For anyone wondering, the Telecaster turned out to be a 94
Thanks, I was wondering.
Was great meeting you and chatting for a bit!
Ever since I first picked up a guitar it was always that Gibson acoustic sound that loved and that hasn’t changed over the years.
Living in the U.K. we have a specialist guitar auction called Gardiner Hougate. There are good deals to be had but imagine my surprise at seeing a white 1961 Strat that had one owner but not attached to anyone famous and seeing that it went under the hammer for £200.000 🤯 can you imagine what Hank Marvins fiesta red Strat that his dad bought him in the 50s must be worth lol
The Gibson Banner 1942 Southern Jumbo had Rosewood back and sides, Adirondack top. Thanks, Jeremy!
Ohhhhh 😮
When the sellingpoint of your town, is that it's close to the interstate

Nice to see another Guitarsenal shirt in the wild!
Thanks! I bought it and since getting it haven’t had my entire guitarsenal in one place, so the shirt has been slowly fading until the collection is all in one place before submitting it to TAC.😅
Really enjoy the content, I've never been to a show & it's Great to see how to move and talk..I'm an easy mark
that's an awesome tip at the end for the attenuator .. I def need something like that. Looks like a fun guitar show! I still have the hang tags from my '72 Martin d-28 handed down from my Dad.. it's crazy to see how much, err little they seemed to cost back then.
How much was it back in '72?
@@tinman8518 it was $640 Canadian.. tho I don't think he paid that since he worked there.
@@trev_mcnaughton Wow. That is crazy! That's a beautiful gift from your Dad and I hope you can pass it down some day.
The attenuator works great! If only the Gibson amp wasn’t straight wired to the speaker I’d use it (this amp doesn’t distort) to make it a bit darker and get a bit more headroom out of the tubes.
Music Villa (Bozeman MT) is one place that orders/carries new TERZ Martin guitars.
Great show Jeremy.
I just bought my dream acoustic an Alvarez Yairi DYMR70SB been drooling for one for awhile finally on the way.
I've done a video on one. They're wonderful!!
@@JeremySheppard Yeah I saw that one I'm a sub so I appreciate your show I also just got the Epiphone Sinchi Ubakata 22' ltd edition release, keep up the great work
Nice Guitarsenal shirt! Looks as worn as mine!
Thanks- I’ve been meaning to do a guitarsenal photo for TAC but I need all my guitars in the same place. Waiting on two back from Nathaniel Wright and then I can take the shot.
The Gibson Acoustic sounded high class even though there was a lot of background noise.
Thanks!
What was that song/music that was playing over the top as you two guys were walking into guitar show?
Hey there, I have a guitar/retail/econ question I've never seen addressed and I was hoping you might be able to share a thought or so. I live in a small NYC apartment with a LOT of guitars. I do fine money-wise (not trying to sound like a dick) so anything new I might want I could probably just buy.. But again, there are a lot of guitars here. Ideally, I'd like to turn several, or several more, into one. I need space and I also feel kinda bad about having stuff and not playing it. I'm sure that the best money solution would be to privately sell things but I know myself, and I know I will never do that. The thought of it makes me want to put another lock on my front door). So my question is, how would such a proposed deal look from a shop's perspective? (Think American Fenders, a new 335; stuff like that. For what, I don't know). I know this is all pretty vague, but I would appreciate any thoughts you could spare me. In other words several things for one.
I do advice calls on my site and we could talk about it there. I can definitely help.
U never linked the channel

Where are you from???
Pause at 9:47 In what world is that "saddle's down to nothing". It's high as crap man. Can clearly see the saddle sitting wayyyyy above the bridge. Unless you had a ruler to measure at the 12th fret, measure the saddle and also the measurement from the soundboard to the low E string, I wouldn't be giving advice out of your butt.
Also those back cracks and top cracks can be cleated fairly reasonably. Sunken top isn't great but getting it into a properly humidified room for a while will help. Throw some lighter strings on it and it might not move for a while. Looks like it has a massive belly on it. Bet that guitar sounds amazing. Hopefully he took it to someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
Those are bridge pins. The saddle was about 1/8" maybe 1/16". Definitely wasn't embellishing anything. The guitar also had a fully collapsed neck joint and both of the shoulders were crunching in.
Thanks for your comment
Worst negotiating ever.
do you have a tweed fender blues jr. ???
