man do i wish you would of should this whole process step by step! i have a 3gste 1991 and i'm soooo overwhelmed by just the thought of doing this i will and want to fo it but everytime i think that i might get stuck i back out since i only DIY. great job on you build
Nice channel, just discovered it. I was one of the early gen4 swappers back 13 years ago and was off scene for quite some while. This Turboblanket is new to me. How satisfied are you with the fit? I am from Germany - so Shipping and custom tax will add up a lot to the price. Just curious if its worth, My gen4 has some heat radiation problems to other components :)
There is a tack adapter u can buy it made by msd it's a black one. Also my electrician converted a relay with some diodes to send the signal to the tach
What do you think about deleting the manifold support brackets, axle carrier bearing support brackets and turbo support bracket? I'm thinking it will clean up the engine quite abit at not much risk.
4:29 looks good! I'd suggest trying to sleeve a new harness with Raychem sleeving if the car is for keeps :)

Im in the same boat 🤦♂️ finding solid videos showing the whole process is taxing for sure!
@@threadoflife yeah i still jave tge car sitting in the garage hahaha
Shouldn't you have put wires in first?
Nice man was looking for video of 3s rebuild
Great work! I might need some 3S-GTE tips later.
Change the stock fuel pressure regulator there known to failure. There is an adapter for the rail u can buy and get the adjustable regulator
Good video🙌🏻 better show the wiring harness like you mentioned
I'm probably making a whole video on the wiring once I know what I'm doing lol
Where did you get that header/turbo blanket?
The built looks amazing
Its a PTP turbo blanket
Is that a gen 4 head with a gen 2 block

Awesome work! Do you have any video how to make the stock tachometer work with 4th gen engine/ECU?

Nice paint job, is that's berk downpipe you using?

Where did you get the manifold heat shield?
Did you reuse the intake manifold and exhaust manifold gasket?
Good 👍video 🎬 . Can't help to wonder, what if a turbo K20a2 w/ 6 sp trend was swapped ? ? 🤔 🤔 🤔
Been done plenty of times, all over UA-cam. The Honda trans doesn't support big power tho. Most builds stick with the Toyota e153
What brand of turbo blanket did you go with? Any idea if it would fit a gen2 3sgte?
Its from ptp turbo but I think it only fits the gen 4 engine
What ecu are you using
I live in NB if you ever decide to sell!!
I need wiring, somebody help plz😢
Where did u get the turbo blanket and is it for the gen 4’s turbo
