2025 Kia EV6 First Look: Better Batteries, Better GT

The Kia EV6 ushered in a new era of all-electric vehicles for Kia. The first to use the EV designation, the wagon-like SUV received a positive reception from customers and the media like us.
For the 2025 model year, the EV6 receives the model’s first significant refresh since being introduced. Changes include new batteries, an updated front and rear design, upgrades to the interior, as well as changes to the trim structure.

Why has the charging port been switched from right to left -- and yet in my dealership here in Nordics it's still in the right hand side as before? 😮

The host of this video kind of sidestepped the main reason the charging port was moved to the drivers side corner. Tesla super charger access without blocking 2 stalls. The NACS port is also not mentioned. Not sure why but it is not a real professional presentation.
Listen up all you other EV manufacturers…..

Let's throw a cover over a vehicle that's been selling in other markets for weeks. LOL.
I actually like this design more than the first version. More Battery capacity is good too.
Moving the charging port to the driver's side means using the street side chargers a real pain in the butt. A shame Tesla chose this configuration in the first place.
