Helpful video my freind thankyou ! Filters , I'm not gonna lie scare me for some reason. This video has encouraged me to maybe dip my toes in soon..
Keep up the great work !
Thank you kindly! Compared to you, sir, I am still a n00b when it comes to scale models, so I'm chuffed to hear I could provide you with some inspiration! 😉 Your Panzer 1 video was the reason I picked up this Breda, by the way!
Love it. As I'm going to be painting white armour soon, I wonder for enamel filters this gives me ideas but will need to work out what colours to use! Great video as always
Thank you very much, Paul! There are grey and blue filters also - that could be interesting for your application.
Good that you mentioned this on Twitter since I didn't know you had a channel. I'll check your other content as well. ;)
Thank you very much, Finndamage!
Thank you for this video!!I was looking everywhere for the filter video, because i bought the weathering set German camo and had no idea how to use this Tan for 3 tone camo. So once again thank you very much !!!!
Hi Moxxi, you are most welcome! Happy that it was useful!
yes another TRFT video. weekend made. great stuff again just as I'm about to do some testing on my militia.
Thank you, Nick! Imperialis Militia is one of the best 30k armies to be sure - would love to see some pics...
I just subbed, fantastic content. 🙂 I'd be really interested to see how you might paint tau flyers/suits to get the Forgeworld look! I've been puzzled by how they got that grotty yellowish white on the super heavies!
Thank you very much!! Never done Tau - would a white gunpla work for you instead? Been meaning to try one for a while
@@TheRaceForTerra absolutely 🙂 same technique, I think!
You can do the same with post shading. The filter looks just like heavy diluted paint. It looks to me like just another product they want you think you need.
Debunking welcome
It IS heavily diluted *enamel* paint. Nothing to do with post-shading, which I use frequently.
Would it be possible to apply a filter using an Airbrush?
Good question. Essentially, yes. The AMMO Shaders can be used in a similar fashion, and I have often airbrushed an enamel wash to tint a panel. I have never tried with an enamel filter, but the principle is the same.
