Enjoyed the vid thank you. How would you compare the ride comfort going over bumps in the road to something like the VW ID4 if you have driven that? Same, better, worse?
@@patrick7228 I think the ID4 / Enyaq are slightly less firm but the EV6 has the edge in handling, and less body roll than the Id4. I found this to be more comfortable than the older EV6, and Nissan Ariya for example.
I have the pre-facelift, MY2024 EV6. While i do like some of the new things like the new infotainment system (while te current cockpit screen looks better with the graphics then the facelift). I cant say the front light on the new one look better. The pre-facelift model has a more iconic front look and the new look is pretty generic, And doesn't really stand out anymore. I curious about the completely new EV6 in the future.
Aerodynamic excellence is key to the bZ4X’s exterior, with features like a fully covered underbody and a streamlined rear. These elements improve efficiency and ensure a smooth, quiet drive.
Why would you need a sunroof it is the first thing why i wouldn‘t take the EV6, altough he was one of our favourites before the facelift. Same for the more aggressive lights, ugly. A sweeping indicator makes no sense. We have a Kia, you do not need a fingerprint to easy change profiles. It is exactly one button, you can use with your gloves ect… Do not need to be exact on the fingerprint. Ambient lighting I do not like in any car. In the dark I want my car as dark as possible to watch outside. We choose a new car in 6months. But were already looking although can not order yet.
@ItsDanLatham thanks Dan. I was car shopping in Kia this week but forgot to ask. They haven't received the facelift EV6 here (Ireland) yet but you can order for Feb/Mar delivery. Have the Ionic 5 for the last 3 years, and while a rear wiper would have been nice, it was fine without it.
@@bikecrash611 I actually found the lack of rear wiper more of an issue on the IONIQ 5 than here so you'll be fine. Ironically, they have added a rear wiper to the facelift IONIQ 5 for the 25 model year!
@@ItsDanLatham good to hear Dan. I got used to no wiper, tried rain x too, but it just beads up the water and with the spoiler deflecting the air the water beads don't move 😅 Popped into another Kia dealer today, they confirmed the EV6 facelift have landed and due for delivery in about 3 weeks. Also tested the Cupra Tavascan today, nice enough but I think I still prefer the look and drive of the Hyundai/Kia EVs.
Nice review. Thanks a lot!
@@siegson thanks for watching!
Electrically adjustable steering column is new too.
Nice review 👏 Have they added a rear wiper under the spoiler?
Im afraid not… so many that not have it :( hate it. I check my back mirror every 3 seconds always

Did they automate the door handles to open for you when you are close.

@@RaoulANT will be interesting to see what they do to tie in the next model with the newer EV models like the EV3 and EV9!
Correct
Does it have the i-pedal 3.0 of the EV3?
It doesn't.
What does that bring?
@@lmaoroflcopter you can have the one pedal (=full stop) and the force of regenerative breaking configurable independantly
@Jaytonic3 ohh! That's nice.
It does have self driving, I mean like Tesla( with the contoel the car can find you)
They've ruined a good looking cat and gave it a weird front . I'd stick to the old one.
@@victorgathii103 I personally prefer this new one! I’m sure many people probably think the same as you though
Whats about the damned ICCU ?
Replaced under warranty.
@trev0074 Not enough
@@34Realistit has a new part number in the new version of the car, so they probably have changed it.

@ Tavascan looks great, I’m a big Cupra fan, but I think for day to day ease of use and reliability it would have to be the Kia!
