These Kids Got Trapped in Tight Spaces

- These kids got trapped in tight spaces. In 2019, 5-year-old Nicholas Wanes climbed into a cooler, locked it and got trapped inside. In 2020, one mom had the shock of her life when her toddler fell eight feet down an air vent. In 2023, firefighters came to the rescue when a 3-year-old stuck his head between the railings of a balcony and needed assistance. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
The pipe kid and the vent baby were so goofy 😂 Glad they were safe.

The reality is, a parent cannot have their kids in full biew every second of the day, without neglecting other responsibilities. If you've had kids, and your honest, you'll know this.
i dont know how half of these parents couldnt hear their kid fall or move a vent with them being 20 ft away.
No damn it! They should be watched at all times! Even when they’re sleeping! Duct tape them to your body and watch them at all times! And don’t sleep
EVER!!!!!
i didnt realize until i started babysitting just how fast they run off. like seriously you stop looking at a 2 year old for 15 seconds and suddenly they're trying to electrocute themselves in the wall socket or trying to drink windex or something, i cant imagine being a parent and being that anxious 24/7
@@thehungrygoldfishThat is exactly how it feels like to be a mama
Hinest?
They need to include the kids who climb into the teddy bear claw machines.
Yea but this video is about kids who got stuck in tight spaces being in a claw machine is not really a small tight space at least I don't think it is because they have at least room to move around these children were stuck where they could not move around except the girl stuck in the safe I think there were space in there for her to move around
Nahh😂😂
When did they start putting locks on ice chests?
The bite of 86 you mean??
@@jungkooksbananamilk1646they meant the space for the prize to drop in.
ALWAYS drill your vents down near children
You have to drill down EVERYTHING if you have children... they kind of always want to have their last day on this planet xD
My dog had baby pups and one of them accidentally fell in the vent and died
I don’t even know how they got the vent grille off

I’m claustrophobic, and seeing stuff like this sends chills up my spine.
Something that traumatized me forever was a story I saw in the news when I was a teenager about 4 friends that were playing hide and seek in a abandoned warehouse and hid inside an old fridge and locked themselves in. Their friend never found them and went back home without saying a word. By the time morning arrived the whole town was looking for them only to be found dead 😢😢😢4 days later for the lack of oxygen.
😢😢😢😢😢
I got my head stuck through a balcony like that toddler, except I was six or something. Luckily I managed to get free pretty quickly when I imagined someone having to saw me out.
Imagination is powerful
Bro I was just about to say that
Edit: This man has goddaughter mind reading
2:35 I would be laughing afterwards, I mean it’s bad that the kid got stuck in there but it’s such a comedic moment. Probably can have a laugh with them about in when their older
yes
@@CMaiaMCYep, that's what I thought too. How is filming the first thought that comes to a parent's mind instead of getting the kid out of there?
@@magik97 Umm, family video gold?
Thats probably why she got the camera out before taking the baby out
I would've laughed the moment I saw it.
Liberty unsafe would’ve given you the code had you just called. Surprised they didn’t know the ATF back door.
3:15 yes guys, she was "accidentally" locked in there.
I saw another version of that clip somewhere, I believe her and her sister were playing around with the safe and her sister accidently locked it when she hid inside

Kids always get theirselves stuck in crazy situations
Kids can do the strangest things they have no fear. That's why the saying don't take your eyes off them is so important. But I for one knows you can't always keep a eye on the little monster's. Lmao 😂
Especially, when there is more than one.
This is why you parents should always keep an eye on your youngsters even when you’re not looking.
well for the 2nd vent situation, the mother put the children down for a nap, assuming that they’ll be out of harms way.
"keep an eye on their youngsters even when they’re not looking." What????
That’s impossible. If you want to continue living life and doing chores and existing, parents do the best they can sometimes things happen I gave my parents a run for their money.
I second this. That's why I have eyes on the back of my head.
Wow! You must be the perfect parent.
I swear, you cannot take your eyes off kids for a single second.
No cap!
Good thing most people have cameras or they would never know 😂
not everyone thinks its good
2:13 I love how that baby just looks chill
Kids will be kids. In the first one, the parent wasn't blaming the company but rather suggesting and wanting the cooler to change the latch as kids will be kids, they will get in trouble of any sort. If you think watching kids its "easy" give it a try and learn the hard way is not neglect and is not easy. You can teach, tell, parenting, etc all you want, they will still do the silliest/dumbest thing.
so instead of teaching their son not to crawl into stupid places, they want the latch system to be changed... amazing parenting
You can warn your children a lot of times, but this won't stop a child's curiosity to discover new things. It's in their nature. Teaching them theoretically is necessary but insufficient and taking practical measures is a must.
@@veritasium1645 and what practical measures do you suggest lmao. the cooler company ain't gonna change their design because of the possibly that a kid would go inside of it and suffocate. a practical measure would be to not even have that if you have a kid that "curious"
EXACTLY
@veritasium1645 idk man, i was a kid for quite a few years and never got stuck in a cooler.
There were fridge and freezers that locks itself in the old days. Many kids died in them since they cannot be opened from inside. Think Billy in the fridge in Fallout 4. Latch was removed and replaced to magnetic strips that close the door and stays shut. Look at Indiana Jones getting into the fridge, it has a latch on it.
The drainpipe one was actually funny, looked like a super hero costume, PLUMBER MAN
2:12 Blud was halfway in the Backrooms 💀
My respect 4 the older kid in the second clip (1:20)
Yeah
PRETTY SURE that kid STUFFED his baby brother (who took his Mommy!) down that hole! Does anyone REALLY believe a BABY took the vent cover off, slid in the HOLE IN THE FLOOR feet-first, and then REINSTALLED THE VENT COVER??
I fear for that baby.
Really.
How old is this video?
Is that baby still alive???
And this is why I will never have children. The second you look away they try to play among us and go into the vent
I got my head stuck in the banister of our stairs leading to the basement. I was trying to see my dad downstairs! I think I was about 10! I’m 57 now and not any brighter!!
Have something similar but it's my older cousin who got stuck
He went on those toy cars that toddlers drive and he got stuck
Took 20 hilarious minutes for him to be free
If I was stuck in a tight place, I would Scream very loudly for my mom and dad
When and if i become a dad i am SCREWING THE VENTS CLOSED. I AM NOT letting this happen to my kids lol😅
My man at the end was the hero of heroes with a steady hand 😬 dude was cutting a pipe with a baby head in it dayum!!!
When I was about 10, there was this groundhog hole in my yard. It was dug there after hurricane sandy knocked down a tree. When winter came around a few months later, I was playing in the snow, and all of a sudden, I was sitting on the ground with my entire leg stuck in the hole. I was so scared that in those few seconds, one of them would bite me.
As someone who grew up in NJ and PA, I'm SHOCKED I never stepped in a groundhog hole

0:57 He wants the lock to be changed. He wants there to be changes to the cooler. Sure, but also, what about teaching your child not to climb inside the cooler. It just sounded like he was not taking accountability for what happened and just blamed the company of the cooler. Maybe I'm overthinking. It just sounds that way.
I was thinking the same thing when I heard him say that
I was thinking “WHAT? Man did you just demand the company recall those coolers?” All because of your absent parenting style. I wish people would take accountability & stop being so entitled.
1 and 2 were the most ridiculous, can parents not keep their eyes on their kids??

Firefighters need more respect ✅😭
Always keep an eye on your kids no matter what. Also side note floor vents must always be screwed in.
You can’t always keep an eye on your kids. If you want to actually have a life, and provide for your children, you’re going to have to take your eye off of them for a couple of minutes.
@@Pizzicato-hg3oc You can take your eyes off your kids briefly, but most of these types of things happened because they were left alone long enough for it to get bad. What if that kids head did go through the railing and he just plummeted to the ground? Have you seen the videos where moms discover their kids have covered themselves in peanut butter or vaseline or emptied the entire pantry cupboard, that took time, time where something bad could have happened instead.

Heart stopping
In one of the malls years ago there was a kid about 3 years old who got his head caught between the bars of the fence that goes around the escalator. They had to call the fire department because of his ears it was easy going through but trouble coming back. After that the mall put a second bar between each regular bar so it couldn't happen again.
That Chinese kid who got his head trapped in a drain pipe is gonna grow up to be an Astronaut 😂
That's a pretty good safe, looks like it'd take a lot of time to breach that one
I would hope that insof changes to the cooler that your kid learns to not go sitting in trapped spaces
I remember very clearly zipping myself in a polythene laundry bag. I clearly remember the heat coming off me and my panic. That was over 26 years ago. I now inform people of the dangers of the bag of if I ever see anybody using it. But I still get flash backs about it.
That last “mama” made me tear up I don’t know why lol

This is not the kids' fault. They do not have the knowledge that adults have. It is the adults, parents, and companies to make the surroundings safer for them as they learn and grow.
Parents cant watch their kid every 1 milisecond
2:01 defenition of “no thoughts, head empty”

The 1st kid in the cooler parents saying that they need to change the locking mechanism is ridiculous, instead of holding themselves accountable for their child they want the company to change their product! Maybe they should get one that doesn't LOCK!!
