These clubs helped get me to a 1hcp back in 1994. Had a hole in one that year with the 7 iron, 174 yards. Haven't played much since 1999, but I'm back on the course, and expect to be back to that form very soon. Beautiful job!
Had a magic 9 iron hole in one in 1993. Best clubs along with Ping Eye 2 wedges. Great period for game improvement clubs. Still have them and play them.
Hey Brad, been watching all your videos and you have inspired me but I am in need of a professional opinion. I recently got a set of Titleist AP3 irons. I have used them a fair but but at the end of the season I want to buff and polish them like brand new. How you would go about that? Would you do the same steps and process as the first video in your "How to polish golf clubs" playlist with the Wilson D7 irons? Not sure if id take away the chrom finish on them. Would really appreciate some insight especially coming from you. Keep up the great videos they are so satisfying to watch!
Great work Brad, you are indeed an artist. I had a set of 845's back 30 years ago, they were notorious for hot or dead spots on certain areas of the face. A 7 iron might go 145 yards or 175 yards.
I've been working on some Niklaus Macgregor's and I wish I could get it like you do! I guess I need more practice. Do you use sand paper to get all the scratches out? I didn't do that and maybe I should....
Hey Brad! I just got a used set of Nike Victory Red TW blades but the red details have faded, what paint do you recommend I use to bring the red and black details back?
Hands down the best club restoration channel I have found. From production to instruction your channel is great! I have wanted to try this for a long time, I just don’t know if I have the patience. On top of it all … it appears we may share a similar geographical location. #KCBBQISBETTERTHANALLOTHERS
Thanks for another great save Brad...
I'm sure that painting the cavity was a real chore. Great work!

With these clubs I got to 9! I played them until the grooves were smashed in. Lol. I still miss them

What a nice restoration. Something someone could take on that’s new to it all

Pure bliss!
Very nice work. Like all ways.

Great Video Brad!
Looks so fun
i have this exact same club, 8 iron steel shaft
Have these same clubs from my pops just played my best round ever today! Mine need some TLC forsure lol
@notsohotcontent1224 that's awesome! Congratulations on the round. I still think these are sexy irons.
I absolutely love your videos. I was curious, what grit sandpaper are you using when you do the hand sanding?
@erichirons4081 I start with about 220 and work through 400, 600, 800. Then polish. It saves time in the end.
Love it!
Hey, Ben. Great video! Could you possibly make a video regarding any learning resources that would be good for beginners? Thanks!
Yes, check out my How To playlist. It has all of the tutorials for each step. Thanks!
@BradMeehan thanks for the reply. I've watched them all 😅. More wondering if you know of any good external resources, i.e., books, sites, etc.
Outstanding vids! Would this be an acceptable finish on Ping i3s? Like a soda blasting appearance?
Thanks. Yes, it's the exact same process as the Pings.

Hi Brad. If I sent you a set of irons would you get them polished up for me?
Hey Brad! I just got a used set of Nike Victory Red TW blades but the red details have faded, what paint do you recommend I use to bring the red and black details back?
@nicolasgioino4544 any enamel paint will work. Even nail polish is good.
What type of abrasive media do you use? Thanks!😊
It's the glass beads.
Stainless steel club??
Can u turn a sandblasted club back into a glossy finished?
@tonyliu1361 Absolutely. You have to go through the polishing steps, and it will shine again!
First set of clubs I ever owned. Dad won them in a raffle and gave them to me. 1991
Yes and cast.
What sand blasting media do you use, and the grit.
@manuelgarza969 in my handheld blaster I use the aluminum oxide 80 grit. But i have glass beads in the cabinet.
@@BradMeehan is it the same grit.
@manuelgarza969 the glass beads say 40/70 grit. Not sure why there are 2 numbers.
@@BradMeehan okay thank you. Keep up the good work.
@manuelgarza969 thanks man.

Mr. Meehan! I need your help! Please!
Someone upgraded his sand blasting equipment, that looks like it produces way higher quality and even finishes
Another banger restoration video. Thanks for sharing. Now let's see you pepper a tucked flagstick on #14 with that beauty!
I remember seeing these in the golf magazines back in the 90s and thinking how sweet they looked but couldn't afford it on my Air Force budget.
