He passed away years ago
Very cool. Hate the annoying background music. Hard to concentrate. Maybe im just old
Prices for the guitars are ridiculous it's not the guitar it's the player if Jimmy Page play a guitar from Walmart it'll sound fabulous
Vintage guitars are a minefield that I would stay clear off unless you have decent knowledge. Old/vintage doesn’t at all mean there all good.
I thought that the corporate lawyer guitar player was just a made up thing- you know…”who buys a 7-15,000$ Gibson”
He also was beating these guitars like a drummer
WTF. That beard is ridiculous!
I hope they all go broke
$15G for a refin Telecaster in CBS era?
Did somebody hurt you?
