IT's a real crime we never got the green moonlight greatsword in the dlc. Ranni's bluemoon feels like a copout but at the same time a reference to Tanimura's bluemoon greatsword that Benhart wielded in ds2.

In 2nd phase he have a follow up for the attack where he goes flying and launch rocks at you, with all the vfx I can't see what's going on when he attack 4 times from the sky then land on your face And lastly his final nuke move, sometimes I can run out range easily sometimes he land right before me and blow me up whith the whole earth
@@garvax1041 1. Both swipes in the cross-slash can be dodged through the left so long as you're also moving towards the left 2. The moment he goes up into the air with the rocks, start running backwards. Then when he does launch the rocks you need to start running sideways, if you do this right you'll get enough distance that his first 4 phantom landing attacks can't reach you and all that's left is to dodge his 5th one 3. Not really sure I guess you just gotta start running really early
Honestly patches being the final boss would have fit a lot better with the lore. So much buildup since demon’s souls. He was a lying, backstabbing douche. Every step of the time. Yet he made it to the end of the world. He refused to hollow. With such power, only surpassed by Rick, Soldier of God, it’s no wonder a transient interdimensional being like Patches was Miyazaki’s chosen consort.
Unironically a good video to show someone that is struggling with the boss, those dodges were exactly how I beat him and had lots of fun, I do understand those that are getting frustrated tho
Almost perfect, I think it still needs some improvements to be the true pinnacle of Fromsoftware bosses: >Make the terrain a poisonous swamp, in some patches (eh eh) make the swamp deeper so you can't sprint and you go in fatroll. Add also a couple pits of death hidden below the sludge. >Make the metheors spawn basilisks when they hit the ground >Patches's attacks should inflict deathblight in second phase >When Patches reaches low health he will perform a Nihil attack that will restore half of his HP
Wow i love this. Some souls game characters like godwyn or Gwendolyn are basically same character, different name but Patches is just the same patches in every soulsbourne.
All it's missing is two dogs with infinite poise damage, a phase 2 runebear, and an arena divided into a poison swamp, a scarlet rot swamp, a deathblight swamp, and a frenzied swamp. It also needs more feet and you should be allowed to summon a cannibal woman npc with a sack over her head. That's the 100% Miyazaki Experience.
Jokes aside, patches has lived through the heat expansion death of at least two universes before ending up in Elden Ring. Miyizaki’s grab dialogue: I will make a sequel of any game you wish, no matter the genre. And the people you summon for the fight are gray rat and pate from ds2.
